According to newspaperman Jack Moseley, members of the FBI were puzzled as to how newspapers were able to write about Marguerite Oswald - who was in Secret Service 24-hour protective custody - in such minute detail.

The answer: Johnny Tackett, a fellow journalist at The Fort Worth Press, was in the hot water closet of the adjoining apartment, listening to every word that was said and taking careful notes.
