If the gpfloor code was used in place of Project Oswald why would the gpfloor code still be used after LHO

had been killed two weeks prior to the date on this document? Was Project Oswald still underway?

Here we see concern about getting a "Mr. Davis" across the Mexico border without alerting anyone that

KUBARK is involved.

Does this document seem to indicate that Davis is the lie-detector tech. or that he is to be interrogated by

KUBARK?

Would it be possible to assemble a collection here on the forum of these acronyms and code names and

what they represent? I can say from personal experience that I could use a handy reference guide for

these various codes/acronyms

Very interesting document, thanks for posting that. I wonder who on earth this 'Mr Davis' was and if a pseudonym. Also wonder what the connection is to Oswald and Mexico?

This is a very interesting document and I think it should lead to some general discussion of

GP/FLOOR. We have seen that crypt on documents having to do with Oswald but as

with many crypts the question is whether or not it refers to a person, project or

possibly process.

This document suggests that GP/FLOOR might have been a process or asset for CIA

moving people in and out of Mexico and avoiding certain customs procedures. We

do have an early report from a Customs source that Owsald was under observation

by a government agency and received special handling on his border transit - a report

that was squelched very quickly.

Could GP/FLOOR be a clue that Oswald went in or possibly out of Mexico with

some sort of CIA assistance?

I believe that Mr. Calvin Davis of KUSODA (the Secret Service) was flown into Mexico to administer a lie detector test to Nicarauguan spy, Alvarado who claimed to see a red headed negro give Oswald $6,500 in the Cuban embassy.

Given Steve's document references it appears that this thread supports the view

that GP/FLOOR does indeed refer to the post-assassination investigation of

Oswald. If anyone has seen any pre-assassination use of the crypt please let us

know; I do not recall any.

It seems ironic that they are showing so much concern for Alavrado who had

performed a highly inflammatory and dangerous hoax - compared to having

Sylvia Duran picked up and treated pretty brutally by Mexican authorities, with

no qualms at all.

They should have used that lie detector on everyone who gave testimony. This WAS the murder of our

president after all.

The date on the following is 1960-62 and has a reference to gpfloor.

To call it project oswald AND to have a codename-gpfloor seems to indicate a little more than just another

way to keep track of one dead LHO.

Project names and codenames indicate operations. Operations need planning and tracking.

I would like to see these handwritten notes and memoranda.

SE stood for?

It's interesting that the cryptonym was assigned on November 27th, but the file wasn't opened until December 12th. Everything in the 200-5-41 file was reclassified to Oswald's 201 file.

Chuck, given the second slip you posted - do you know any more about it - the reason I asked

is it seems a bit strange to find a two year period mentioned as if it were part

of the subject and not an actual date for the sheet itself. Which makes me

wonder if it is really a post assassination effort to collect material on

Oswald from the period in question?

I agree it would be a good thing to see the material it refers to; just need more

data to be sure this really shows GP/FLOOR (which appears to have been the crypt

for a post assassination investigation of Oswald) before the assassination - which

would be another ball of wax entirely.

...on the second point, my question on Alvarado has always been that since he willingly came

to the U.S. and since his information was potentially so explosive - why wouldn';t

they shove him on a US military aircraft and fly him to some highly secure

base and not only polygraph him but do whatever was required. After all his

story was being backed by CIA in MC and I can't think of a more explosive

issue - unless somebody way up at the top knew it couldn't be true. I really don't

think the Mexican government would have objected - why all these games

about keeping him in Mexico, well fed and unstressed...?
