Philip Sinclair
Hello to All, Can anyone post the number of personnel who made up the flight crew for AF-1 on 11-22-63 and their names? I am working on a project to identify everyone onboard to and from Dallas. I have identified thirty-eight of the passengers and five members of the flight crew/attendants including the pilot, co-pilot, two members of the signal core and one steward (see table below). Any assistance will be appreciated. Comments, suggestions, additions, and corrections are welcome. The primary problem as I see it, is differenciating those who were there for the swearing in ceremony and then left - like Judge Hughes and whoever lifted the swearing in missile, and those who made the flight to Andrews ie. Jack Valenti. There is mention of a flight manifast on the AF1 radio transcripts, acknowledging certain people were aboard, which would make me think that radio request would have sparked the plane captain to get a list of the names of those aboard. Though I wouldn't be surprised if this document no longer exists. There's also the Andrews AFB logs, some of which were almost destroyed but salvaged from the dumpster and now at NARA. They might contain manifest of passangers. Good luck and keep us posted of your research, Bk
