A DEMONSTRABLE IMPOSSIBILITY:

The HSCA Forensic Pathology Panel’s Misrepresentation of the Kennedy Assassination Medical Evidence

Synopsis

The House Select Committee on Assassinations’ Forensic Pathology Panel (FPP) examined the Kennedy assassination medical evidence and presented their analyses and conclusions in a formal report. As part of its investigation, the FPP sought to determine where a bullet or bullets exited President Kennedy’s head. To that end, the FPP constructed a scale replica of their interpretation of the damage pattern on John Kennedy’s head on a human skull. The FPP based its claim that a single bullet created a single exit point upon this skull model reconstruction exercise. Through a meticulous replication of the FPP skull model, the author demonstrates not only that the FPP outshoot claim is demonstrably impossible, but also that that fact could not have escaped any panel member who viewed the finished product. An illustration purporting to visualize that “single exit point” conclusion was included in the FPP-approved final draft of their Report. Incredibly, after the FPP approved its final Report, yet before it was published, persons unknown excised that illustration and its associated text. That illustration represented the embodiment of the FPP misrepresentation of the medical evidence apparently designed to hide one troubling finding; evidence had been developed that John Kennedy’s skull contained at least two, and perhaps three points of exit, one of which resided at the top rear of the skull.

Great stuff as always, John. You demonstrate, beyond any real doubt, that the HSCA FPP was trying to sell something, and telling some mighty fibs to sell it. It seems clear they were petrified of admitting there may have been missing skull, and may have been more than one bullet exit. Why so worried? Because they were blowing smoke... I particularly like Purdy's 12-20-78 memo--"The autopsy doctors also indicated that this beveling lined up on reconstruction with the semi-circular defect...which our doctors say is is the exit of the bullet because of the beveling they say they see on the enlarged, somewhat unclear photograph of the margin of the excavated skull cavity." Purdy seems justifiably skeptical. By pointing out that it is the HSCA panel that sees this exit, Purdy is as much as acknowledging that this exit was not spotted by the autopsy doctors. This suggests that he knew Baden was lying when he told the HSCA this exit was first described by Humes.

Thanks for all your work.

Great stuff, John.

Dox seems to be afraid of speaking about this, "especially over the phone", and that kind of fear goes a long way, IMHO,

towards keeping witnesses quiet.
