Guest Stephen Turner Posted March 29, 2007 Share Posted March 29, 2007 (edited) As the new series starts this Saturday(31st March) The good Dr's travelling companion is to be a Black female, This started me thinking, is it not time for a Female Doctor. Since its inception in November 1963 every Dr has been a White Male, surely the concept of regeneration would allow for either a Black person, or a Female to play the lead role. What do members think. Also who would you like to see as the first Female Doctor? I would have said Helen Mirren, but her sucking up to the Royal family at the Oscars means she is off my list.
