I am just updating my page on J. Edgar Hoover. We know he was very involved in the cover-up of the assassination. Does anyone have information that suggests he was involved in the assassination?

Hoover went on an all out attack on MLK leading to to the ceremonial awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize. A tape was fabricated, an attempt at distributing it, an anonomyous threat that sought to have King committ suicide. Hoover considered MLK as the most dangerous of Negroes. Ex aids were seeded throughout the south, incl Zach Van Landingham in the MSC, and others of note. The place is full of informers and monitors of communications. I guess one could say if it looks like a duck...
If nothing else Hoover contributed to a climate within which the vote by bullet became a viable option.
