Randy Gunter Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 I have been interested in the JFK case since my Mother told me I was present with her and my Aunt, as they heard the tragic news on November 22, 1963. They heard the breaking news over the radio as she prepared lunch. Although, I was only 11 months old at the time, this event became a part of my association to the case. I served 25 years in the US Navy, primarily as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician. I performed numerous Secret Service missions during this time for multiple POTUS, FLOTUS, VPOTUS, and Heads of State. I was also the Operations Chief and assigned many of our Technicians to USSS details through coordination with VIPPSA at Fort Gillem, GA. I believe the VIP Protection I have provided has enhanced my understanding in the failure of JFK’s detail. I look forward to the experience of this forum.
