Tracing the roots of Lee Harvey Oswald in New Orleans

Recommended Posts

Note: Lee Harvey Oswald and I were in high school in New Orleans at the same time but at different schools. I began an association with Guy Banister while still in high school (1954-56) before heading to Washington to enroll at Georgetown University. Banister's office in those days was within a five minute walk from where Oswald lived with his mother on Exchange Place in the French Quarter while he attended high school. So Banister, Oswald and I were within walking distance of each other in those years, but of course none of us had any inkling what the future held. Banister and Oswald did not start their relationship until 1963 when it was rumored that Banister became Oswald's handler. Oswald moved to Dallas from New Orleans.
