John Simkin
A friend is trying to track down a quote from Morton Downey who said that Bobby Kennedy told him something to the efffect, "If the American people knew the truth behind Dallas, there would be blood in the streets." Does anyone know anything about this.
Jack White
I googled Morton Downey Sr. the singer (not Jr, the talk show host) and the best connection I could find was that he was a close neighbor in Hyannisport Massachusetts. Jack
Len Colby
I googled Morton Downey Sr. the singer (not Jr, the talk show host) and thebest connection I could find was that he was a close neighbor in Hyannisport Massachusetts. Jack Jr. was closer in age to RFK than his dad, according to his (Jr.'s) official site "He also spent time at the Justice Department working under then Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy."* If he was the one who made that claim I'd "take it with a grain of salt" as he was known for making things up like the infamous incident when he faked being attacked by neo-Nazi's. *http://www.mortondowneyjrhome.com/bio.html Edited to add text in blue Edited July 9, 2006 by Len Colby
