My wife and I live in a highrise condominium in downtown San Diego overlooking San Diego Bay, Coronado Island and San Diego Harbor. An earthquake measuring 6.9 on the R-scale just hit a few minutes ago. I actually think it was closer to 7.2 -- Sometimes they revise their original estimate after collecting more data.
