Guest
Dan Lyndon and I recently participated in A Specialist College Trust event at Warwick University as CPD toolkit authors and tutors. The Trust's CPD toolkits are designed as ICT training resources for practicing teachers... the idea being that characters like Dan and I write them, and then deliver them to the Trust's "lead practitioners" who in turn use the resources as training materials in their local clusters. I think this would be a very good model for E-Help with course delegates leaving with a disk of useable training materials to take away with them. Dan authored and led a session on Web quests and I authored and led one session on using forums and another one on creating online learning objects. The Conference gave us a pretty good idea of the "level" in terms of ICT capability we might expect from delegates to the E-Help course and also provided us with an ideal dry run for some of the things we might offer in the final course. Perhaps we could share some of this at the next meeting? http://www.ssatrust.org.uk/cpdnetwork/trai...el/default.aspa
Richard Jones-Nerzic
Perhaps we could share some of this at the next meeting? Sounds perfect. As soon as we know if and when you'll be attending Toulouse, I'll try and work it into the agenda otherwise we have the more traditional members meeting in Stockholm.
