Very cute ... Try to make the "conspiracy nut " look paranoid ... How obvious of you ... Apparently you will stop at nothing and will stoop pretty low in trying to defend your position about Apollo ...

That guy's post on the UM made perfect sense .... Otherwise there would be no way that his friend would have been banned before he finished his post and no way that my posts could have been copied and replied to the very second I hit submit .

Another creepy thing I never understood about that site was how did the moderators post a reply , including copying some of my post back to me , immediately after I hit submit , when there wasn't even enough time to do so ? .... Then last week one of the members on the UM posted a thread called " Watchers... are we being watched ?" ... He said that a friend of his was banned BEFORE his "bad post" was even completed and submitted ! .... That's when I realized how my posts were always attacked so quickly by the mods ... They were being read AS I wrote them ! .... Talk about some scary stuff ... After reading that , I decided there was more reason to leave that forum than just the verbally abusive moderators and members there .
Perhaps they're psychic, I'm not sure it's possible for a moderator to read a post before it is submitted, another possibility is that they are smart enough to reply faster than you think possible. As for what some annonymous poster said about a "friend" that's not very persuasive evidence. Perhaps you can sort through your posts and find an example of what you speak, the time stamps should tell us if there is anything to your suspicions (oh yeah you'll tell us they changed them).

It's not, add the internet to the list of thing Duane knows nothing about.

I just got back from walking my dogs, I took a quick look at the site and noticed it uses the same software as this forum so one of the moderators here should be able to say definitively whether it is possible or not here. If it isn't possible here I doubt it is there. It is my understanding that this would only be possible by installing spyware. I really doubt the moderators would commit a crime (it is illegal in the US and Brazil and I assume in the UK where the site is based as well) to be able to do this. Especially since the program would probably be detected by many member's anti-spyware programs. I also imagine the moderators have better things to do with their time. Of course they could be NASA stooges using some super secret undetectable spyware and spend 24/7 monitoring peoples' posts as they type them.

Kevin ... I don't appreciate your personal insults to me ...

I don't care what any of you choose to believe but I happen to know for a fact that my posts were rarely allowed to go unanswered for more than a few minutes at any given time and some were even answered seconds after I posted them ....

I realize that some moderators have no life outside of the web site forums they moderate , but that still does not explain the lightening speed with which they copied parts of my posts and replied so quickly ... Not unless they were working right along with me.

Edited to remove defamatory comments.

I found this claim interesting, so went back over some of the threads at UM.

The shortest time I could find between one of Duane's posts and a reply was 2 minutes; that was from a Mod warning that if the thread did not stay on track, it would be closed.

The next shortest time I could find was 3 minutes, and the post that followed Duane's was from a supporter of his.

Times then went from 8-10 minutes up to days.

Duane, can you show me where your posts were replied to "immediately" or "seconds" after you posted?

It's not possible without installing a live keylogger on your pc, and having someone sit there monitoring you all the time. And considering the number of users on all of these forums, the manpower doesn't exist to watch them all. Do you think your posts really warrant that kind of attention? You're just cut & pasting other people's arguments that you don't even understand.

The guy who claimed to have been banned before he could finish typing the reply either got banned for something else, or is lying. Considering the post didn't even say who it was so people could investigate, I'd go with the second option.

As for fast replies, it only takes a second to click the reply button and it gives you the post nicely quoted and ready to go.

Kevin .... All I know is that as soon as I hit submit , proof read my posts ( some of them were a bit long ) made any necessary corrections and then returned to the main screen , my posts were usually already answered by Waspie_ Dwarf .... He would often pick apart my posts line by line with involved replies but not always .... So if he managed to do all that AFTER I sumitted my posts then he is just really fast .... Must be that scientific brain of his .

As for this reprimand in my post above here ... "Edited to remove defamatory comments. " .... I honestly don't remember making any ... I PMed Mr. Simkin and asked him about this , so hopefully he can remember what he found to be so defamatory .
