  1. Or he had satellite TV in the limo and was watching CNN. Can you prove he didn't? You're assigning a motive based on a single word. Sounds more like you want there to be something sinister behind the statement so you grasp at any straws you can. Doesn't surprise me from what else I know abut you though. And again, he never said he saw the impact, he said he saw it had happened. It doesn't even have to be a misspeak. People talk like that all the time and others know what they mean. And I'm done with this now. You want there to be something sinister and therefore won't look at it objectively. It is no use to argue with someone like that.
  2. I did not say that he was misquoted. I said he is famous for misspeaking. He does not speak correctly all the time and says some very stupid things. Adding the one word I mentioned to his statement would change the meaning. I leave out that word often when not carefully choosing my words and I know many others do also. He did have a TV in the limo and may have seen the news coverage there. So I will say again, can you definitively state that he meant what you think he meant?
  3. I just have one thing to say about number 4 There have been websites devoted to Bush's verbal errors and misspeakings. Yet he is supposed to have said this exactly correct? What if just one word were added? Completely changes the meaning doesn't it? Can you say definitively that he meant exactly what you think he meant?
  4. Amazing Jack! You can discount something just because an editor happens to have a certain relative. What about the facts in the article?
  5. Steve...years ago atomic scientist Edwin Teller foresaw the advent of global warming, and told Washington (he had their ears) that the govt should find a way of providing AN UMBRELLA to shade the earth from excessive sunlight. One result of this was the present WORLDWIDE program of CHEMTRAILS, which spread out to form cirrus clouds, screening out much sunlight. This is all documented. Google CHEMTRAILS, WEATHER MODIFICATION, TELLER UMBRELLA, etc. Jack <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If that were true Jack then why are there areas of the country and vast areas of the world that don't have persistent contrails? And why do those areas exactly correspond with areas that don't have high altitude jet traffic? It's all more likely to be a conspiracist's pipe dream.
  6. If you are going to use somebody's name, at least take the time to get it right. The name is Christa McAuliffe. What does Challenger or the space shuttle have to do with Apollo? They are entirely different vehicles. Yes, we know how to get into space but that doesn't mean mistakes can't or won't happen. Hopefully we'll learn from them and move on.
  7. Why must WE accept that GBW statements mean he saw the actual plane strike the building? Are there any other acceptable meanings to his statements? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good point Craig. The addition of one word to his statement such as "I saw that a plane hit the tower" would completely change the supposed meaning. For all the times he's stumbled over his words before and been made fun of for it, is it really hard to believe that he said exactly what he meant to say this time? We know he's not the greatest orator, heck sometimes he's not even very good. Why should we assume he didn't flub his words this time? (Edited once for my own spelling and grammer mistakes)
  8. Jack, Where is this article being published? Will it be available online. If so, will the website be public or subscription only?
  9. The LEM is in both locations because both locations are the same. If the mountains are far enough away, and in this case they definitely are, then they will look the same or very approximately the same from different viewpoints. Anybody who has driven in a car can verify this phenomenon. As you look out a side window, the scenery close to you goes by very quickly while the much farther away features, be it mountains or a cityscape, will appear to move slower. To see this for yourself at anytime, pick a large landmark, mountain, building, radio antenna, etc., in the distance on a clear day. Miles away is good but even a few hundred yards will do. Look at the landmark and look at the scenery right in front of you. Now move laterally, not towards or away from the landmark, 20 feet. The landmark looks the same but the scenery that was in front of you is now completely different. Also the scenery that was directly in front of you before you can now see from a completely different angle. No mystery, just perspective.
  10. So anybody that doesn't agree with you is automatically a "provocateur"? Gee it must be nice to live in your deluded little world. And is NASA psychic? Craig Lamson registered on this board on 15 November. That's absolutely amazing that he could have been sent here a full month before you even started posting about the supposedly faked Apollo photos on 18 December. As far as I can tell, Craig has done nothing more than point out that your research was in fact shoddy and incomplete. You claimed that only 2 pictures showed the scale on the window and Craig found 63. How do you account for that?
  11. I am currently an officer in the United States Air Force. I am 27(as of this posting, undoubtedly older for anyone reading this), married with one(now two) kid(s) (edit: two boys with a third kid, a girl on the way). I heard about this forum recently from a friend and became interested. I joined because I think I can add something due to my unique experience and background. I have a Bachelor's and Master's in Aviation and will soon be pursuing an MBA as well. My interests lie in astronomy, space flight, contrail formation, weather, and of course aviation. My posts reflect MY OWN views and opinions. I am not paid or in any way compensated for posting here or anywhere else.
