I am an technological troglodyte and regard flint knapping as a thing of wonder.
I went to university in the 1970s as a mature student, and taught in an Essex comprehensive from 1977 until the arrival of Blair. I packed up teaching history, politics and sociology in order to spend more time with my library. I find I now have much more time to pursue my other interests in the theatre, archaeology and supporting Fulham football club.
