Just another topic to offer... How about studying history in different countries? I've had experience of studying history in Russia and France, I've also seen history in the USA. The point is that it was all different! Everything depended on the perception of the event, everything can be twisted in all the ways... Do you think that we all should have the wame curriculum or at least to study all the different views of the events? Or may be it could destroy the cultural balance: we will all have too similar knowledge and therefore nothing to share?

Hello everyone! (I've just joined the forum, as I have been away for the holidays). Just wanted to say that starting to read the forum, I realised that to read all the posts will take me at least an hour, however when I started to read I really got into these discussions: all this is really fascinating! What about the new topics, I think that topic of censorship, offered by Stephen would be very interesting. Especially in education! For example, from which age should the certain books in the library be allowed? How can we find the balance between the "freedom" to read the available material and impossibility to alow a child to read certain books because of unformed perception of certain things? Do you think that we should have the age restrictions for the books as for the movies? Or may be the senior students could control the junior??? Anyway, just a suggestion of futher developing of this topic...

Taganrog, Russia (For those who do not know: it is a small city in the south of Russia. If you will look at the map of Russia you will find it somewhere near the Black sea...Or you can see the image below, it is the city marked with an asterix...) Countries lived in? Russia and France Languages spoken? Russian, English and French School? International School of Toulouse Subjects studied? Hmmm... If I write all ones, which I have studied in Russia and add current ones, there will be a very long list... So, I'd better write only current ones, which are: History, English, DT, Art, Biology, Chemistry, Math and French College, career, life ambitions? Well, as my family is still doubting where we can live in few years, it is hard to say what college I would like to study in... Preferences? I would enjoy history and law (although when I was little I wanted to be a firewoman, but this does not count ) Hobbies and interests? Ah, here is the most popular question of all questionnaires and the most difficult one for me...So what do I like? Reading, history, basketball and few other sports, travelling, roller-skating and ice-skating…. PS Nice to meet you all!!!!
