After the motorcade

In 1963, Bill Sanderson was just a boy of 12 trying to catch a glimpse of the president. He ended up seeing history in motion.

This is the remembrance of a 12-year-old Dallas boy who watched the John Kennedy motorcade just minutes before the assassination. In italics are the gently edited journal memories of the author's mother, the late Eula Mae Sanderson, who with her husband, J.W., waited at the Trade Mart for JFK's arrival:
