That I'm very sorry about my last message on this forum. I have recently been fighting with my own educational demons and that night in particular my demons won. I believe in the due process of education and I take back any comment which might have caused offense to any member of this forum.

Pleased to hear you are still in the land of the living. You will have to say worse things that that to upset me. The only way to really upset me is to stop making postings.

I would be really interested to hear about your experiences in China. I am not really surprised that you had problems in China. I found the country a very oppressive country. My friend in China was not allowed out to study at the LSE. The books that I sent him never arrived. Then I lost all contact with him. I suspect he was arrested (he was deputy editor of a magazine but was also a member of the underground). He is/was a libertarian socialist. The Chinese government does not like those kinds of socialists.

I've just read the post and it was a bit disturbing. As Walker says above though you should always keep talking. Never mind what you think about people, there is not one teacher who would fail to understand pressures get to you and things need to be discussed.
