All of Lennon got him killed (IMO), however, the timing, when large sections of Latin America stood poised to throw off the Monroe Doctrine and successful revolutions loomed clear in many places and the CIA covert crackdown was about to go into full swing, a live Lennon post '79 would have been a force to reckon with. Numero uno: Nicaragua and the upcoming CIA/CONTRA/SFLN clash following the downfall of Somoza and the disruption of the drug trade with Managua as a principal distribution node pre-revolution, El Salvador FMNL (Romero), Guatemala, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Honduras, Venezuela, Argentina...
