Peter McGuire
I felt twenty years ago that the future of our African American students lay in education. The cycle of poverty that I witnessed in Milwaukee Wisconsin in the late 80's convinced me that there are so many talented, but underachieving young black people that only need the chance that most of us take for granted. I have just heard about the Ron Walker Academy but am also aware of a large private school in Harlem that is impacting over 5,000 students. Good news! And Harlem students; you will ALL be in College when you finish your Highschool!
