Douglas Caddy
We are building a new National Archives Catalog! The new Catalog will officially launch on November 21, 2022, replacing the legacy Catalog at catalog.archives.gov. In a recent newsletter, we shared important information about the new Catalog, including the move to Login.gov to access Catalog user accounts. If you don’t already have a login.gov account, you can set one up now so you are ready to go on launch day. Just be sure the email address associated with your login.gov account is the same email address associated with your Catalog account. Following the new Catalog launch on November 21, you will have the opportunity to link your login.gov account with your existing Catalog account. Read all about it, including what you can do to prepare for the new Catalog in our recent newsletter! Records of the Children's Bureau, National Child Labor Committee Photographs taken by Lewis Hine, ca. 1912 - ca. 1912. National Archives Identifier 523295 Have questions about the new Catalog? Find your answer on History Hub! Use the Citizen Archivist community to ask—or answer—questions, or see if your question has already been answered. Please note: Citizen Archivist contributions and user accounts will be temporarily unavailable between November 17-21, 2022, as we migrate Catalog user accounts and contributions. You may also experience a short window of downtime on November 17 as we prepare for the transition. The latest information about the Catalog’s availability status and Citizen Archivist contributions will be announced on the Catalog homepage and on archives.gov. Stay tuned for more information and updates! We look forward to navigating the new Catalog with you! Visit our informational page for the latest updates and a list of available and upcoming features.
