I have noticed that Manuel Vila Ray has joined the forum. Manuel is the grandson of Manuel Ray and has agreed to answer questions about his grandfather.

First off I would like to welcome you to the forum. There are hundreds of questions that spring to mind but first off, can you offer any details about the anti-Batista Civic Resistance Movement that your grandfather was behind in 1957?

Details like who planned the acts of sabotage and who were recruited to carry them out would be greatly appreciated. Was there a specific militant arm to the organization?
