Robert's friend George Skakel, Jr., and accident or

Hi John,

Officially the crash was determined to have been caused by pilot error. Five prominent men were killed that day, George Skakel, Dean Markham, Louis Werner 11, Earl Ranit and pilot Donald Adams.

A year before the crash, George, Rushton and James Skakel (owners of the Great Lakes Carbon Co.) purchased 5,000 acres of the Adolfo Camarillo Ranch which was about 40 miles north of Los Angeles.

If one has the time to dedicate, the Camarillo family history is most interesting indeed.
