James Richards
Bidding is heating up on eBay for a collection of documents and photographs featuring none other than our favorite spook Rip Robertson. It is up to around a $1,000 at the moment but the reserve has yet to be met. I guess one would need to be cashed up as bidders might well be competing with the accounting department at Langley? http://cgi.ebay.com/JFK-Bay-of-Pigs-docume...1QQcmdZViewItem FWIW. Owen Parsons
Good find, James. These documents seem to settle the issue of the name of the landing boat: Barbara J, not Barbara.
Ron Ecker
I'd sure like to see those Robertson pics. Somebody buy 'em and post 'em.
Michael Hogan
Only one guy has bid--31 times! Except for the CIA guy that just outbid him. James, did you see his bidding history? He has won bids on some great photos of the Cuban revolution. You can view those photos here: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...id=130016085178 Here's a couple of examples: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=6287481100 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=110005393938 Edited August 19, 2006 by Michael Hogan

The current bid is $3,999.99, with the reserve still not met. Barb, the seller, has been kind enough to sent me some of the individual images from this collection. These images are very important from the investigatived stand point but also from the historical angle. I hope that someone besides our other "friends" will win this auction. It would make a great investment for those researchers who are young enough to sell off the collection years down the line or for us older researchers ( John S. included) as a tax right off or better yet pass the collection to a family member. john w P.S. Barb's computer crashed for several days. Could be our "friends"?
