Now retired, I was a qualified teacher for 30 years and spent much of that time helping foreign children in primary and secondary schools mainly in South Yorkshire. I maintain an interest in the language acquisition and the literacy acquisition of ALL children because foreign children taught me so much. I would welcome comments and discussions concerned with the subject.
