Attention Mr. Simkin

Jack White

Recommended Posts

Twice I have asked that the revised link to my biography be corrected,

but it has never been done.

The correct link is:

http://library.uta.edu/findingAids/AR407.jsp#Bio%20Sketch

Thanks.

Jack

This is because it is your responsibility to go to "My Controls" and edit your own signature settings - a 10 second job at tops

Mr. Simkin put the link there when I joined. Nobody ever told me to do it.

I joined at his request, and he was very kind to assist me. You, on the

other hand are unaccountably hostile.

Just click on My Controls then change signature settings.

Unless you give me your password I cannot do this for you. As Andy has pointed out all you need to do is click on My Controls then post new URL in your signature.

Thanks for the reply, John. As far as I know, I DO NOT HAVE a password.

If you recall, when you recruited me to join your forum I was reluctant

to do so, and you handled all the pertinent details. If you submitted a

password on my behalf, you neglected to inform me. So I do not know

a password.

Your forum provides a valuable resource for researchers, and your

postings are extremely valuable and important. Many of your topic

discussions cover areas I had never studied. Unfortunately your co-host

is woefully uninformed in these areas of important study, has a

closed (empty?) mind on the subjects, and delights in ad hominem

attacks to cover his lack of information...quite your opposite.

Thanks again.

I rely almost entirely on Mr White to keep me "woefully uninformed"

Re your password. Your computer must have remembered your password for you. It would be quite incredible if this had happened without you first entering it yourself - unless of course there is some wild cyber conspiracy afoot  .

Go to the top of the page, click on "my controls" and edit your signature. It really is quite the simplest thing to do, so please do it and stop wasting our time!

Enrollment at the University of Texas at Arlington exceeds 25,000 students. It is a

major university with high standards.

What is the enrollment at Dartford Technology College, Mr. Walker?

UTA Special Collections thinks so highly of my historical studies that they are seeking

to add my JFK collection of materials as important to historians, present and future.

What historical studies are you respected for, Mr. Walker?

I doubt that you have even looked at the UTA website I recommended.

Perhaps who should ask someone there to help you change your signature

I have no doubt that you have a huge and misplaced sense of self importance - hence this ridiculous thread

One can only conclude that being a student of Mr. Walker would

be an unpleasant experience indeed. Someone so insulting to

total strangers would be a nasty nightmare for young people

wanting to learn.

Jack

Generally I am quite well received by my students and they learn well and become successful.

Sometimes however I have difficulties with those with severe learning problems as is evidenced here.

Gary Mack has asked for my collection. I wonder where that leaves me? :D

Gary Mack has asked for my collection to be deposited in The Sixth Floor Museum.

I wonder where that leaves me :P
