Liverpool History Animation

Hello Everyone

I am writing to let you know about a piece of animation software to celebrate Liverpool’s 800 year history. The software is freely available for anyone but specifically schools in Liverpool and the Merseyside area, who can either download it or use it on-line and take advantage of additional collaborative features – at no cost whatsoever.

The software covers various historical eras and includes related clip-art to allow your pupils to create simple stories through animation. These animations can be used within the context of many existing curriculum areas, for example Art, PHSE, ICT, History or English.

There are some PowerPoint teaching resources and instructional videos on how to use the software on the project website: http://liverpool.fluxtime.com/ where you can also download the software from.
