"JFK Three Shots That Changed America"

The ramp area after the shooting of Oswald.

On the DVD in the frame below, it appears to me that a cop is man handling a cameraman, in an attemt to stop him filming !

Some information from Gary Mack:

Robin,

Every frame you posted comes from Sixth Floor Museum collections and licensed by the producers for JFK: Three Shots that Changed America. Now for some notes:

2) Police initially kept all reporters and photographers from entering the basement immediately after the Oswald shooting; similarly, those who were in the basement were not allowed to leave as they secured the crime scene.

3) The color scenes of Dealey Plaza were all filmed shortly after the Oswald shooting.

4) The Bell Telephone truck and most other b&w scenes were filmed late Sunday afternoon.

5) The first flowers on the knoll appeared on Saturday afternoon and the wreath you pictured comes from a Sunday morning video a few minutes before Oswald was shot.

Gary Mack

Thanks Gary.
