  1. This is why the government killed him. Not because he marched with sanitation workers or pressed for civil rights. When JFK/MLK took on the war profiteers he/he died. This might be MLK's greatest speech but how often do we hear about it? The regime and their media don't mind if we hear his "Dream" speech, but they will not acknowledge the existence of this speech because they'd be pointing out the motive of the murder. Thanks for posting this Nathaniel.
  2. Maybe your self-righteous act would go over better on a forum that is not dedicated to discussing assassination.
  3. Ron and Jesse Ventura got it exactly right (you're in distinguished company Ron ). IF Obama is actually a free agent, and not assimilated into the borg collective, he's in clear and present danger. It has nothing to do with his race. The MIC gangsters couldn't care less about color and gender; they only want to insure that a president understands business. President Kennedy did not "understand business."
  4. I'd be really interested in hearing your theory on why the CIA (presumably it was the CIA) set the trap for Nixon Stephen. Either in this thread or another.
  5. Myra, are you reffering to the concert for John Sinclair the pro pot activist? If so that took place in Dec 1971, the hight of Johns political activism, not in 79-80. Yeah, the John Sinclair concert. That's what I was referring to Stephen. And you're right about the timing. Thank you. The point being, that this world famous activist--John Lennon--had huge clout, visibility, popularity, courage, talent, and powers of persuasion. And he had shown all that with his penning of the song "John Sinclair," and his involvement in the Sinclair rally--which was successful and won Sinclair's freedom. Sinclair received a 10 year prison sentence for possession of two joints, and had only served 3 years when the rally took place. Then he was released 3 days after the rally. That is a clear demonstration of clout, and is not the kind of thing the war mongering gov't wanted to see from the famous self-described "peacenik" who was coming out of a long retirement and recording a new album just as the corrupt Reagan/Bush regime was coming into office. "After a long break from the business, feeling reinvigorated and full of ideas, Lennon wrote an impressive amount of material that later became the comeback album Double Fantasy, which he and Ono produced together. His single, “Just Like Starting Over,” was climbing the singles charts, and Lennon was thinking of starting a world tour, when his life was tragically ended." http://www.u-s-history.com/pages/h3764.html "In late 1972, when the "surveillance" was at its peak, John Lennon told humorist Paul Krassner, "Listen, if anything happens to Yoko and me, it was not an accident." The FBI and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) tracked John at from at least his "Free John Sinclair" concert in 1969 until 1976, even though by then John had won his immigration battle and dropped out of not only political activism but public life altogether. This turned out to be a five-year period of seclusion to raise his newly born son, Sean. Sean Lennon was born on October 9, 1975, his dad's 35th birthday. Placing a person under "constant surveillance" and ordering that person executed are admittedly two very different things. Nevertheless, Bresler's point is that the government did not consider John Lennon a harmless rock 'n' roller. John's political publicity stunts such as in his and Yoko's Montreal "Bed-In" and "War Is Over" were always capable of seizing the spotlight and speaking directly to tens of millions of young people who venerated him. With unfettered access to the world's media, his power truly was immense. Because of this, in some circles he was correctly viewed as the most dangerous radical who needed to be stopped. John Lennon was the most dangerous person in the world, to those whose interest is a world under corporate military rule. John Lennon was assassinated only four years after the intense FBI and CIA surveillance ceased. In those intermittent years, James Earl Carter was President, a Democrat who kept the two agencies more or less in check. Matter of fact, about 1000 CIA was let go under James Earl Carter's Presidency. But on November 4, 1980, when John Lennon's first album (Double Fantasy) in half a decade was climbing high on the charts, James Earl Carter became a lame duck President. I discovered a very interesting fact about the last three major assassinations in the United States. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Robert Francis Kennedy and John Winston Lennon were all executed during the time of a lame duck Presidency. President Lyndon Baines Johnson became a lame duck on March 31, 1968 when he said to a national television audience; he would not run for reelection even if the Democrats wanted him to. Four days later Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. Sixty-three days later, Senator Robert Francis Kennedy was assassinated after winning the California Democratic primary (RFK would have been the Democratic Presidential candidate against the Republican Presidential candidate Richard Milhouse Nixon, and RFK would have won the Presidency). On November 4, 1980 President James Earl Carter lost the Presidential election to Ronald Wilson Reagan, thus becoming a lame duck President. Thirty-four days later, the heartbeat of music for his generation, John Winston Lennon was assassinated. In every single major assassination these black-op conspirator killers have actually had the balls to blame it on some poor deranged lone gunman. They have had a patsy or a mind controlled Manchurian candidate fall guy for the last four assassinations. President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Senator Robert Francis Kennedy, and the founder and leader of the most influential musical group The Beatles, the person who was his generations and about to be another generations leader for peace and love, John Winston Lennon. Reagan's campaign was managed by career secret agent William Casey, who under President Reagan became the CIA's most freewheeling chief since Allen Dulles (who JFK fired). The new far-right administration would reassemble the intelligence services and grant them a cheerful carte blanche. Something quite interesting about William Casey, who just happening to die very quickly from a supposed brain tumor on May 6, 1987. He died without ever testifying in the scandal, which most certainly originated with him, the Iran Contra Affair. The forces that tried desperately to neutralize John Lennon for at least seven years lost power in November of 1976. The Lennon's government dossier ends in that year. In 1980, as those forces were preparing to retake control of the government, "the most dangerous extremist" John Lennon emerged from retirement with the best selling album, Double Fantasy, and was promptly assassinated." http://www.john-lennon.net/whoauthorizedth...fjohnlennon.htm
  6. Stephen that question has already been answered multiple times on this thread, if you'll just go back and read. In addition, if you are interested in this subject then watch the movie The US vs John Lennon at the link I already gave: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=77...sus+John+Lennon It makes the context of his murder very clear, as well as the fact that he was coming out of retirement to be full time--world famous--activist, and getting results (e.g., getting the guy busted for pot out of jail within hours of his benefit concert). On edit: Replaced the URL since Mike said it doesn't work (thanks Mike). The same URL given earlier in this thread works fine. I encourage all who are interested in this subject to watch the film: The US vs John Lennon. It should answer most, if not all, questions about why the Reagan/Bush CIA dominated gov't wanted John Lennon dead.
  7. Yes, exactly. Between what Mae had to say and the material in The US vs John Lennon, it's quite clear how much power Lennon had, what threat he posed and to whom, why the US fought so long and hard to deport him, and what was done to him after the deportation efforts failed. IMO the gov't assassination of Lennon is as blatant and certain as the gov't assassination of President Kennedy.
  8. Never mind. If this chapter is representative of his level of writing, the book isn't even coherent. http://aconstantineblacklist.blogspot.com/...d-to-death.html
  9. In a related note-- Has anyone read this book? The Covert War Against Rock: What You Don't Know About the Deaths of Jim Morrison, Tupac Shakur, Michael Hutchence, Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Phil Ochs, ... Tosh, John Lennon, and The Notorious B.I.G. by Alex Constantine http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/092291561..._pr_product_top If so what do you think of it?
  10. Just stumbled across this blog entry that shows, in my view, that the gov't assassination of John Lennon is widely accepted as a fact: "Bob Marley was an ambassador of universal global peace. That is why the CIA assassinated him. Great men who are a threat to the elites have been systematically eliminated time and time again (i.e., Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Robert F.Kennedy, and John Lennon). ..." http://dillsnapcogitation.wordpress.com/20...e-white-devils/ Which raises the issue of Bob Marley's death... He was, like Lennon, a hugely famous influential artist utterly dedicated to justice and human rights. He survived one blatant assassination attempt: "He was nearly murdered in 1976 when he refused to support the U.S. backed puppet presidential candidate of Jamaica. Two days before the “Smile Jamaica” festival Marley’s home was shot up with automatic weapons and he received two bullet wounds." Nothing sneaky about that, no patsies or mkultra. But what about his supposed death from cancer? Did he get injected Ruby style? The below is the first claim I've ever seen that he did: "The CIA finished the job when Marley tried on a boot that was ostensibly given to him by a fan (who was none other than Carl Colby, the son of CIA Director William Colby). The boot was fitted with a small syringe filled with a fast-acting cancer agent that ended his life prematurely. ... Melanoma can be injected into the host’s body. Here is a recent study. “A History of Secret U.S. Government Programs,” notes that as early as 1931, there has been documented federal interest in the creation of a cancer-causing agents: “Dr. Cornelius Rhoads, under the auspices of the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Investigations, infects human subjects with cancer cells. He later goes on to establish the U.S. Army Biological Warfare facilities in Maryland, Utah, and Panama, and is named to the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission.” In 1975, “the virus section of Fort Detrick’s Center for Biological Warfare Research is renamed the Fredrick Cancer Research Facilities and placed under the supervision of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) . It is here that a special virus cancer program is initiated by the U.S. Navy, purportedly to develop cancer-causing viruses.” What are the odds that the son of the CIA director would visit Marley at his home and give him a boot to try on? He yelled “ow” when he slipped it onto his foot. These are powerful inferences that may or may not validate my claim, but they warrant further investigation." [All quotes from the URL already given.] What do you guys think about Bob Marley's death? Did a second assassination attempt succeed?
  11. Absolutely positively without a shadow of a doubt Chapman=Oswald and Lennon=Kennedy. See the film The US versus John Lennon at the below URL if you do have a shadow of a doubt: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=77...sus+John+Lennon Also look at the timing, i.e., who was coming into office in just a few weeks and did not want a world famous peacenik dogging them.
  12. And could it be that the ID was taken from the drunk slob without his knowledge rather than lost by him? However, at this point I rather suspect that the perps had all the counterfeit IDs they needed in DP so didn't have to use any real/lost/stolen ones.
  13. Exactly the point. Motive. He sided with working people vs US Steel, vs outsourcing, vs big business... ********************************************************** It's time for another Civil War. ... It really is. Long past time. ... ... Now what?

  15. As someone who is outraged by tax incentives going to companies who send jobs offshore, I was happy to come across this, in USA Today of all places. I'm surprised at how long the tax incentive has been around. And, as is so often the case, I'm pleasantly surprised by President Kennedy's stance on the issue. The man was a progressive and a populist. Guess the 1960's were not all that long ago, and today's issues are yesterday's issues deferred. "By David J. Lynch, USA TODAY Democratic presidential contenders Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama have cast it as an outrage that should be a key target for the next president: a tax break they say encourages employers to ship American jobs abroad. The charge could be dismissed as typical campaign-trail exaggeration during a Democratic primary season marked by populism, except for one thing. Many analysts say it's true. "The U.S. tax system does provide an incentive to locate production offshore," says Martin Sullivan, a contributing editor to Tax Notes, a non-profit publication that tracks tax issues. At issue is the U.S. tax code's treatment of profits earned by foreign subsidiaries of American corporations. Profits earned in the United States are subject to the 35% corporate tax. But multinational corporations can defer paying U.S. taxes on their overseas profits until they return them to the USA — transfers that often don't happen for years. General Electric, for example, has $62 billion in "undistributed earnings" parked offshore, according to recent Securities and Exchange Commission filings. Drug giant Pfizer boasts $60 billion. ExxonMobil has $56 billion. "If you had two companies in Pittsburgh that both were going to expand capacity and create 100 jobs, our tax code puts the company who chooses to put the plant in Pittsburgh at a competitive disadvantage over the company that chooses to move to a tax haven," says former White House economist Gene Sperling, a Clinton adviser. ... The deferral clause has been in the tax code for more than half a century and has outlasted numerous reform efforts. In April 1961, even as U.S.-backed rebels were dying at Cuba's Bay of Pigs, President Kennedy asked Congress to rewrite tax provisions that "consistently favor United States private investment abroad compared with investment in our own economy...." http://www.usatoday.com/money/perfi/taxes/...ffshoring_N.htm
  16. "... The retired FBI agent served as a supervisor on what he calls the "murder investigation" of the president. It has made him and a legion of G-men who probed the Nov. 22, 1963, assassination of President Kennedy among the most second-guessed people in history. And in some quarters, the most maligned. Their efforts provided the bulk and heft of the 888-page "Report of the President's Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy" — otherwise known as the Warren Report. The report concludes Lee Harvey Oswald, a 24-year-old nobody, had single-handedly killed the leader of the free world. A Gallup Poll taken shortly thereafter indicated more than half of all Americans didn't buy the lone-assassin story. Then came the books whose authors had theories. It was the Cubans, the anti-Cubans, the CIA, the military, the mafia. But all these paled to Oliver Stone's 1991 film, "JFK," which essentially implicated every government agency except the Census Bureau. The only person not involved, according to Stone's fractured telling of events on that crisp Dallas day in 1963, was pretty much Oswald himself. And now, as the 45th anniversary of Kennedy's death approaches and as Rogge's colleagues in the investigation are dying, 81 percent of all Americans believe it was a conspiracy, according to Gallup. It is a statistic that just does not compute with this affable, 81-year-old former lawman. "We were open to the idea Oswald did not act alone. We investigated every rumor, every lead, and found no evidence," he said. ... But there was no time for his grief. On Nov. 25, he boarded President Johnson's Air Force jet at Andrews Air Force Base. He remembers it was on the runway — fueled up, engine running — awaiting agents to board for the flight to Dallas. Once on the ground there, the G-men received a police escort to FBI headquarters. That's when the glamour ended. Soon, Rogge was putting in 16-hour days and summarizing each day's investigation for reports that had to be waiting on the desk of FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover when he arrived at 6 in the morning. Hoover was notoriously demanding, Rogge said, and the agents believed he would catch any flaws in the investigation. So not one of them anticipated the public skepticism after the Warren Commission released its findings. And the bureau's official position to detractors was "no comment." Rogge told me only one conspiracy theorist has ever interviewed him, although he is willing to talk to anyone about the investigation. The years have faded Rogge's memories about the timeline of 11-22-63, but his descriptions of Lee Oswald's personality are vivid. And to the lawman, Oswald's character is the strongest argument against conspiracy. "Oswald wanted to create a name for himself because he had nothing going for him in life," Rogge said. "If he had lived, he would have said, I made history and I did it myself.'" Rogge wants to be clear about this. Yes, there could have been a conspiracy in the killing of the president. But the investigation turned up zero evidence of collusion. Because I am with the majority of Americans who believe Oswald did not act alone, I peppered Rogge with questions. What of the reports, I asked him, of a shooter on the so-called grassy knoll? Credible people such as police officers and Secret Service agents reported they believed the assassin fired from that locale. Investigators, he told me, found absolutely no physical evidence of a weapon being fired. He remembers well the efforts made to do just that. Accusing a man does give you a window into his soul. But as long as Richard Rogge survives, we have a window of opportunity to reach better informed conclusions about what happened that day in Dallas. — E-mail this Star columnist at ccason@VenturaCountyStar.com." http://www.venturacountystar.com/news/2008...-in-the-dark-g/ Once again, that quote is: "We were open to the idea Oswald did not act alone. We investigated every rumor, every lead, and found no evidence," he said. But hey, he's open to being interviewed. FWIW. On the other hand I'm pleasantly surprised that a Colleen Cason seems to be a journalist who is open to the truth. (http://www.venturacountystar.com/staff/colleen-cason/contact/)
  17. Amazon lists this as an upcoming title: http://www.amazon.com/JFK-Unspeakable-Why-...4869&sr=1-2 "Madison, Wis. (March 11, 2008) – Author Jim Douglass will present a talk detailing his new book, JFK and the Unspeakable, Why He Died and Why It Matters, at Edgewood College. The presentation, which is open to the public, will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday April 17, 2008. The event is in Anderson Auditorium, and there is no admission charge. The author will be available to sign copies of his new book during a reception immediately after the presentation. The author calls his work “an experiment into the truth of John F. Kennedy’s assassination.” In the book, Douglass looks at that event in conjunction with the assassinations of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, and Robert F. Kennedy. Douglass says he’ll share some of what he’s discovered about these four events, which he says may be seen as part of the same astonishing story. He says the shared commitment to a vision of peace and justice involved great risk and suffering. And he argues, in the case of each visionary, there were fatal consequences of that commitment. A lifelong activist, and a strong proponent of a theology and lifestyle of non-violence, Douglass is co-founder of Mary’s House, a Catholic Worker house in Birmingham, Ala. http://wisbusiness.com/index.iml?Article=120539
  18. Trailer @ Article @ http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/eveningstanda...33390a6503.html "The assassination of JFK was one of those events that changed America and the way it is seen by the rest of the world," says Seamus. "The Big Three are JFK, Pearl Harbour and 9/11." In the years immediately following World War II America was everyone's friend and unquestionably The Good Guy, he says. Now, this has eroded to distrust and events such as the assassination and 9/11 have become wreathed in conspiracy theories. The result has been the birth of a conspiracy industry and the dehumanising of the victims, he says. Imagining The Kennedys seeks to offer a more humane alternative. The trio are quick to point out that their documentary doesn't set out to solve the "mysteries" proposed by the conspiracy theorists. Rather, it looks at the impact of the event on people like Seamus half a world away from the infamous Grassy Knoll. After being grounded in Palmerston North, "Imagining" takes Seamus to the United States where he visits arenas in which the Kennedys of the JFK era played out their lives. In Palmerston North, the impact of the assassination is recorded in street names such as John F Kennedy Drive, Connally Place and Langley Avenue. John Connally was a passenger in President Kennedy's car and was seriously injured by a bullet some say was fired 4.9 seconds after the president received his fatal head wound. At the time Connally was governor of Texas and Secretary of the Navy and the Treasury. Langley, Virginia, is where the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency is situated and the agency has continued to be linked with the conspiracy theories. ... "It's a personal story where we get to see things we have heard about and read about for years. It's not about solving the mystery of what happened. The mystery has been solved for me for quite some time." For the record he believes Oswald was set up to be caught as a cover for another shooter. ..."

  22. "Obama should not allow Hillary Clinton to claim the post of vice presidential nominee it will be a landslide victory for McCain in that case Sonia Chopra Mar. 7, 2008 You cannot become a vice presidential nominee when you call your presidential nominee less qualified than the rival McCain. A Hillary Clinton in the ticket also is a major physical threat to Obama. The history of 1960 can repeat. In 1960, the establishment never liked John F. Kennedy. They forced Johnson into the ticket. President Kennedy was assassinated a few years later and establishment won with Johnson as their new President for a long time. The history can repeat again with Hillary Clinton as the vice presidential nominee. The establishment and traditional especial interest driven Democrats are behind Clintons.
