As brief as they were, Oswald's remarks while in custody beginning with his initial confusion, followed by his anger when realizing that he was being used as a patsy are powerful and enigmatic to this day. One is left with the feeling that as Oswald realized he was in the process of being framed, he knew so much more than he was able to say. His tones of voice, his emotions, his body language, his pleas for representation, his emphatic denials seem real, not contrived.
