Yeeee hawwww. Although mostly known now for producing chips for large-screen TVs and cell phones, Texas Instruments was first called Geophysical Service Inc. (GSI), and it specialized in seismology equipment for finding oil. The crewman at the bottom right of the picture (with the scarf) operates a piece of equipment that records seismic signals reflected off a horizon deep in the earth. The photographed blast in the South Louisiana field was set intentionally.

That is how the FBI version of the meeting ends. According to a CIA document dated June 26, 1953, the following also occurred:

-

After leaving the FBI offices, BARRIOS and GATLIN met with a Mr. DUNBAR, who occasionally represents the United Fruit Co. in New Orleans. They asked for one million dollars from the United Fruit Co., in support of BARRIOS' intended revolutionary movement in Guatemala, but they were unsuccessful in obtaining any commitment.-

This seismograph was designed for the seismic refraction exploration method. The traveltime of seismic waves from a dynamite blast, in a borehole several feet below the earth's surface,

Any abnormal change in velocity along the travel path of the waves will alter the traveltime and, thus, indicate an anomalous rock type. The mechanical seismograph was employed in the 1920's and early 1930's (the initial period of geophysical petroleum exploration) almost exclusively for the detection of salt domes in the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast region.

Dynamite was manufactured by the DuPont Corporation until the mid-1970s. Dynamite was eventually phased out in favor of Water gel explosives, which is cheaper to manufacture and in many ways safer to handle. [3]

[edit] Difference from TNT

It is a common misconception that TNT and dynamite are the same thing. Though both are high explosives, there is no other similarity between them. Where dynamite is an absorbent mixture soaked in nitroglycerin, then compacted into a cylindrical shape and wrapped in paper, TNT is a specific chemical compound called trinitrotoluene

Despite this increasing diversification, DuPont continued to improve the production processes of high explosives, especially TNT,

Beautiful RARE proof specimen certificate from the Hercules Powder Company printed around 1920. This historic document and has a vignette of Hercules with club on left sholder. This has the printed signatures of the company's officers and is over 87 years old.

At the time of America's entrance into World War II, Hercules was the country's largest producer of naval stores and the third-largest producer of explosives

Certificate Vignette

In 1907, the Justice Department filed suit claiming that E. I. du Pont de Nemours was in violation of the Sherman Antitrust Act. This litigation was settled in 1912 when the company divested itself of its high explosives business and the Atlas and Hercules Powder Companies were set up as independent entities.

The Hercules Powder Company was one of the several small explosives companies acquired by the Du Pont Company in the 1880s. By the beginning of the 20th century, Du Pont had absorbed so many of its competitors that it was producing two-thirds of the dynamite and gunpowder sold in the United States. In 1912, a federal court, citing the Sherman Anti-Trust Act, ordered Du Pont broken up. It was through this court-ordered action that the Hercules Powder Company was reborn, a manufacturer of explosives ostensibly separate from Du Pont.

The division of the Du Pont Company into Du Pont, Atlas Powder Company, and Hercules Powder Company was intended to foster competition in the explosives industry, but in reality the antitrust agreement allowed the connection between Hercules and the parent company to remain intact. The new company was staffed by executives who had been transplanted from the Du Pont headquarters across the street into the main offices of Hercules in Wilmington, Delaware. As Fortune magazine remarked in 1935, "The Hercules headquarters is in Wilmington and breathes heavily Dupontizied air." Not only did the Du Pont family retain a substantial financial interest in Hercules, but as late as 1970 the president of Hercules was related to the Du Pont family.

Some conspiracy theorists claim that, according to documents found at Auschwitz, the DuPont chemical manufacturer clearly made and delivered Zyklon B and that, along with two German firms, Tesch/Stabenow and Degesch, they produced Zyklon B gas after they acquired the patent from Farben.

The Alfred I. duPont Testamentary Trust is created after the death of Alfred I. duPont in 1935. The assets placed into the Trust include shares of E.I. duPont de Nemours and Company, seven Florida National Banks, thousands of acres of land in Northwest Florida and the estates of Nemours and Epping Forest. The fair market value is approximately $40 million. The duPont Trustees create the St. Joe Paper Company and begin operations of its paper mill in Port St. Joe in 1938. By 1939, the fair market value of the trust is $72.5 million. The duPont Trust, through its ownership of St. Joe Paper and led by Edward Ball, continues to acquire land in Northwest Florida. Throughout the 1940s and '50s, St. Joe also acquired a number of corrugated box plants from New Jersey to Texas to Ireland. After a protracted legal battle, Ball, on behalf of the duPont Trust, acquires the Florida East Coast Railway Company in 1960. The railroad, founded by Henry Flagler, operates between Jacksonville and Miami. A new federal law in 1966 prohibits organizations like the Alfred I. duPont Testamentary Trust to own both banks and operating companies. The duPont Trust decided to sell its ownership of Florida National Banks in order to keep St. Joe Paper and Florida East Coast Railway. St. Joe Paper acquires Talisman Sugar Company in Belle Glade, Florida in 1972.

DuPont Representative. The four most important facts about the DuPont Empire are:

a. that it controls General Motors, owning $197 million of General Motors stock;

b. that it financed the Liberty League, Sentinels, Crusaders and one dozen native American fascist outfits;

c. that it knowingly and secretly and in violation of the U. S. and other laws, aided Hitler to arm for this war;

d. that the DuPonts betrayed military secrets to Hitler.

One great cartel of the merchants of death is called Dynamit-AktienGesellschaft (DAG). Exhibit 456 in the Nye-Vandenberg munitions investigation shows that DuPonts not only own stock but a voting right and a voice in the management of the cartel. Exhibit 456 also shows DuPont has a financial interest in I. G. Farbenindustrie, the Nazi cartel which ties up with the Aluminum monopoly, Standard Oil, synthetic rubber, Sterling and other drug concerns.

Thurman Arnold reported on June 3 that the Department of Justice had “discovered last week” a list of 162 agreements between IG Farbenindustrie, the German chemical trust, and American corporations. In his March 26 report to the Truman Committee on the Standard Oil-Nazi patents-pool conspiracy, Arnold had to admit

“There is no essential difference between what Standard Oil has done in this case and what other companies did in restricting the production of magnesium, aluminum, tungsten carbide, drugs, dyestuffs and a variety of other critical materials vital for the war.”

Perhaps the most glaring example is tetracene, the best and most easily produced chemical agent for ammunition priming. The tetracene patents are jointly owned by Remington Arms, a du Pont subsidiary, and IG Farben. According to the agreement between the two, Remington could not license the United States and British governments to produce tetracene, nor could Remington or any of its private licensees produce tetracene to be used for war purposes by the American government or “in ammunition sold to the British government.”

Standard’s agreements with IG Farben covered acetylene and acetic acid, best and cheapest raw material base for rayons, plastics, paints, dyes and other important chemical products. Jasco, Inc., a holding company owned jointly by Standard and its Nazi cartel partner, had built an acetylene plant in Baton Rouge. At the behest of IG Farben, the plant had been closed down prior to the outbreak of war between Germany and Britain. Subsequently, Standard agreed to the complete demolition of the plant, through an agreement signed after the outbreak of war on Dec. 1, 1939. The Standard officials sought to cover up their tracks by pre-dating the agreement back to August 31, 1939, the day before war was declared

The role played by the American monopolies, headed by the duPont, Morgan, Rockefeller, Lamont and other industrial baronial families, in financing German heavy industry and establishing the closest ties between American and German industry is well known. The leading American monopolies had intimate connections with German heavy industrial, armament and banking concerns. DuPont de Nemours, the leading American chemical concern and one of the biggest shareholders in General Motors, and the British Imperial Chemical Industries maintained close industrial relations with the German chemical concern I. G. Farbenindustrie, with which in 1926 they concluded a cartel agreement for the ‘division of the world powder market. Before the war the president of Robin and Haas, Philadelphia (U.S.A.), was a partner of the head of the same company in Darmstadt (Germany). Incidentally, the former director of this concern, Rudolf Muller, is now active in Bizonia and is a prominent figure in the leading circles of the Christian Democratic Union. The German capitalist Schmitz, president of I. G. Farbenindustrie and a member of the board of the Deutsche Bank, from 1931 to 1939 controlled the General Dyestuffs Corporation, an American firm. After the Munich conference (1938), American Standard Oil signed a contract with I. G. Farbenindustrie, under which the latter was given a share in the profits from the production of aviation petrol in the United States, in return for which it willingly agreed to cease exporting from Germany its own synthetic petrol, which Germany was stocking for war purposes.

and grandson of German immigrant (and his wife) John Blaffer, from Bremen, Hanover, Germany.

Of which John A. Blaffer's brother served in the Louisiana "Washington's Artillery", Commanded by Charles E. Fenner, in whose home President Jefferson Davis died, as well as being a forerunner in the founding of the law firm which became "Phelps, Dunbar, Marks, Sims, & Claverie".

The company was reorganized in 1917 and incorporated on June 21 as the Humble Oil and Refining Company with a capitalization of $1 million based on 40,000 shares at $100 par value. The original company resulted from the collaboration of Ross S. Sterling and Walter William Fondrenqqv with Robert L. Blaffer and William Stamps Farish

In the new organization were merged the Paraffine Oil Company, Blaffer and Farish, Schulz Oil Company, Ardmore Oil Company, and Globe Refining Company. In February 1919, Humble doubled the number of shares authorized and sold 50 percent of its stock to Standard Oil Company of New Jersey. This initiated Humble's long-term connection with the company that eventually absorbed it as Exxon Company, U.S.A. Standard Oil of New Jersey was identified as the particular target of antitrust enforcers in Texas in the early decades of the twentieth century, and the corporation found it much easier to do business in the state through Humble, its partially owned but autonomously directed affiliate. In 1948 Humble had issued a total of eighteen million shares with a total capitalization of $475 million; Standard Oil Company of New Jersey owned 72 percent of the stock

Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. But before that I was in Texas and worked for Humble Oil Co.

Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. Well, I went by bus--to Texas by bus. But what actually helped me was that my sister-in-law, my wife's sister, had a very, very close friend in Louisiana, Mrs. Margaret Clark--Margaret Clark Williams, who had large oil properties, large estates in Louisiana. That is about the year 1939.

I got to Louisiana, as the guest, I remember--with my sister-in-law's aunt, Mrs. Edwards. And then I looked the situation around in New Orleans and decided to apply for a job with Humble Oil Co.

Mr. JENNER. In New Orleans?

Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. No. They had a branch office in New Orleans, but I had to apply for a job in Houston. So I went to Houston, and I applied for a job with Mr. Suman, who is vice president of Humble Oil Co. Also I met the chairman of the board of the Humble Oil Co. through mutual acquaintances.

Mr. JENNER. Did you return to Louisiana and do some work there?

Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. Yes; I worked in Terebonne Parish, on a rig.

Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. Probably in 1939. And I got amoebic dysentery in Louisiana, and got very sick. I had an accident on the rig, was badly cut up-- something fell on my arm, and then I got dysentery. And, frankly, I do not recall whether they fired me or I resigned myself. I do not remember. Maybe both-- resigned and mutual agreement. But I remained very good friends with the chairman of the board of the company, Mr. Blaffer. And he gave me the idea already then to go in the oil business on my own. He says, "George, a man of your background and education, you should be working for yourself," and he explained to me the fundamentals of the oil promotion, if you know what I mean---drill wells, get a lease-- drill a well, find some money to drill that well.

Well, I said, "Mr. Blaffer, frankly it is a little above me to go in so early in my experience in the United States--to go into that type of business. I don't think I am capable enough to do that."

Mr. JENNER. Your Louisiana experience?

Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. Louisiana, Texas, the same company.

http://www.beyondweird.com/ufos/Bruce_Walt...nvasion_12.html

On March 25, 1942, U.S. Assistant Attorney General Thurman Arnold

announced that William Stamps Farish (grandfather of the President's

money manager) had pleaded "no contest" to charges of criminal

conspiracy with the Nazis. Farish was the principal manager of a

worldwide cartel between STANDARD OIL CO. of NEW JERSEY and

the I.G. FARBEN concern. The merged enterprise HAD OPENED the

Auschwitz slave labor camp on June 14, 1940, to produce artificial rubber

and gasoline from coal. The Hitler government supplied political opponents

and Jews as the slaves, who were worked to near death and then murdered.

Arnold disclosed that Standard Oil of New Jersey (later known as EXXON),

of which Farish was president and chief executive, had agreed to stop

hiding from the United States patents for artificial rubber which the company

had provided to the Nazis. Note #4

A Senate investigating committee under Senator (later U.S. President)

Harry Truman of Missouri had called Arnold to testify at hearings on

corporations' collaboration with the Nazis. The Senators expressed

outrage at the cynical way Farish was continuing an alliance with the

Hitler regime that had begun back in 1933, when Farish became chief

of Jersey Standard. Didn't he know there was a war on?

The Justice Department laid before the committee a letter, written

to Standard president Farish by his vice president, shortly after the

beginning of World War II (September 1, 1939) in Europe. The letter

concerned a renewal of their earlier agreements with the Nazis:

----------

I required help to obtain the necessary permission to go to Holland....

After discussions with the [American] Ambassador [Joseph Kennedy]

Very truly yours, F[rank] A. Howard Note #5

Note: One just may want to GOOGLE "Frank A. Howard" and Standard Oil.

Note #b|When grandfather Farish signed the Justice Department's

consent decree in March 1942, the government had already started

picking its way through the tangled web of world-monopoly oil and

chemical agreements between Standard Oil and the Nazis. Many

patents and other Nazi-owned aspects of the partnership had been

seized by the U.S. Alien Property Custodian.

As previously shown!

http://www.archives.gov/iwg/declassified-r...records-02.html

The Farish family was devastated by the exposure. Son William Stamps

Farish, Jr., a lieutenant in the Army Air Force, was humiliated by the

public knowledge that his father was fueling the enemy's aircraft; he

died in a training accident in Texas six months later. Note #2 Note #0

With this double death, the fortune comprising much of Standard Oil's

profits from Texas and Nazi Germany was now to be settled upon the

little four-year-old grandson, William ("Will") Stamps Farish III. Will

Farish grew up a recluse, the most secretive multimillionaire in Texas,

with investments of "that money" in a multitude of foreign countries,

and a host of exotic contacts overlapping the intelligence and financial

worlds -- particularly in Britain.

"By 1904 Farish saw the potential of oil, and paired with Robert Lee Blaffer".

Actually, it is "Robert E. Lee Blaffer", born New Orleans, LA, son of New Orleans businessman John A. Blaffer,

and grandson of German immigrant (and his wife) John Blaffer, from Bremen, Hanover, Germany.

Will

Farish grew up a recluse, the most secretive multimillionaire in Texas,

with investments of "that money" in a multitude of foreign countries,

and a host of exotic contacts overlapping the intelligence and financial

worlds -- particularly in Britain.

http://www.sjcite.info/popcontrol.html

In 1939, Farish's daughter Martha married Averell Harriman's nephew, Edward Harriman Gerry; Farish in-laws became Prescott Bush's partners at 59 Broadway. Both Emil Helfferich & Karl Lindemann were authorized to write checks to Nazi S.S. chief Heinrich Himmler on a special Standard Oil account. This account was managed by German-British-American banker, Kurt von Schroeder. Per U.S. intelligence documents reviewed by author Anthony Sutton, Emil Helfferich continued his payments to the S.S. into 1944, when the S.S. was supervising mass murder at Standard-I.G. Farben Auschwitz & other death camps. Helfferich told Allied interrogators after the war that these were not his personal contributions; they were corporate Standard Oil funds.

I have never been in the limelight and have nothing to lose. I can remain active in a quiet way. I should like to offer to keep the files. E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (NYSE: DDPRA, NYSE: DDPRB, NYSE: DD) is an American chemical company that was founded in July 1802 as a gunpowder mill by Eleuthère Irénée du Pont. DuPont is currently the world's second largest chemical company

------------------------------------------------

http://heritage.dupont.com/floater/fl_expl...s/floater.shtml

In 1802 E.I. du Pont founded his company solely as an explosives manufacturer.

By the late 19th century, DuPont was experimenting with new explosives technology first developed in Europe. In 1867 Swedish inventor Alfred Nobel successfully stabilized nitroglycerin to create dynamite, a high explosive providing three times the power of black powder. Unable to convince company president Henry du Pont to begin dynamite operations, Lammot entered the business independently when he organized the Repauno Chemical Company in 1880. Repauno was later fully incorporated into DuPont and became the world’s largest producer of dynamite by the 1920s. Even more important for DuPont’s future was the discovery by European chemists of guncotton; a highly explosive material derived from nitrated cotton, or nitrocellulose. By the 1880s, researchers had successfully changed guncotton into a smokeless powder that was superior to black powder. DuPont first made smokeless powder in the 1890s for sport shooting and soon developed a military grade version. The company would become the world’s largest producer of the explosive during World War I.

Although World War I resulted in unprecedented explosives production, DuPont had already begun to diversify into non-explosives. When the du Pont cousins bought the company in 1902, they sought new uses for the raw materials of explosives, particularly in the production of lacquers, paints and coated textiles. This move toward diversification was furthered by a 1912 antitrust decision, which deemed DuPont a gunpowder monopoly and ordered the company to divest itself of a substantial portion of its explosives business.

Despite this increasing diversification, DuPont continued to improve the production processes of high explosives, especially TNT,

following the war. Overall, however, a shift in focus to peacetime products like textiles and industrial chemicals

Irrelevant as to whether utilizing "GeoScience" in looking for mineral resources, or (for those who did not get to visit SE Asia), making bullets and bombs.

Neither works very well without without the powder/dynamite/TNT/AKA Chemical Explosives necessary to accomplish the task.

5900 Lemmon Ave is the address of Texas Instruments in Dallas. I worked at this building for a number of years in fact.

It's also the location where "Jada" ran over Charlie Burns with her Cadillac the morning of 11/22/63 just hours before JFK's motorcade drove by this very building on his way to historical immortality.

I believe one of the "postings" demonstrated that the 5900 vicinity went from GeoServices to TI.

And, those who have some limited experience with soils remediation are also aware that quite a cleanup had to finally occur in that area as well.

http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0EI..._25/ai_54202249

Dallas Jury Awards $23.3 Million Against Texas Instruments For Toxic Contamination of Eagle Family Property; Chemical Contamination Spread to Surrounding Property

The jury found that TI had negligently allowed toxic chemicals used in its manufacturing operations to contaminate the soil and groundwater at its former site at 6000 Lemmon Ave.

I don't know where you're headed with this "explosive" thread, but a couple of address caught my eye.

Kind of like lHO, merely moving back and forth between New Orleans and Dallas.

By the way, just in case you were not aware of it. The wife of Horatio Eustis Reily was from Dallas.

So, one can in all probability place him in that "back and forth" mode as well.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Additionally, one can, if they so desire, believe in the "Coincidence" aspects of Good ole George's association to the search for oil, as well as his "get out of town" trip to Haiti.

But as for me, just not that gullible.

http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/russ/testimony/demohr_g.htm

Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. And excuse me. I am also employing American geologists there, and I am responsible for them and their families. I have several Haitian engineers and geologists working there. So it is not a fly-by-night project, you see.

Because this job I have there in Haiti is a result of many years of work, preparation, and it is important for me. It involves a considerable amount of money, $285,000, and further development, mining and oil development, which goes with it--and preparation of this job started already in 1947, when I first came to Haiti, and went several times subsequently and worked there. It is a long-term approach that I have started, because I like the country, and I think it has excellent oil possibilities, and I finally got that contract about in March last year.

5900 Lemmon Ave and 6000 Lemmon Ave addresses are for the same building. The Eagle properties ran north from Atwell Street. Right now, there is a Home Depot between Attwell and Haggar, but it used to be an Eagle car dealer. They still have property north of Haggar. I'm guessing the contamination problem was discovered when Home Depot started building their store, or during the buying of the property.

This building on Lemmon used to be the headquarters of TI and GSI back in the early days of the companies, and in fact, their only building at first. For most of those years until the present it's been a machine shop and the contaminants are coolants involved with metal cutting plus chemicals involved in treating metal parts. It's not surprising that 50+ years of manufacturing would let large amounts of coolant seep into the ground around the plant.

It should be noted that Raytheon bought the defense division of TI back in 1997, and that included the Lemmon Ave. building, but operations at that facility didn't change one bit. We still cut the same parts for the same customer. Only the name on the outside of the building (and the name on the paychecks) changed.

Texas Instruments used to be GSI (Geophysical Services Inc.). I've never heard of GEOTECHNICAL CORPORATION or GEOMARINE SERVICE INTERNATIONAL INC. That is what caught my eye when you made the posts. I was just trying to supply some background information about the addresses you listed and I wasn't intending to divert attention from your posts. The part about 'Jada' was merely an interesting sidenote about the area.

And, that "background information" constitutes additional knowledge on the subject matter and is quite proper as well as appreciated, as would be any other tidbit of information.

I then went to work at age 17, not quite 17, for one of the biggest corporation lawyers in New Orleans, La. The name then was DuFour, Rosen, Wolff, and Kammer. Mr. DuFour died while I was there and Mr. Kammer, I believe, is still living but they were corporation attorneys for that firm plus 4 or 5 other attorneys that handled divorce cases and similar cases and I was receptionist in the outer office.

As a final note before proceeding on, Mr. John W. Sims was a member of the quite prestegious "The National Society

Magna Charta Dames and Barons", which included into it's membership none other than Mr. D. H. Byrd, owner of the TSDB.

Mr. Byrd's membership came through the marriage into the wealth of Mrs. David H. Byrd/aka the Caruth family.

I will continue with the "split" of GSI later. For those who have been following along, perhaps the "direct" connection to the TSDB may now be of some assistance in this matter.
