I was trying to get a good look at President Kennedy. I happened to be looking right at him when that bullet hit him - the second shot.

Mr. LIEBELER - That was when the bullet hit him in the head; is that correct?

Mr. HUDSON - Yes; it looked like it ht him somewhere along about a little bit behind the ear and a little bit above the ear.

Mr. LIEBELER - On the right-hand side or the left-hand side?

There was not another shot fired after the President was struck in the head. That was the last shot--that much I will say with a great degree of certainty.

There was flesh particles that flew out of the side of his head in my direction from where I was standing,

I know that it would be right at 15 feet, because I had prefocused in that area, and I had my camera almost to my eye when it happened and that's as far as I got with my camera.

* If one will take the time and effort to Read Nellie Connally's book, several days after the assassination, she sat down and wrote her memories. In them, she clearly states that JBC had been pulled down into her lap at the time that she heard the third shot and the brain matter was blown all over them.

And YES! The survey stationing positioning is the exact same for the SS & FBI assassination re-enactments, as it was for the WC re-enactment.

Which by the way, the SS as well as the FBI determined that the third shot impact was at stationing 4+95, directly in front of James Altgens.

And , it would be extremely difficult to confuse things since in Z313 the yellow curb mark is behind the Presidential Limo, and at the Altgens position, the yellow curb mark is still in front of JFK's position and approximately 3 to 5 feet farther down past James Altgens location.

It was at this moment that I heard a second report and it appeared that the President's head split open with a muffled exploding sound. I can best describe the sound as I heard it, as the sound you would get by shooting a high powered bullet into a five gallon can of water or shooting into a melon. I saw pieces of flesh and blood flying through the air and the President slumped out of sight towards Mrs. Kennedy.

My immediate thought was that the President could not possibly be alive after being hit like he was. I still was not certain from which direction the second shot came, but my reaction at this time was that the shot came from somewhere towards the front, right-hand side of the road.

Perhaps placement in "bold" would be of some assistance!
