John Dolva
I stayed well away from any celebrations and instead went last night early worning to visit Bon. It was very touching. Others had had the same thought and a beautiful shrine of all sorts of objects from flowers to photos to tapes to a teddy bear (and lots of signed bottles of Scotch Whiskey) His plaque is so ordinary and subdued and the respect shown to what may be the second most visited muscicians grave in the world was poignant. John Dolva
Well, I did get to se a bit of the ACDC concert. As I was a boy I lived a stonesthrow from the WACA and also a short bicycle ride/walk to kings park and there is a part where you can partly look down into the arena. Certainly you can see the lightshow. When they did High Voltage they and the audeience really took off. I never been much of a fan of post bon ACDC but that one they did well. Just another revisit: high voltage Edited March 14, 2010 by John Dolva

John Dolva
Just another revisit: high voltage this time in honor of my father (wwii vet) who survived badly disfigured in parts a 10 000 volt hit as a spanner slipped in a substation and hit a supposedly broken cirquit which wasn't and survived because at that moment his right elbow hit earth and his skin was sweat covered and his work mates dragged him out of the smoke filled station. We used to have raging arguments about democratic socialism a la palme and co and communism. Anyway, here's to you dad. That's second time they've shifted the URL to that one oh erll, here's the one I keep trying to post/find. It teels something important. This was melbourne not long before i used to drive those street from fitzroy to fishermans bend. One thing I like about this video is the participation by members of his dads pipe band. Ties run deep in Australia. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UaJ9UKM7kk Edited April 3, 2010 by John Dolva
