Peter McGuire Posted August 8, 2010 Share Posted August 8, 2010 (edited) I stumbled into a send off of the area's National Guard today. It was really encouraging considering the turnout for not just the families, but just as many who like me, had no one presently in the Guard. I don't know what else to say, but it was great hearing the National Anthem, invocation and one speaker. (I had waited and hour and a half for the program to start, not knowing from the program when it would start and not thinking that the folks I followed in would come so soon - so I left after that one speaker) Good to see this though.
