Steve Thomas
Has anyone in here seen this document? AGENCY INFORMATION AGENCY : CIA RECORD NUMBER : 104-10010-10034 RECORDS SERIES : JFK AGENCY FILE NUMBER : 201-289248 DOCUMENT INFORMATION ORIGINATOR : CIA FROM : ROCCA, RAYMOND G., C/CI/R&A, CIA TO : ROCCA, RAYMOND, C/CI/R&A, CIA TITLE : [RESTRICTED] DATE : 03/01/1965 PAGES : 2 DOCUMENT TYPE : PAPER, TEXTUAL DOCUMENT SUBJECTS : WC; FBI AGENT LHO CLASSIFICATION : UNCLASSIFIED RESTRICTIONS : 1A; 1B CURRENT STATUS : RELEASED WITH DELETIONS DATE OF LAST REVIEW : 06/21/1993 COMMENTS : OSW15:V56 1993.06.21.18:32:01:250310: I'm wondering why: 1) Raymond Rocca wrote this to himself and not "for the file"; and, 2) He wrote this in March of 1965 - over a year after Henry Wade flew to Washington to brief the members of the WC in January, 1964 that he had received information that Oswald had been on the FBI's payroll. Surely this had been debunked by official Washington by 1965; and, 3) The title's restricted, and it was only released "with deletions."
