Gil Jesus
In an interview you won't see on any of the Von Pein internet sites, Jesse Ventura interviews Vincent Bugliosi. Bugliosi tells the camerman to "turn it off" several times. Typical of LNers, there's always something they don't want you to know.

David Von Pein
In an interview you won't see on any of the Von Pein internet sites... Dead wrong. I posted my Jesse Ventura piece on 11/24/10, which includes video of the complete "Conspiracy Theory" JFK episode (mainly for the many laughs [and CT myths] it contains): http://JFK-Archives.blogspot.com/2010/11/jesse-ventura.html Edited December 4, 2010 by David Von Pein
Michael Hogan
What is so interesting about this is the following: 1. Bugliosi starts with a non sequitir. That is , if you were going to kill Kennedy, why would you hire Oswald? What critic believes that, except for maybe Blakey, who was not really a critic, but a CYA guy. 2. Vince then tried to belittle Jesse for not knowing a lot or having read a lot, but Jesse comes right back with a good rejoinder: Oswald would be the perfect guy to frame in this situation while you have true marksmen do the shooting. So what does then VInce say? But Oswald had no connections to any of the suspect groups. Very aptly, Jesse starts rolling his eyes at this. For this is nothing but balderdash of the worst sort. Jesse very rightly brings up George DeM for one. Who actually said that he was told by the CIA station chief in Dallas/Fort Worth to meet Oswald upon his return from Russia. According to DIck RUssell, George and his wife were filing reports with military intelligence. George was then in contact with both military intel and the CIA before his trip to Haiti. But that is just for starters. About both DeM (Jesse did not even get to his death) and LHO and his CIA contacts, which are pretty lengthy. 3. So what does VInce now do: he pleads to authority. In this case the WC and the HSCA. Hey why not the FBI VInce? Again, Jesse rolls his eyes. Very aptly. Vince then demands the camera stop running. I thought this was very iconic of this whole debate. See, these were not difficult questions Jesse was asking. And they go to the heart of the matter of: Who was Oswald? When we got to this point in my McAdams debate, this is when McAdams started lying his head off: about the Kurtz book, about Dan Campbell etc. This is what a loser this part of the debate is: Vince begs off, McAdams starts prevaricating in high gear. Because the evidence for this is now pretty overwhelming that Oswald is not, and was not, what the WC said he was. And let me add: In Fonzi's sterling book, he talks about the debate that took place inside the HSCA before the final report was written over this issue. Clearly, the staff investigators had come to believe that the WCR was wrong about Oswald. They peppered Blakey with evidence indicating Oswald was some kind of intelligence operative. But no matter how much evidence they threw at him, Blakey would not relent. And its pretty obvious why not. Its one of the keystones of the case that causes the whole lying WCR to collapse. Along with CE 399, and the avulsive wound in the rear of the skull. And Blakey did his CYA on both of those also. To the point that he let everyone go and he and Billings and two other trusted aides wrote the Final Report. Jesse acquitted himself well here. And this indicates just how HBO is going to have to shield Vince on their show. He won't be able to handle these kinds of rather easy and elementary questions. So it will have to be a set-up type of format, with lobbing of softballs at him. It would be interesting to see what made the cutting room floor, particularly if the cameras kept rolling after Bugliosi put his hand in front of one. I think Dick Russell has been a good influence on Jesse Ventura. Bugliosi came across quite poorly, to say the least.

Guest Robert Morrow
Check out the reading list of US intelligence agent Lee Harvey Oswald while he was in New Orleans, summer 1963. He is reading Russian dissident Alexander Solzhenitsyn! Not exactly pro-commie. And John F. Kennedy's Profile in Courage ... and a bunch of James Bond books that basically glorify Western intelligence agents (which he was one, imho). http://www.lee-harvey-oswald.com/images/Lee_Harvey_Oswald_and_His_Reading_Habits_in_New_Orleans.pdf
