Dear Family,

As you all know, I am madly in love with your children. Their health and their future is of the utmost importance to me. In fact, there is nothing more important to me than their future well being.

That said, we need to talk.

As you all know your father and I have been closely involved in the medical profession for most of our adult lives. During the past 40 years we have observed – from front row seats – many changes in how medicine is practiced.

As a reminder, here is a brief synopsis of your father’s medical career:

Your father and I have had many discussions regarding the medical profession over the years, as you know. It is safe to say that both of us were well trained and indoctrinated in the ‘field of medicine’ which sadly has now become an ‘industry’. In 2009 the H1N1 ‘pandemic’ caught my attention and I started doing independent research regarding vaccines. I made many rather uncomfortable discoveries which were impossible to ignore. To share these discoveries – which few if any others were researching in Ohio – I started a web site: For Ohioans Not only did I learn about vaccines, I learned a lot about our so-called government.

What I discovered shouldn’t shock you too much, but hopefully will help you understand my grave concerns regarding the health and safety of your children (my much adored grandchildren) when you put them in the hands of the medical-industrial complex.

1) Over the past 40 years Big Pharma and big corporate medical enterprises – like OhioHealth and OSU – have colluded to change medicine into a massive for-profit enterprise. This for-profit enterprise system includes the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). All three are listed as private for-profit corporations on Dunn and Bradstreet.

2) Physicians are trained during medical school to respect these ‘institutions’ (FDA, CDC, & NIH) and most never challenge this indoctrination. They naively rely on these quasi government ‘institutions’ for accurate information regarding the safety and effectiveness of drugs and therapies. The assumptions our well indoctrinated physicians make about these mammoth (for profit) agencies are false, dangerous and many times deadly to their patients. For example, the CDC establishes recommendations for the administration of vaccines. But, who is in charge of the CDC? Here is a brief handout explaining how Big Pharma controls both the CDC and the World Health Organization.

3) To understand the vaccine issue, it is also important to know that Congress gave Big Pharma total immunity from any liability regarding vaccine injuries (including death) back in 1982. Recently your father went to a Continuing Medical Education course. A gynecologist told the room of physicians that Gardasil is an important vaccine and that it is both safe and effective. Your father was the only one in the room to even question the speaker about this dangerous unnecessary vaccine. This should prove to you all how indoctrinated the vast majority of physicians have become. Not only that, according to your father the insurance company reimbursement rate is higher for physicians who manage to get ALL of their patients to accept ALL CDC recommended vaccines. If you are uncomfortable opposing the recommendations of your physician, just ask nicely for the package insert provided by the drug company. Tell the physician that you wish to take it home and read it and will get back to him/her with your decision. Stand firm, as he/she has a monetary ($$$) reason to convince you to allow your children to be vaccinated. Your father will be glad to explain any medical terms you don’t understand OR you can locate a medical dictionary at the public library and look them up yourselves. We have complete confidence, that if you take the time to READ the warnings about vaccines, you will do everything in your power to protect the children from them.

CDC Votes in Favor of a Flu Vaccination Assault on Americans’ Health

A central principle of democracy is freedom of choice. We can choose our political party, our religion, and the food we eat, but this does not seem to be the case when it comes to our medical choices and our freedoms to make them.

The recent unanimous 11-0 vote by the members of the Centers for Disease Control’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) favoring every American over the age of six months receive the flu influenza vaccine is one more attempt by our federal health officials to open up our bodies to the free market capitalism of pharmaceutical coffers. It is another step to mandate a vaccine across the nation, a policy that has many supporters in the pro-vaccine science community.

The vote raises an alarm about our federal government’s scientific integrity, and calls into question its true allegiance and purpose: to protect the health of American citizens or increase Big Pharma profits. If the recommendation were ever enforced, the US would be the only nation in the world with mandatory flu vaccination. However, what our investigations show and what differentiates the US health agencies from the health ministries in other nations, is that in the US federal health system Big Pharma money, lobbying and corporate favors are what shape drug and vaccine policies and this is rampant throughout the system.

Mandatory vaccines fail in Japan

Mandatory influenza vaccination has been tried before across a nation. During the 1980s, Japan had mandatory flu vaccination for school children. Two large scale studies that enrolled children from four cities with vaccination rates between 1 and 90 percent discovered no difference in the incidences of flu infection. As a result, in 1987, Japanese health authorities ruled that flu vaccination was ineffective and was no more than a serious financial and legal liability if it was to continue. The mandatory policy was quickly overturned. By 1989, the number of Japanese taking the flu vaccine dropped to 20 percent. A follow up study at that time found that there was statistically insignificant change in influenza infection rates compared to when the vaccine was mandatory.[1]

Now we are hearing that for the forthcoming 2010-2011 flu season, the H1N1 flu strain will be included in the seasonal flu vaccine. This will be a quadravalent vaccine comprised of four strains including the H1N1. As of this month, the World Health Organization (WHO) continues to evaluate the H1NI virus at a 5 level pandemic and issues warnings to deaf ears now that people realize the WHO’s word is disreputable. Nevertheless, we should still brace ourselves for another year of old yarn, fear-mongering, media spin and more voodoo science.

A brief overview of the past H1N1 pandemic boondoggle will help us to understand the addiction of denial permeating the ranks of the CDC’s advisory committee. It presents a picture of a delusional bubble, unrelated to medical facts, that the CDC has found comfort to float within. The simple fact remains that the CDC is disconnected from anything resembling legitimate science thereby making their recent decision ludicrous and criminally irresponsible.

The CDC’s predictions of particular strains during past flu seasons has never been especially accurate. In fact, often it has been extraordinarily dismal. The previous swine flu prediction in 1976 resulted in only one swine flu death but hundreds of people suffering permanent disabilities, including death, from the vaccine. For the 1992-1993 flu season, the prediction made for the virus used in the vaccine was off by 84 percent. For the 1994-1995 season, it was off by 43 percent for the primary strain targeted and off 87 percent and 76 percent for the other two strains. The Laboratory Center for Disease Control’s study comparing vaccine strains with the strains appearing during the 1997-1998 season found the match off by 84 percent. One would achieve a greater accuracy rate by simply flipping a coin.

The CDC's scare tactics

An article published in the prestigious British Medical Journal in 2005, “Are US Flu Death Figures More PR Than Science” is apropos for addressing the wildly inflated figures by the WHO and CDC to present their case for mass vaccination measures. The article begins, “US data on influenza deaths are a mess.” The study reviews the CDC’s own statistical data and finds numerous inconsistencies and incompatibilities between “official estimates and national vital statistics data.” Although the government’s predictions never came close to the “dire outcomes” stated by our health officials, the CDC’s own communication strategy was marked by high levels of fear.[2]

The US government’s assessment of the past H1N1 scare is another example of flawed science and incompetence. In last August’s issue of USA Today, the White House’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, which receives its recommendations from the CDC, warned us that the H1N1 would kill between 30-90,000 American citizens. At the same time, the CDC was predicting 2 million people would be infected and as high as 40 percent of the entire population. The WHO, which sleeps in the same bed with the CDC in their shared complexes in Atlanta, was screaming figures of 7.5 million deaths worldwide. Consequently, the FDA fast-tracked swine flu vaccines manufactured by 5 different drug makers, none which met reliable standards of viable clinical testing and data to determine their efficacy and safety.

And pregnant women, young children and the elderly were primary targets -- those also most susceptible to serious vaccine adverse reactions. Over $1.6 billion tax dollars went to Big Pharma on orders of 229 million doses, of which only 90 million were actually administered and the remaining 71 million left to decompose on shelves or dump off on poorer nations out of the graciousness of the American philanthropic spirit.

However, as we witnessed in 2009 and the early months of 2010, people woke up to the false alarm of a swine flu pandemic. Often intuition is better suited to sniff out a hoax and scandal than the pseudo-science our federal health officials give obeisance to behind closed door conference rooms. And in the case of the so-called H1N1 pandemic, intuition proved correct. Our health agencies’ warnings and numbers propagandized over mainstream media simply did not add up and have been consistently found to be contrary to more medically reliable and unbiased facts generated by independent sources without ties to the private vaccine manufacturers.

Whenever the CDC, the FDA and the US Department of Health and Human Services post figures, it is a prudent rule of thumb to be suspicious and investigate their accuracy. The fact of the matter is that the CDC is completely clueless about this past season’s flu infection rate and the number of deaths due to the H1N1 strain. Let us explain why.

No proper testing was ever conducted

Immediately following the WHO’s decision in May 2009 to cease laboratory testing of samples to determine the actual biological cause of infectious cases with influenza-like symptoms, the US followed suit. Therefore, no matter what they tell you, no matter what Dr. Gupta and other tools of the media and establishment have to say, no proper testing was performed. Only PCR technology can determine the actual subset of a Type A flu strain, such as H1N1. But PCR diagnosis was not routinely performed in order to monitor and track rates and the spread of infection. By its own admission, a CDC report found that rapid influenza kits used in hospitals and clinics were wrong as much as nine out of ten times, and on average between 40-69 percent. The CDC determined that the instant tests are “not highly worthwhile for diagnosing H1N1 infections.”

So why would any organization responsible for the tracking of an infectious disease believed to be a global health threat, potentially threatening the lives of millions of people, make such a decision to not carefully monitor flu infections is beyond comprehension, unless it knowingly determined, with malice of forethought, that the H1N1 strain was mild and not a national danger. And many independent experts in infectious diseases had been stating this throughout the season but our health agencies preferred to ignore their warnings.

Yet it is the reported death rates due to H1N1 infection that seriously call the CDC’s integrity into question. According to the CDC reports, anywhere between 8,870 and 18,300 Americans died from swine flu. For the sake of simplicity, the health feds conveniently circulate the figure of 12,000 deaths.

Projections in the UK were equally off the mark. The British Ministry of Health was expecting 65,000 deaths, but reported only 500 towards the season’s end. British citizens, however, were better informed of the scandalous hoax and of the 110 million vaccine doses purchased, under contracts amounting to over $864 million to the drug makers (not including national preparatory measures bringing the total to over $1 billion for a small population), only 6 million Brits, approximately 10 percent, were vaccinated.

What figures does the World Health Organization report for the number of worldwide swine flu deaths? 18,036. That is correct, not millions. That is only 5 percent of the global figure for deaths associated with the regular seasonal flu. I don’t need an advanced degree to notice a grave discrepancy here, unless we are to believe that the H1N1 virus was on autopilot to target victims with American birth certificates or citizenship. But the reasons for the CDC’s erroneous numbers are quite easy to understand.

The CDC's flawed statistics

First, as mentioned, the CDC did not monitor the swine flu with any precision and accuracy. Our officials don’t have, and never had, the data to make any accurate determination.

Second, the CDC does not distinguish between deaths caused by an influenza virus and deaths due to pneumonia. The two are lumped together in their mortality statistics and pneumonia-related deaths are reported as having an initial influenza cause. For example, if we take the combined figure of flu and pneumonia deaths for the flu period of 2001, and spin the figures, we are left believing that 62,034 people died from influenza. The actual figures are 61,777 died from pneumonia and only 257 from flu.

Even more amazing, in those 257 cases, only 18 were scientifically identified as positive for the flu virus. These are the CDC’s own figures. But does the New York Times, Boston Globe, Washington Post and all the others report this? No. Do any of the puppets that mumble on television, with access to official sources and data, actually do their homework? No.

A separate study conducted by the National Center for Health Statistics for the flu periods between 1979 and 2002 reveals that the actual range of annual flu deaths were between 257 and 3006, for an average of 1,348 per year.[3] This is a far cry from the 36,000 annual flu deaths still found on the CDC’s website and vomited by the major media.

And here is the catch. If we apply the same criteria to determine the actual number of swine flu related deaths in 2009-2010, serious vaccine adverse effects, besides the hundreds of reported miscarriages, would far outweigh deaths and injury due to the virus.

Third, there are over 150 different viruses during any given flu season that can cause flu-like symptoms, such as adenovirus, parainfluenza, bocavirus, etc. Very few of these are ever tested. For example, in Canada where actual infection rates are more carefully monitored, during the 2004-2005 flu season, the Canada Communicable Disease Report showed that of the 68,849 laboratory tests performed for influenza, only 14.9% tested positive for a flu virus. The remaining 85.1% specimens were a result of other pathogens impervious to flu vaccines.[4] For the following 2005-2006 season, Health Canada received 68,439 tests for influenza like infections. Of these, only 6,580, or 10.4% confirmed positive for influenza. The rest, 89.6%, were other pathogens.[5] So no vaccine would have benefitted or protected those almost 90 percent in Canadians.

In the US, however, the CDC relies upon an esoteric witch’s brew of figures based upon various mathematical algorithms and speculative projections with no sound basis in reality. On one CDC site we find evidence of their flawed methodology: “Statistical modeling was used to estimate how many flu-related deaths occurred among people whose underlying cause of death on their death certificate was listed as a respiratory and circulatory disease.”[6] This is clearly an indication of policy turned dogmatic with utterly disregard for sound scientific evidence. It is all business as usual, negligent disregard for scientific reason, and full speed ahead.

And while the brilliant minds in the CDC decide to expose all Americans to the adverse risks of influenza vaccination -- Guillain-Barre Syndrome, schizophrenia, neurological disorders, miscarriages, polyneuritis, encephalitis, multiple sclerosis, intense headaches suggestive or meningeal or brain irritation, aphasia (loss of speech), bronchopneumonia, sexual impotence, angor pectoris, anaphylactic reactions and death[7] -- we should not lose sight of what is unfolding across the great pond in the European Union’s investigations into the CDC’s favorite bed partner -- the WHO, an utterly corrupt organization at every level.

Corruption at the WHO

Two reports recently published have indicted the WHO for serious malfeasance and conflict in interests behind the fabrication and propagation of the 2009-2010 H1N1 swine flu pandemic and has been called a “momentous error” in global health oversight. The people at the WHO had as much accuracy in their predictions as the Bush administration did with WMDs in Iraq.

The British Medical Journal printed a research paper by its Features Editor, Deborah Cohen, and Philip Carter from the Bureau of Investigative Journalism in London, charging the largest global health organization with exaggerating the H1N1 flu and being steered in their decisions and fraudulent fear campaign by the pharmaceutical industrial complex. According to the authors, “credibility of the WHO and the trust in the global public health system” has been damaged.

A second devastating preliminary report released by the Health Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (CE) found gross negligence and lack of transparency in the WHO’s handling of the swine flu scare. Throughout the WHO’s key advisory committees, particularly a secretive group known as the “emergency committee”, which steered the WHO’s assessment and predictions of the spread of H1N1 flu virus and advised them to announce a level 6 pandemic, were scientists entrenched in the morass of private vaccine and drug interests, particularly GlaxoSmithKline (H1N1 vaccine and Relenza anti-viral drug maker) and Tamiflu maker Roche AG.

Even worse, the WHO never publicly disclosed widespread conflict of interests. Paul Flynn, the rapporteur for the CE’s report stated, “the tentacles of drug company influence are in all levels of the decision-making process,” and “they vastly over-rated the danger on bad science.” Following a lengthy investigation, a preliminary report, which still awaits a final version next month, states the result of the WHO’s negligence in proper oversight resulted in the “waste of large sums of public money and unjustified scares and fears about the health risks faced by the European public”

The WHO continues to withhold the names of the 16 members sitting on its secret “emergency committee.” However, this week, two of the members resigned, notably Dr. John MacKenzie from Curtin University in Australia, who was the WHO advisor who first urged the organization to call a pandemic and is well known to be entangled in financial interests and investments with the pharmaceutical cartel.

So far the CDC has weathered the WHO controversy in Europe unscathed. A fundamental oversight in the CE’s investigation and hearings has been solely targeting the WHO. It ignores the role of government health agencies’ complicity in promulgating the H1N1 hoax and the flushing away of billions of dollars into the drug industry, especially during an economic downturn and recession. As we witness the WHO’s indifference and denial of wrongdoing crumble, the question remains over whether or not the CDC was complicit in the propagandizing of the astronomically expensive H1N1 hoax.

Of course, the vaccine industry doesn’t give a damn about the investigations. Their vaccines, anti-viral drugs, and oligarchic rule over the medical caste system make them immune to independent international scrutiny. And we can be assured none of the lap dogs at the New York Times, MSNBC and other major media would expose their crimes. In the shadow of this medical charade, the drug makers are laughing their way to the banks. No Big Pharma executive is sitting before investigative committees to give an accounting of corporations’ role in the pandemic debacle. Instead, after scoring over $6 billion (Associated Press, May 19, 2010) it is again business as usual and another flu season ahead to further increase revenues.

Financial corruption at every level

Similar to the WHO, the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Vaccination and Practice, which voted in favor of a flu vaccine-for-all policy, is equally stacked with individuals entrenched in financial ties with the vaccine and drug makers. The Committee’s Chair, Dr. Carol Baker from Baylor University, has consistently received research and educational grants and private donations from Big Pharma. She is also on the Board of Directors of the National Foundation of Infectious Diseases, a consulting body of scientists frequently wined and dined and provided perks by the pharmaceutical industrial complex.

Another Baylor University committee member, Dr. Wendy Keitel, received clinical trial support from Novartis, the maker of the H1N1 vaccine most widely distributed in the US. Dr. Janet Englund at the Children’s University Medical Group in Seattle received financial support for clinical trials favoring vaccines made by Medimmune (the nasal flu vaccine), Novartis, and Sanofi Pasteur. Dr. Cody Meissner received Big Pharma support through Tufts University for his supporting clinical trials for Medimmune’s RSV vaccine and for participation in Wyeth’s streptococcus vaccine for children, Prevnar.

To put this into greater perspective, since the FDA relies on industry-funded clinical trials and subsequent data to approve vaccines and drugs, there also appeared in the news this month a critical finding from the German Institute for Quality and Efficacy in Health Care, published in the peer-reviewed journal Trials. The study investigated 90 approved drugs in the US (and let us make no mistake, vaccines are drugs! In fact, the flu vaccine is listed as a Category C drug; which means there are no adequate safety studies to determine whether flu vaccination adversely affects pregnant mothers and their fetuses.) and discovered that 60 percent of the 900 papers were unpublished and some were concealed from the federal regulatory agencies. Forty to sixty percent omitted clinical details or changed their final analysis. Among the pharmaceutical industry studies alone, 94 percent were unpublished, and 86 percent of the university studies sponsored by drug makers remained unpublished.

What does this tell us? If they were positive results, the drug companies would without hesitation publish their findings; but if the clinical studies’ results contradict their expectations negatively, thereby delaying and preventing regulatory approval and licensure of a product, then there is no incentive for their release. And they are under no regulatory obligation to publish or produce them. Hence the American public is denied approximately 90 percent of the actual clinical data performed on any given drug or vaccine.

Quack science, useless vaccines and wasted money

The German study concludes that drug makers intentionally “conceal unfavorable results or results that do not fulfill one’s expectations.” Therefore, the vaccine and drug makers are permitted to conduct their nefarious, quack science behind closed doors with full participation and cooperation from the WHO, CDC and FDA. Of course, the CDC and FDA condone this behavior because they are completely subservient to the power and wealth of the pharmaceutical industry.

The recent CDC vote continues a tradition of denial over independent studies and reports warning of the over-exaggerated alarm and the dangers of pushing forward with an H1N1 vaccine that was not given sufficient time to prove its safety and efficacy. They even deny their own voices.

Dr. Anthony Morris is a distinguished virologist and a former Chief Vaccine Office at the FDA. His view about influenza vaccines summarizes their efficacy well. In Morris’s opinion there is no evidence that any influenza vaccine thus far developed is effective in preventing or mitigating any attack of influenza,’ Dr. Morris states, as a matter of record, “The producers of these vaccines know they are worthless, but they go on selling them anyway.”

Canada’s Vaccination Risk Awareness Network (VRAN) website is a community of physicians, researchers and vaccine researchers and journalists reporting on vaccines’ flawed promises and pseudo-science. Among all vaccines, the flu vaccine is presented with “The Most Useless Vaccine Of-All-Time Award.”

Some of the most damning evidence about the efficacy of flu vaccines was reported in two studies performed by Dr. Tom Jefferson, head of the Vaccine Field Group at the prestigious independent Cochrane Database Group, published in The Lancet and the prestigious Cochrane Database Systems Review. The first study was a systematic review of the effects of influenza vaccines in healthy children.[8] The other was a review of all the available published and unpublished safety evidence available regarding flu vaccines.[9]

The authors of the study had also contacted the lead scientists or research groups for all the efficacy and safety trial studies under their review in order to gain access to additional unpublished trial studies the corporations may possess. The conclusions are shocking. The only safety study performed with an inactivated flu vaccine was conducted in 1976. Thirty-four years ago! And that single study enrolled only 35 children aged 12-28 months. Every other subsequent inactivated flu vaccine study enrolled children 3 years or older.

Dr. Jefferson told Reuters, “Immunization of very young children is not lent support by our findings. We recorded no convincing evidence that vaccines can reduce mortality, [hospital] admissions, serious complications and community transmission of influenza. In young children below the age of 2, we could find no evidence that the vaccine was different from a placebo.”[10] With respect to adults, in 64 studies involving 66,000 adults, Jefferson noted, “Vaccination of healthy adults only reduced risk of influenza by 6 percent and reduced the number of missed work days by less than one day. There was no change in the number of hospitalizations compared to the non-vaccinated.”

And in another interview for the German magazine Der Spiegel on July 21, 2009, Jefferson seems to conclude his analysis of the H1N1 scare, “Sometimes you get the feeling that there is a whole industry almost waiting for a pandemic to occur. The WHO and public health officials, virologists and the pharmaceutical companies. They’ve built this machine around the impending pandemic. And there’s a lot of money involved, and influence, and careers, and entire institutions! And all it took was one of these viruses to mutate to start the machine grinding.”

Clearly there is no rationale for submitting the American population to a vaccine with higher risks of adverse effects than its record of efficacy in preventing flu infection. If the CDC’s vote withstands and were to ever become the law in the land, we will witness one of the largest crimes ever inflicted upon the American public, solely for corporate gain. Aside from rampant adverse effects in children, many that will not appear until their later years due to the number of toxins contained in flu vaccines, there will also be thousands of women having miscarriages. We will have entered a new medical twilight zone, where true science, responsible medical practice, and reliable public health become virtually nonexistent.

Power plant in space: Industry savior or threat to Earth?

Russia is currently considering the possibility of building a giant solar-energy plant in space, from which electricity could be generated and directly transmitted to Earth. Several countries have plans to build power plants in space in the coming decades, but experts remain uncertain about the feasibility and necessity of such projects.

An initiative to create a space-based power plant has been put forward by the Central Research Institute of Machine Building (TSNIIMASH) — the key scientific enterprise of the Russian space agency Roscosmos. The concept itself is not new, as the idea was first introduced by American Peter Glaser in 1968.

Essentially, the plant should be able to transmit power to Earth from a giant solar panel located in space. To build up the requisite capacity, the panel needs to occupy an area of several square miles and be positioned at geostationary orbit, if possible. The electricity generated by the plant would be transformed into a powerful microwave flow, which would then be directed to a large antenna field on the Earth, where the microwaves would be converted back to electricity.

TSNIIMASH has suggested replacing microwaves with a laser, since radio beams are too dispersed and the receiving antenna would have to stretch across several square miles of land to capture them. A laser, however, would make it possible to reduce the footprint by several dozen times.

Unfortunately, there are currently no lasers of the requisite capacity. A series of infrared laser diodes scattered across the solar panel would also do the trick, though — their radiation could be aggregated and transmitted to the Earth.

The United States, Japan, Europe and China all have plans to build power plants in space by 2030–2040. Russian Space Academy (RSA) member Alexander Zheleznyakov believes it should not come as a surprise that Russia wants to join this list.

“We, too, need to work in this area. If we could find a way to make power generated in space inexpensive, it would benefit us all, as our planet has been lacking energy resources for a while. We need to think about the future. It’s not only a matter of maintaining a competitive edge against other countries. There is also an economic side to it. We are building new power plants on Earth, so why can’t we do the same in space if there is such a possibility?” Zheleznyakov says.

The Novosti Kosmonavtiki magazine deputy editor-in-chief, Igor Lisov, admits that it is an appealing idea, though he warns that it is extremely costly and, thus, unfeasible.

“We should keep our eyes wide open and be realistic about this. None of the countries have any serious work — or even tests — underway on transmitting energy from orbit to the Earth,” says Lisov.

The project exploits the myth that mankind is running out of energy, which is only true with regard to oil and natural gas. According to RSA member Andrei Ionin, there is little doubt that there will be no need for power plants in space, once other Earth-based energy sources — such as thermonuclear fusion — have been mastered.

“Launching a plant to orbit and operating it there is very expensive — to say nothing of the environmental impact for the Earth,” Ionin says.

“God forbid the laser beam moves out of position. What will happen to the Earth then?" Ionin asks. "We don’t know how such offsets may influence the ozone layer. What if the laser starts burning holes in it? The remedial actions would cost hundreds of times more than the power generated by the plant. The TSNIIMASH proposal needs to be reviewed by ecologists and economists.”

Grandiose projects such as this still have a very long way to go before they can be implemented. Still, experts agree that studies in this area may come in handy. Research in this field may help develop a number of interesting technological solutions, such as advanced types of lasers and solar modules.

HARLEE and ASHLEE

Dear Thinktwice,

I recently took our only children, Harley (2 months) and Ashlee (2 years), to the doctor for their well-baby appointments. Harley had the sniffles and Ashlee had a cold, otherwise both were in perfect health. Harley was given his first DPT, polio, and Hib shots. Ashlee received her first Hib and MMR shots, as well as her third DPT and fourth polio shots.

After the vaccinations I laid the children down for their naps. Harley woke first; his thighs were red. I heard Ashlee wake and then I heard a 'THUMP!' Ashlee fell flat on the floor. She cried out 'Mommy, me no walk!' I checked her over and stood her up; there was no strength in either leg.

I called the hospital and rushed Ashlee to the emergency ward. I left Harley with a responsible woman to look after him while we were away. At the hospital we waited more than 20 minutes for the doctor to finish his popcorn before he would check Ashlee. He never touched her, nor was she undressed. The official report stated that the child couldn't walk, 'no other problem.

When we returned home, Harley was high-pitched screaming. The babysitter said it started more than one-and-a-half hours before. He was inconsolable. He finally screamed himself into exhaustion two hours later. I called the emergency ward. They recommended a warm bath and told me it was 'nothing to worry about.'

For ten days Harley's behavior changed. He barely slept, hardly ate, and seemed to be getting worse. On May 17 at 9:00 a.m., my husband got up, checked on Harley, and yelled out, 'Bonnie, get up, call the ambulance. Harley is dead!'

The state police and county coroner arrived with the ambulance. The coroner peered into the ambulance, never examined Harley, and stated, 'SIDS.' Harley was then rushed away. My husband and I didn't get to see him again for more than three days, until 1:00 p.m. on May 20 -- in his coffin!

My adopted parents came to Harley's funeral. My father (I use that term loosely) screamed out: 'Which one of you killed my grandson?' My husband's family stays away; they think we should stop mourning for Harley and get on with our life.

I want to mention the following points:

* The attendant giving the vaccines never mentioned the possibility of side effects when we were rushed through the signing of the releases.

* Ashlee has been to doctors since her paralysis. They never documented our verbal concerns regarding a connection to the vaccines.

* The autopsy lists Harley as a 5-week-old baby; he was 9 weeks old.

* The pathology department never received tissue samples. Also, Harley's blood arrived by U.S. mail after an eleven-day wait; it was not shipped on dry ice.

* The doctor never recorded the lot numbers of the vaccines. The manufacturers cannot help us without this information.

* An administrator at the Minot Air Force Base (where the vaccines were administered), told us: 'Get on with your lives, drop this search. It's only a baby.'

* We were rejected for compensation through the Federal Vaccine Compensation Act.

* Two U.S congressional inquiries are underway to secure information regarding our children's health care.

What is life like today? Empty. The government is taking their time. Ashlee's medical future is at risk. We cannot even test for permanent damage yet. It is sad that the government does not care about our babies. They do not care that an innocent child is dead because of their neglect, and desire to pretend everything is okay. Our son is not able to rest in peace because of the bureaucratic red-tape. Harley has been dead for more than two years. When will the government stop running our lives, even after death? What is next?

Dear Thinktwice,

My son, Andy, was born June 16. He was healthy and full term. He had his first shot on August 18. He started screaming right away and continued to cry. He screamed and cried for the next few days, except when he fell into a deep sleep. Also, when he was awake, he now had a glassy, odd look in his eyes, as though he was looking right past us. He just wasn't right.

I took him to the Emergency Room where I was told he was having 'a bad day.' I asked if the shot had anything to do with his behavior. I was told 'no.' I brought him home and knew something was wrong. I know now he suffered from encephalopathy and convulsions.

I did not know that Andy had a reaction to his first shot. After his second shot he screamed, and when we got home he went to sleep. I checked him and he was stiff as a board with glaring eyes. He had no expression on his face and I got no response. However, when I picked him up, his head was floppy. I held him for 30 or 40 minutes. Then, as if nothing happened, he sat up. After this episode I noticed a lot of jerking movements. I now know these were seizures.

About a week later I was holding Andy on my lap and his legs went out, and his tongue hung out; he had his first grand mal seizure. I took him to the doctor's office the next day, but before I got him ready to go he had several more grand mal seizures. The doctor told me it seemed like epilepsy to him and ordered EEGs and blood work. The next day, back home in his high chair, we thought he was choking on baby food. He was having another grand mal and we rushed him to the doctor. They took Andy to Buffalo Children's Hospital by ambulance. That is where we were confronted with what was wrong. The doctor asked when he had the shot. I told her and she said don't get another.

From that day on our lives were changed dramatically. We went from hospital to hospital hoping we could find something to help our son. He has been on every medication available and some that are experimental, all to no avail. When Andy was six months old we noticed an uncommon type of reaction. He would look at our kitchen floor and have a seizure. He could not look at screens or anything with a weave, including grass, cement, jeans, and sweaters, to name a few. As he got older I tried dark glasses on him; it seemed to help this type of seizure to some degree.

The medications and diets he has been on in his last eight years have been to no avail. A few years ago, he had brain surgery that helped with the patterned seizures. He continues to have grand mal clusters every two weeks. These last 12 to 15 hours he had about 30 seizures in this time period.

Andy is mentally retarded and has symptoms of cerebral palsy. He wears leg braces and sometimes a seizure helmet. His behavior is not good. Although he is 8 years old, he is a 1 year old in many ways. He can't dress himself or color or write or print. He goes to a special class.

We are with Andy 24 hours a day. He cannot be alone for 10 seconds. He is a danger to himself. For 5 years Andy could not look at a TV screen because it was an instant grand mal. As I write this, Andy is unconscious from a bout of seizures. I have a lot more I could tell you and show you.

Our relatives have been pretty good, but our friends are few. Our whole life is Andy. Our daughter has been showing signs of unhappiness. She misses out on a lot, but we feel she'll be a better adult for this.

We did go through the compensation program four years ago. However, this has caused some problems for us, as Andy got his insurance canceled and cannot get Social Security Insurance. But that is another story. Our situation has gotten a lot worse as Andy's condition has worsened. Thank you for listening.

vaccine book too late.... My dearest son, Spencer Joseph, died 10 hours after receiving his 4th dose of DPT, HIB, and polio vaccines. He was 20 months old. I knew Spencer was dead when I heard my husband wailing like an animal. I grabbed Spencer's stiff and lifeless body and screamed, 'God, No, Not My Baby! He Can't Be Dead!' I administered CPR for 15 minutes, pounded on his chest, and yelled, 'Come Back Spencer, Come Back, Come Back!' Then I heard my father say over the phone to 911, 'We've got a dead baby here.' Realization hit. I opened Spencer's eyes, and he was dead. I then hugged his stiff body and emitted sounds I didn't know any human being was capable of making.

I cannot adequately express my horror, anger, and ultimate suffering. My life turned upside down in one day, and each day that goes by I look at as one day closer to death, one day closer to Spencer. Why? Because they told me the benefits outweigh the risks. What does that really mean, and why are these people allowed to play God? After educating myself further [on vaccines], I realize I was lucky to have had Spencer for as long as I did.

Spencer's death certificate said, 'Sudden and Unexpected Death; No Cause Found.' I have met numerous times with [the pathologist] in an effort to have [tests done to detect vaccine toxins]. He said he didn't take the blood in assayable [testable] conditions. I asked him to do an immuno-fluorescence test, and had him speak with Dr. William Torch [the medical researcher who found correlations between vaccines and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome], but [the pathologist] said it wouldn't yield anything. I asked him to do [another test], but he said they don't do that test there. It's maddening and frustrating BUT I WILL NOT GIVE UP. Spencer was so special and loving that his mama will not stop fighting until the day I die.

Spencer was my first and only child. My husband and I are completely devastated. Now I will channel all of my anger and my ultimate, unconditional love for my precious baby, into this cause. No one should have to feel and know this living nightmare.

I am writing to you for a couple of reasons. First, let me congratulate you on your courage and honesty, not to mention stamina, in writing your book. Secondly, anytime you need help to express your campaign against 'killer vaccines' please feel free to contact me. I joined a SIDS group to deal with the pain. All the so-called 'SIDS' babies fit classic vaccine adverse reactions. The [parents] are anti-vaccine for their surviving children. We have an educated group fighting to educate others about adverse reactions. Third, I seek permission to [share with others] excerpts from your book because I need to educate unsuspecting mothers about my horror. Please allow this. I am bound and determined to get the word out. I WISH EVERY SECOND OF MY EXISTENCE THAT I WOULD HAVE KNOWN! Why did I find out after the fact?

Dear Thinktwice,

I have four children, ages 3 to 14, three boys and a little girl. All of them had normal births and were healthy babies. When Shana, our daughter, was three months old, we took her in for her routine checkup and she was given her first round of shots. Soon thereafter she came down with a high fever. We were instructed to give her a fever reducer to lower her temperature. Of course we were obedient to all of the doctor's orders, trusting that with a sound medical background this was the proper thing to do. No one ever mentioned to us that we even had a <a href="http://thinktwice.com/laws.htm">choice whether or not to vaccinate our children.

After that day, Shana developed a deep, croupy cough. Her voice got deeper and deeper. She no longer slept after breastfeeding. Instead, she would arch her back and scream as if she were in horrible pain. She lost her ability to move her stools and we had to literally go up inside of her and pull her hard stools out. I was told that she had problems with my breast milk. Like a fool, I put her on formula. Meanwhile, our doctor ordered X rays, barium swallows, and hundreds of dollars worth of useless tests to find the cause. Although I could hear Shana choking and screaming in the hospital rooms, I was told that I wasn't sanitary enough to go in and comfort her. My young children could also hear her piercing screams from the waiting area. My husband and I had no insurance to pay for this and even though we struggled to pay the bills, the hospital put a lien against our home.

For the next six months my poor baby never slept more than twenty minutes at a time, each time waking up screaming and arching her back. It was difficult to hold her during these spells. My husband and I took turns walking the floors, feeding her, and pulling out stools. He was juggling law school and our new business; I was trying to care for the business and three other children.

Shana fell way below normal on the growth charts and actually stopped growing throughout the entire six months. We were told that she might have Down Syndrome or a neurological disorder. We switched doctors when our pediatrician told us that she looked retarded. I know that I did not give birth to a retarded child.

Throughout this trauma no one ever suggested a connection to the vaccines. So our new doctor reinjected Shana with the shots. There was so much unrest during this time that I can't recall how much additional damage was actually done.

During the next several months Shana slowly started to come out of this state. After another year she started to look and feel much better. By the age of four, the only recognizable traits from these episodes were a deep, husky voice and a croupy cough. She seemed normal, healthy, and strong. But her kindergarten teacher recently informed us that it may be necessary for her to repeat class for the third time. We sent her to summer school and they suggested testing her for a learning disorder.

Shana is now receiving the right instruction and care at a private school. In combination with homeopathic remedies, my daughter will live a full, normal life. I thank God for revealing the source of this terrible violation of human lives. I hope that others will listen to the brave few who are telling the truth about vaccinations in a world where we are taught to deny our instincts in exchange for what is socially acceptable.

Many people ask me what I do about vaccinations now. I used to fill in phony dates on the vaccination forms so that my children could be accepted into camps, schools, etc. Now I tell the truth -- that I will never again blindly trust the so-called medical authorities. I make conscious decisions about medicines, and I will teach my children the same. If my rights as an American citizen to choose against poisoning my children are ever taken away, I'll move. We really need to educate ourselves about vaccines and what true freedom means.

Do you remember Dana McCaffery? She was born in a NSW area where the AVN (anti-vax group) was prevalent. Parents stopped getting vaccinations, herd immunity was lost in that area and there was an outbreak of pertussis - whopping cough FFS! In this day and age, whooping cough broke out in NSW! Little Dana was only 32 days old and thus too young to be vaccinated.

She died from pertussis.

This is what happens when people don't get vaccinated: people die.

In 15 or 20 years, my own immune system is going to be weakened and I won't be able to fight off diseases like this. My only defence against them is herd immunity, so that the disease cannot take hold in the community in the first place. This means we should be aiming for a vaccination rate of 90% or preferably more.

This will also affect you - you'll have to rely on herd immunity, so you have a dog in this fight too.

No I don't remember that. The death of innocents is always sad though. I'm glad to see people concerned about that.

Have you had a look at the Karolinska Institute papers. Probably theirs and those they publish are the most authoritative on the matter.

My stake in this is to see that any attempt to cull any part of the worlds living beings be halted.

There are no countries that are 100% socialist or 100% capitalist, I guess the countries that comes closest to the former are Cuba and perhaps Vietnam, China IMO long ago crossed into some form of fascism.Countries like Venezuela and the Scandinavian nations are good examples of socialist-capitalist hybrids. But you are better versed in the subject than I am and I asked 1st, please post a link to your most recent list.

There are also all those formerly Communist countries from the Soviet bloc and elsewhere were you thinking of them when you wrote, "I've noticed socialist couhtries have a greater tendency to [spend resources ethically]"?

PS - almost forgot North Korea, don't know if you consider it to be socialist.

Anecdotal stories are really evidence either, no disputes any medication can have adverse reactions.

Dear Family,

As you all know, I am madly in love with your children. Their health and their future is of the utmost importance to me. In fact, there is nothing more important to me than their future well being.

That said, we need to talk.

Gee an anonymous author who claims to have been a medical secretary/technician and says her unnamed husband agrees with her, that's a lot more compelling than actual studies done by qualified professionals.

Flu Vaccines, pharma fraud, quack science, the CDC and WHO -- all exposed by Richard Gale and Gary Null

Gee yet another article whose authors have no relevant qualifications. Yet they did cite a few qualified authors. I looked into only one and low and behold it did NOT match what was ascribed to them.

Corruption at the WHO

Two reports recently published have indicted the WHO for serious malfeasance and conflict in interests behind the fabrication and propagation of the 2009-2010 H1N1 swine flu pandemic and has been called a “momentous error” in global health oversight. The people at the WHO had as much accuracy in their predictions as the Bush administration did with WMDs in Iraq.

The British Medical Journal printed a research paper by its Features Editor, Deborah Cohen, and Philip Carter from the Bureau of Investigative Journalism in London, charging the largest global health organization with exaggerating the H1N1 flu and being steered in their decisions and fraudulent fear campaign by the pharmaceutical industrial complex. According to the authors, “credibility of the WHO and the trust in the global public health system” has been damaged.

Here's the cited source, though the author postulated flu statistics were being manipulated by the CDC, the WHO is only mentioned in passing and the direct quote does not appear.

It seems that a few credible researchers have produced credible studies/papers questioning the efficacy of and/or necessity for one vaccine or another, but yet to see any who back your overall theories

Last year the World Health Organization (WHO) declared that the planet was in the throes of an influenza pandemic. Dr. Margaret Chan, the director general of the WHO, delivered the notice.

Her announcement triggered large-scale panic buying of flu vaccines and anti-viral drugs such as oseltamivir (Tamiflu) and zanamivir (Relenza). According to the investment bank J. P. Morgan, the pharmaceutical companies did very nicely out of this health scare, profiting to the tune of $7 billion from the sale of vaccines alone.

Air Force to research non-lethal directed energy weapon ‘bioeffects’ to create new exotic weaponry

While it may sound like complete science fiction, the Air Force is actually preparing to spend $49 million to research the biological effects of non-lethal directed energy weapons in hopes of creating future weapons that manipulate the body on a biochemical or molecular level.

This may sound wildly farfetched but given that the military has researched unbelievable “human enhancement” technologies, weaponized hallucinations, autonomous robotic jellyfish, insect-sized killer drones and fully automated “killer robots,” this shouldn’t be all that surprising.

Furthermore, the US military has already developed a wide range of directed energy (DE) weapons ranging from the defunct Airborne Laser program to a “heat ray” and an overall greater emphasis on directed energy weapons of all kinds.

The Air Force Bioeffects Division recently announced a new program testing how “directed energy, riot control agents, broadband light, acoustic sounds, and blunt impact materials” change the body.

While many people may not be familiar with radio frequency (RF) and high power microwave (HPM) emitting devices, the US Air Force says they have “been at the forefront of research on the biological effects of RF/HPM radiation for more than 30 years.”

This latest round of research involves laboratory tests, studies and field experiments beginning in September of this year with tests in San Antonio, Texas expected to go on for seven years.

The Air Force announcement posted online points out that the discovery of new bioeffects could very well have “defensive or offensive” applications and thus contribute to the “development and deployment of future DE weapons.”

The Air Force will conduct “proteomic, genomic, and metabolomic studies that identify critical biochemical or molecular changes following exposure to DE prior to or during mission operations that assist in the prediction of health degradation.”

“That could mean looking at how concentrated blasts of radio frequency waves and high-power microwaves manipulate our proteins, DNA and metabolites,” Danger Room <a href="http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2013/04/air-force-directed-energy/" target="_blank">notes.

The announcement says that they seek to “investigate the basic mechanism(s) of interaction between biology and RF radiation” while also discovering “previously unknown bioeffects of RF exposure that may provide a defensive or offensive capability to the Air Force.”

Perhaps even greater than the amazingly creepy nature of this type of technology are the concerns surrounding the diplomatic problems this type of weaponry could create.

Robert Beckhusen, writing for Danger Room, points out that the military’s Active Denial System was recalled from Afghanistan at least in part due to the “propaganda value it would have given to the Taliban.”

Still, as Beckhusen points out, “in the aftermath of the assault on U.S. diplomats in Benghazi and the killing of the U.S. ambassador there, the State Department touted non-lethal energy weapons as one potential defense against embassy attacks.”

While it may not be all that helpful diplomatically, the US military is clearly pouring money into this type of research to build directed energy weapons with the intent to actually use them. One can only struggle imagine what the future of warfare will look like at this point.
