“The Secret Life of Marina Oswald”

Recommended Posts

Mr. Caddy, the article refers twice to a trial of Oswald (the second reference is to a 1968 trial). What do you make of this National Enquirer tale?

I love this part:

"The night before the assassination she remembers him bringing his rifle to her home and putting it in the garage. The next day, she noticed it was gone."

Shouldn't people writing about the assassination be required to know at least a little bit about the case? It's JFK 101 that Oswald came to visit Marina the night before the shooting, and that he came to her straight from work. This bit about him bringing his rifle to "her home"--actually the home of Mrs. Ruth Paine--is total nonsense, and misleading as heck. For all we know, the rifle could have been stolen from Mrs. Paine's garage WEEKS before Oswald came to visit Marina, and weeks before the shooting.

Ken, I do not know the answer to your question. Perhaps another forum member who is an expert on the assassination and Oswald can do this.
