James DiEugenio Posted February 22, 2020 Share Posted February 22, 2020 (edited) Robert Caro has a lot more blind spots than this. He has turned out to be a pretty much Establishment guy. And from what I have read he is going with Halberstam's outdated, obsolete, false and pernicious paradigm on Kennedy vs Johnson on Vietnam. When his new book comes out I will list the things he has gotten wrong in the lat two volumes and how he swallowed Johnson's propaganda.
