The Kids are Alright

it has always been my opinion, no matter what view a person might hold on the JFKA, that the movie JFK is the best film ever made.

And this history teacher demonstrates one of the many, many reasons I feel that way.

Teaching new generations of Americans to thoroughly study our nation's history is one the most crucial ways of keeping our democratic republic alive and kicking.

When trying to learn critical thinking, Occam's razor, how to weigh opinions and/or evidence, and just the byzantine nature of the American bureaucratic body politic, it is difficult to think of a better tool than the study and story of the JFKA. And getting kids into using their brains that way prior to entering high school is fantastic.
