George Bollschweiler
As simple questions sometimes are the most complicated ones I’d like to ask one that IMO is not only hard to answer but to understand: Q:If one belives that the CIA, FBI, SS or only parts of it were involved in plannig the assasination, they, as we know now, have preformed a very poor job. Why would an operation of that importance turn into such a nightmare?
Shanet Clark
One point: It was a public expression of power. It was meant to intimidate and clearly signal the ascendancy of the joint agencies. It was a sloppy, overplayed, publicly bloody and transparently agency related ambush. If JFK died in his sleep, where would the fear and intimidation be, the thrill of the Hunt? Edited February 1, 2005 by Shanet Clark

Hi Shanet, If I understand you right, you think the mess after the assasination was part of the plan to demonstrate the joint agencies power by cleaning it up? Quite an interesting view but not impossible..hmm and so far successful. "Hey look we did it, catch us if you can"! "Yeh, since 42 years we're rigth behind you".
