Lee Forman
Has anybody stumbled across CIA documentation describing a Soldier of Fortune returning from Cuba in 1959 wearing yellow canvas shoes and red denim slacks? McLean, entitled "CRANKS, NUTS, AND SCREWBALLS" which can be found on the cia.gov site - they don't list references. www.cia.gov/csi/kent_csi/docs/v09i3a09p_0004.htm Other Field Office Walk-ins Some unlikely sources have produced usable information. In 1959 a soldier of fortune fresh from Cuba wearing yellow canvas shoes, red denim slacks, and a gaudy sport shirt contacted a domestic office. His debriefing was worth while but abbreviated by his arrest for having a bag of dynamite in his hotel room
