Tim Gratz Posted January 28, 2006 Author Share Posted January 28, 2006 According to an article in "The Militant" by Cuban revolutionary William Dreke, November 22, 1958 was the first formal alliance between the student directorate led by Rolando Cubela and Castro's July 26th movement. A formal treaty between the two groups was executed on December 1, 1958. I assume no significance between what happened on November 22, 1958 and what was going on in Paris and Dallas five years later.
