Jim, a couple of point's. I wonder if you could comment on whether you see what I mean about the figures in the pergola behind where Zapruder was standing. If you refer to the image posted before, and this one which shows the same but outlined in blue. I see the woman very clearly. The hand bag, the skirt, the coloring, the size and place of features in general.

The mans cap and face and outline I think can be seen.

There are 5 bond photos and in three of them there is definitely noone there. In this one they both are there. In one other the man but standing further back with his cap in his hand appears to be seen.

The timing of the photos are significant as it would appear to place these two inside the pergola while the motorcade was passing, after which the man seems to scout the coast and they take off from there and are then filmed by Bell.

I don't think one can say with certainty what he is doing with his hand. I suggested covering face or pulling down visor, Frank suggests talking into radio, you suggest cigarette, That is enough reson to say his hand is doing something. Similarly there is no reason for being sure she's a nurse.

Also Frank, if there was someone behind the man and he was not wearing a long coat, then this person would cast a shadow. I see none, so long coat it most likely is?

I SEE WHATYOU MEAN ABOUT THE LADY BEHIND ZAP. UNTIL YOUR PICS I NEVER NOTICED HER THERE BEFORE [ OR HIM [ FOR THAT MATTER.

I GUESS IF SHE WAS THE NURSE AT ELM AND HOUSTON SHE WOULD HAVE HAD TIME TO WALK DOWN ELM AND UP TO THE PERGOLA BEFORE JFK ROLLED BY. THINK SHE IS DEFINITLY WEARING A NURSES' UNIFORM. I CAN'T THINK OF ANOTHER PROFESSION HER GARB WOULD INDICATE.

I WONDER HOW LONG FROM THE LAST SHOT THE BELL FILM WAS TAKEN?

They would have a unique story to tell with regards to reactions and accoustics and it would be good to identify them. She may very well be a nurse, however what I see is quite a loose kind of dress, a fashionable 'big' hairstyle with a head scarf. Nevertheless I'll look into that side of things. Perhaps someone with a feel for such 60's things could comment.

I think the badge needs further look. I was surprised to find that the wings is not a feature of texas police badges, but it is a feature of surrounding states. This in itself is interesting.

I'll go into the other thing which pertains to later bell film sequence. I'd be interested if anyone else spots it first.
