What do we know about his sister's background? Her brother-in-law, Marvin, went on to become mayor of Irving. A later second run at office saw him scuttled by a campaign accusing him of past racism and corruption. I don't know, but I'm guessing they were Dixiecrats. Reading Linnie-Mae's testimony, it seems to me, she believed herself better than her brother who she all but calls him trailer trash. Buell, for his part, indicated in his testimony that they rarely spoke. Mrs. RANDLE. Well, we didn't say that he might get a job, because I didn't know there was a job open. The reason that we were being helpful, Wesley had just looked for a job, and I had helped him to try to find one. We listed several places that he might go to look for work. When you live in a place you know some places that someone with, you know, not very much of an education can find work. Mr. FRAZIER - Yes; I believe she did or something. We got to talking about something and said, I told her that he had rode home with me and told her he said he was going to come home and pick up some curtain rods or something. I usually don't talk too much to my sister, sometimes she is not there when I am in because she is either at the store or something like that and I am either when she comes in as I say I am playing with the little nieces and we don't talk too much about work or something like that.
