The tracing was done by the proprietor of a private website. Two different visits to the website were traced to the Brazilian govt website. My original message accused nobody of anything. My original question still applies. Why is the Brazilian govt interested in what goes on regarding subjects discussed here? Nobody has answered my question. Jack Why my IP address / ISP came up as being tied to the CGI was already explained to you, they are the registrant of all Brazilian ISPs. Even according to the info from John Mccarthy my ISP is "veloxzone.br" which as can easily be verified by any resonably intelligent person (I can see why it presents a challenge to some members of this forum) is a private ISP run by Brazil's largest phone company (Telemar). Also as has already been explained the CGI is not a government agency. There was if you rember similar confusion on the "Hacked again" thread with some "whois" searches indicating a company in Japsn and others inciating the registrant of IP's in the Asia/Pacific region an Australian organisation As Andy and John already verified by IP is from a private ISP One obvious question, let say I was some sort of paid disinfo agent as you have accused me numerous times why would I use a IP address/ISP conected to my employer and then visit CT sites like John's and yours? Amother obvious question is why would the Brazilian government who's president pals around with Castro, Chavez and Morales employ an American to (persumably on behalf of the CIA) monitor a forum principally concerned with American conspiracies? He traced the path of the accesses to the same computer at a Brazilian govt agency. He knew the location of the computer, but NOT who was using it. He sent me an email asking my opinion. I posted a question on this forum wondering why a Brazilian agency opened a link posted on this forum. Nobody has been able to answer my question...so the matter apparently remains a mystery. Is he lying or telling the truth? It was Mr. Colby who was engaging in an exchange with another forum member. During that exchange, someone whose computer was traced to a Brazilian govt entity logged onto a website featuring the research being discussed. Was this Mr. Colby...or just a coincidence? It it was he, why does he deny it? Members of this forum need to know whether Colby is an employee of the Brazilian govt, or merely an American living in Brazil as he claims.
