  1. currently working on my new book, "The Consequence of Truth: A Study of the Jim Garrison Investigation and the Trial of Clay Shaw." Be on the look out for the excerpt exclusively at CTKA.net.

  2. That is one of the stories I heard. Where did this originate? Do you have a source? And also, thanks for sharing that picture of Ferrie. This photograph I don't believe I have seen before. Great post.
  3. I haven't run across it in my study of Ferrie. I can say that his FAA records give no indication that he was qualified to fly helicopters. BTW, Mitchell: We need to gab about Ferrie a bit. I would be very willing to discuss ferrie with you. My book "The Consequence of Truth: A Study into the Jim Garrison Investigation and the Trial of Clay Shaw" is near its completion, and I go into David Ferrie at length, so if there is any information that I can add, I would be more than happy to learn and discuss Ferrie. He was an interesting man.
  4. Hi Mitchell, it sounds like you were specifally looking for evidence of Ferrie flying choppers? If that is correct, are you able to divulge why? I specifically asked about it because I had heard through other people or books that he had apparently flew helicopters, so I asked about it with people that knew Ferrie, and kept my eye out for it when going through documents at the National Archives.
  5. Whoa! Take your blinkers off folks! Has anyone here read the transcript of Mark Lane's telephone conversation with Helen Markham, compared to what he said to the WC about it? You can find it here. Integrity is not a word that immediately springs to mind. I'd also point you all towards the section dedicated to Mark Lane in Reclaiming History. American Hero? Didn't Jim Garrison once describe Lee Harvey Oswald as such? Hmmm. I don't know that I would ever consider either McAdams or Bugliosi reliable sources for much of anything, however you are entitled to your opinion. On the other hand, credit must definitely be give to Mark Lane for encouraging the American people to take a look at the assassination and open the public's eyes to some real unresoved issues with the Warren Commission's investigation. 6. i have heard referances to ferrie flying helicopters but have never really checked it out i think he did tho Thanks Jerry, I lack knowledge on Ferrie to be honest. I know he was a plane pilot, but was curious about helos as well. Mike I am currently writing a book on the Garrison investigation, and I have done a thorough search of all the records regarding David Ferrie, and there is no evidence whatsoever that Ferrie flew helicopters, and also, I interviewed many Ferrie friends / associates, and none of them could confirm that Ferrie even knew how to fly a helicopter. If you turn up anything at all, please do let me know, however, I do believe that your search will lead to nothing. Mitchell Warriner
  7. I was born in Corvallis, Oregon in 1983. I graduated from Everett High School in Washington State in 2001, and then enlisted in the United States Army in June, 2002, receiving an honorable discharge in 2008. I studied and received a BA in American History at the University of North Dakota, and I am making plans to enter law school in the near future. I am currently residing in Portland, Oregon with my wife and two daughters. My interest in the assassination of President Kennedy began at the mere age of 8 years, and by 16, an article was published in the newspaper about my research and arguments with former-President Gerald R. Ford regarding the Warren Commission Report. Another article was published in March 2010 announcing my work being done on a book, entitled "The Consequence of Truth," regarding Jim Garrison's investigation which will be finished soon. I have interviewed numerous people involved with the Garrison investigation and the Kennedy assassination including President Ford, Perry Russo, Lou Ivon, Dr. Paul Peters, Col. Fletcher Prouty, Harold Weisberg, Vernon Bundy, Numa Bertel, the Garrison family, and many, many others. My interest is the Kennedy assassination, however, I consider my expertise the Garrison investigation and Shaw's trial.
