Russia today produced 'evidence' that it claims shows at least one military aircraft was flying close to Flight MH17 when it was shot down, killing all 298 on board.
Data from air traffic controllers in Rostov-on-Don, leaked to a Moscow newspaper, appears to show an unidentified object flying at the time of the crash on 17 July and remaining in the area for 20 minutes after the crash.
Russian military experts have previously claimed a Ukrainian war plane shot down the Malaysia Airline flight, but it has taken 119 days for sources to produce the 'proof'.
Anonymously leaked unverifiable data, how compelling.

"The Bush administration began planning to use U.S. troops to invade Iraq within days after the former Texas governor entered the White House three years ago, former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill told CBS News' 60 Minutes.
In the 1930s the US military developed a contingency plan to invade Canada, lots of scenarios are planned for, some happen most don't. It's no secret that the Bush cabal were gunning for Saddam, but if 9/11 was a ploy to justify the invasion what wasn't any evidence produced pointing the finger at Iraq?

Complete BS as has been pointed out ad infinium, the normal contigent of 7 pairs of fighters (2 in the North - Mid Atlantic) were on scramble alert that morning they were unaffected by any of the drills. Response time was comprable to the Payne Stewart incident and much better than for the Bo Rein one (when many more planes were on scramble alert and response time was supposed to be 5 min rather than the post Cold War 15)

The same was said, however, about 9-11 so the comparison is valid. Co-incidences do happen.
Drills are usually for preparedness against common events,like broken safety cables.Drills for uncommon events would be suspicious and not thinking they are suspicious would not be good thinking.And your basis for the underlined claim is what? your vast inexperience in the area?
The US military spends lots of time training and drilling, various scenarios have been contemplated.

I assume everyone has seen the news about the window washers rescued by the FDNY toway from outside the 69th floor of the new WTC. The chief of the department said they'd had a drill for just such an incident only 10 days earlier. HOW CONVENIENT!!! Following “truther” logic the 'accident' must have been an inside job!

His areas of expertise are communications, social media and journalism I ound no inications he has any experience with aviation, engineering military etc.

If you claimed a debunking post on JREF was suspect because its author had done work for NIST that would be an ad hom but you don't even have that rather one guy who has provided financial support to the forum works for a university that has done research for NIST. It seems only half a dozen people are following this thread, you have yet to expalin how any of your assinine BS disqualifies posts made on JREF so my furthur participation would be a waste of time.

Szamboti is a mechanical engineer who works with aerospace, thus he is not especially qualified to critique multi-thousand page exhaustively researched reports prepared by qualified structural engineers. Last I checked the truthers had only signed up about 2 dozen SE about half of whom worked on things like ships,oil rigs, bridges etc, of the half or so who actually had BUILDING design experience with only one or two exceptions none made any claim to have designed anything more than a couple stories tall. But they gave no indication of having actually read the NIST executive reports,let alone the dozens of supporting ones. Of the 3 or 4 (or was it 5?) who mentioned the report none claimed relevant expertise. Gaal get back to us if you can find atruther SE who has read at least one of the NIST reports AND has RELEVANT (i.e. highrise) design experience.

- WEll thank you Colby you got me to dig deeper. Put in Denmans name at what was called PUB Med and found some intriguing items that connects said DENMAN to the defense establishment. His article listed there (PUB MED) referred to signals (electromagnetic) effecting blood coagulation by DARPA (the D stands for Defense (as in DOD) if you dont know.) A make you bleed ray ???? Maybe because I then searched at PUB MED using the lead scientific author in said DENMAM article - putting in my search Jonas WB and Biowarfare and got 3 articles at bottom. The middle 3 articles is something PUB MED does in showing related articles ( Related citations in PubMed) an interpretation of said articles would be in military terms as use for an electromagnetic weapon. So Colby contends that DENMAMS just makes everyones PC work without problems at the university ????? IMHO, no he is more than that.

This thread is not about Joe Kennedy Sr. The references I've made about the fascist's hatred of the Kennedy's apply to John, Bobby, and Ted Kennedy, who were/are very different from their father.
When I say "fascism" I'm thinking of the definition attributed to Benito Mussolini, the supposed creator of fascism:
"Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power."
The definition is totally relevant to the four major sixties murders, which were committed against leaders seeking peace, by corporate entities who made profits from war.

More poorly sourced innuendo and character assassination, so Randi might be gay, supposedly there's a tape of him talking dirty to teenage boys but this is poorly sourced. His financial backer may have done work for the DoD (gotta better source than a crank who lied under oath and was fired for "filing false stories"?). Kooks who believe in perpetual motion and psychic dogs don't like him. Was does any of this crap have to do with the veracity of posts made on the forum that bears his name but he is not directly involved in running?
