  1. I keep forgetting you sense of humor. I figured that perhaps she had uncovered something about Scaife that went back further than what we already know. NOT that Mellen had any ties HERSELF to Scaife. My humor detector is not up to speed. Been ill with the flu and way overworked, with 17 hour work days for past two weeks. Remember when you were an atty how crazy it could get??? Or did you job give you the luxury your presently have? (Of being able to read many hours a day- I am sooo jealous). Dawn You never know, there may be a connection. I hear that the right wing makes a habit of purchasing "choice" books, like those by Anne coulter, for example, to make them "bestsellers". And then, there are those that are supported or authored by the CIA. I think there are all kinds of dishonest gimmicks in the publishing world, it would be naive to ignore them. My choice is 'Bushworld' by Maureen Dowds, it is an incredible, independent voice... a real journalist.
  2. Given the credibility of the parties involved, I agree, and I think it gave Nixon the confidence to continue to act in the same old destructive way. What's that saying about a leopard like Garrison? -had to throw that in. Don't get mad, it's just what I believe, you don't have to agree.
  3. Okay, I get the point, but I still don't see any value in anything that Jim Garrison did. It would be like trying to rehabilitate Nixon or some criminal, it just does not work for me. Too many good researchers have exposed Garrison for what he was, and his lies, his deception and the circus he created cannot be reversed, despite your friend Lisa or anybody else who supports him. And I don't need to read what anybody says about Garrison, his own words expose his lies.
  4. I think the memo proves a great deal , are you aware of any Kennedy assassination books that discuss or contain this memo?
  5. "I said that I thought he may have had foreknowledge and was in Dallas to show his support." I think you are right.
  6. Nothing, it's just a response to your love affair with shrinks.
  7. Ron is a pretty good Kennedy assassination researcher and he claims that Nixon was in Dallas to give the assassins moral support. With the large body of evidence that implicates Nixon (the smoking gun memo etc.) and all the Bay of Pigs references that are evidently related to the assassination of John F. Kennedy, I think it is extremely naive to suggest that Richard Nixon was not a co-conspirator. As a matter of fact, personally, I have to say that I am very, very surprised if that is in fact what you actually believe. Oh well, half a concession is better than none -Nixon was just a little bit pregnant -fine, let's leave it at that, and if anybody can point to further documents of interest that implicate Richard Nixon -I wouldn't mind reading them.
  8. If you read 'Bushworld' by Maureen Dowds, and you tried to psychoanalyze any of the Bushes, you'd be a dead man. I think you should be more respectful, the Bushes are right in that regard.
  9. I suggest you read this, it's very informative. By the way, I think it's quite relevant, because, in her book, 'Bushworld', Maureen Dowds quotes Robert McNamara who says that if the US continues to be isolated from the world and it continues it's current course of action, the US and China will be at war in less than 10 years. McNamara was the hawk during the Kennedy assassination and now, he's a dove. Is there some message there, I am just wondering out loud.
  10. I am not at all resentful, I was disappointed that some people are so full of themselves.
  11. Lynne, I offered you a mirror, yet you prefer to rub excrement upon your face, and continue with your wild dance. this BTW is of the nature of a farewell. "The most dangerous of people are those misgiuded souls who believe that truth conforms to their inner needs" Jung.... SO LONG. Steve, If you are not paid to be a disinformation agent, then you are violating the practice of normal shrinks [if that is possible] who do not talk shop when they leave the office. If I was you, I would reserve my brilliant, psychological insights to billable hours.
  12. Dawn, you always condemn everybody else's effort to talk about the Kennedy assassination but you seldom share your expertise about the Kennedy assassination. I know you always come off as a "peace and love" hippy, but you can also be extremely cruel, why the mixed messages? Why don't you try and teach those uf us who are not as informed as you are? Can you direct us to key documents, rather than to books that most of us do not have time to read, or perhaps discuss the significance of key documents. A paper blizard of opinionated books about the Kennedy assassination is not very helpful unless you take the time to provide some direction, some scrutiny about the strengths and weaknesses of the books you recommend.
  13. Jason, I tend to agree with many who have suggested that Howard Hunt and Fank Sturgis were involved in the Kennedy assassination, and when you combine all that with the "smoking gun"memo, I think the main characters flesh out, and they are, Nixon and Johnson, the Watergate burglars and their anti-Castro pals, and that also includes their mafia friends like Jack Ruby, Carlos Marcello and the like. I think that's a good start and I welcome additional input for characters I have certainly missed. Thanks for a relevant question. Some of the so called "experts" that post here, think it's all been covered before and we have no right to speculate because its all been covered before.
  14. How? we're here to discuss this, Cowboy.
  15. You tried to insult me, it didn't work.
  16. BTW, JEH knew the assination was in the works prior to the act. You are absolutely correct and that is what we are here to discuss. As for your personal insults, they tell me more about your problems than anything else. By the way, Maureen Dowds incredible book is called 'Bushworld', I think you should read it because she is brilliant.
  17. In her incredible book "Bushworld", the brilliant, New York Times reporter, Maureen Dowd describes a world where thoughtlessness is thoughtfullness. I think that very well explains everything, even the responses on this thread.
  18. Have you read this Dawn? In a previous post, you indicated that you thought that Tricky Dicky was involved. Who else do you think was involved? Do you agree that Johnson, Nixon and Hoover were probably all involved?
  19. I'm not here to be nice, I am here to share evidence about the Kennedy assassination. I thought that is what this message board was for. You have a Kennedy assassination website, but you prefer not to share your insight, that's rather strange.
  20. My opponents do not want to talk about the Kennedy assassination, they want to resurrect heroes, so I think I need to clarify my reluctance to join them. To be brief: They are trying to create the impression that Kevin Costner is a real, Kennedy assassination researcher. Jim Garrison was a fraud. Now if multiple sources [Lisa Peon, Dawn Meredith, Joan Mellen-Scaife and others misguided] coroborate the same unreliable story, it does not become more reliable. Study original documents and reach your own conclusions, the people have reached the right conclusion, despite media darlings like Gerald Posner.
  21. John, Harold Weisberg always lamented the media failure to expose the truth about the Kennedy assassination, and the fact that most Americans do not believe that Oswald acted alone has nothing to do with the media, in my opinion, it has to do with the common sense and the decency of ordinary American citizens. A little digression: 400 bipartisan historians, both Republicans and Democrats, signed a letter indicating that the ground to impeach President Clinton did not exist, yet Clinton was impeached. Did the media do anything about that? Did the media ridicule the McCarthyite effort to impeach the President? Hardly. Now I wish Dawn would stop getting angry because I do not like Garrison groupies like Lisa Pease, because she is going to blow a fuse if she doesn't chill. If you really want to understand the absolute impotence of the American media, read "Bushworld" by New York Times reporter, Maureen Dowd. Neo-Cons control the world.
  22. SMOKING GUN MEMO A key question to getting to the bottom of any scandal is: "what did they know and when did they know it?" The above memo proves that J. Edgar Hoover did not spend any time investigating the assassination of John F. Kennedy, all the evidence was concocted by the Watergate burglars, amongst everybody else who had a hand in organizing the plot to kill the President of the United States. Frankly, I am shocked by the failure to discuss this memo on this message board. As you know, there are many eager learners, like that high school student and myself, who would like to learn as much as possible. I do not think that it is possible to make head or tails here, without a thorough analysis about ALL the implications of the above memo. I trust we can all agree on at least that.
  23. I think this is the smoking gun, cover up memo. But of course, you probably already knew about it, so why don't you put it in historical context for us.
