  1. Ashton, Is Dawn reading you correctly vis a vis her "NO shot from the front" interpretation of your view? Charles, I am very chary of addressing this at all in this thread because it potentially could open the door to all manner of off-topic garbage. I am going to address it once to answer you briefly because I believe you're asking in good faith, but strictly speaking the question is not at all germane to this thread or to the very clear and inarguable evidence regarding the throat wound. It also is counterproductive to the entire reason I have focused narrowly on the throat wound in starting this thread, which is embodied in the following definition: ANALYSIS: the separating of any material or abstract entity into its constituent elements; the separation of an intellectual or material whole into its constituent parts for individual study. The throat wound is one, and only one, constituent part of a case that has been made by various parties for a front shot or shots. I have neither desire nor intention to leap from the specific case of the throat wound to a general supposition about the presence or absence of a sniper ever having been in some location forward of the motorcade. So in answer I'll say only this: 1. Dawn did not quote me; she assayed to speak for me, and despite her many sterling qualities, speaking for me is not one of them. 2. I have discussed the head shot vis a vis the likelihood of a front shot in other threads in this forum where the discussion was appropriate, including but not limited to this message et seq. in the thread "Who were the shooters?, as well as in this message et seq. in the thread "The Head Wound Explained, and even in a thread I started called "The Back Wound Considered, A Window of Opportunity". If anyone wants to discuss either the head shot or the back shot with me, I'll be happy to take such discussions further in those threads. 3. In another message in the thread "Who were the shooters, I provided a graphic and considerable evidence and discussion going to the question of the likelihood of any shooter ever having been behind the picket fence or in that vicinity. I also graphically explored, by request, many other proposed locations for an outdoor shooter in that thread, and found them all wanting in material ways. But my tests and views on that are memorialized in that thread and need no further discussion here. 4. I've said it before and I'll say it again in yet other terms: It seems highly unlikely to me (not to say bunghole-plug dumb) that sophisticated, highly-trained intelligence agents would plot for months, if not years, to set up an assassination of the President of the United States, to set up a Communist patsy to take the fall for it, to set up the location for the patsy behind and above the target at the time of the shooting—and then have the real sniper(s) shoot from in front of the target. Could one possibly conceive of anything more stupid in terms of a sophisticated frame-up of Oswald? I hope that answers your question, and now I hope that people responsibly will restrict discussion in this thread to discussion of matters related to the throat wound, which I believe deserves a great deal of attention all by itself. If the wound in John F. Kennedy's throat was not caused by a bullet or fragment, but by another device, it truly is proof beyond any doubt whatsoever that Lee Harvey Oswald was not a "lone nut assassin," and that there was, in fact, a sophisticated and far-reaching conspiracy to murder. 2. The hat is an innocent bystander. Leave the hat alone. Always nice to see you wandering in these woods, too, JG. [CUE RIM SHOT AND CYMBAL CRASH] If you're going to steal somebody's material, John, surely you can do better than Henny Youngman. Yes, the Ivy League set does seem to like its larceny in layers. I think they must have been fans of 3D chess. Hougan's work is brilliant and a tireless source of inspiration. But, yes, something was missing. An interesting sidelight is that the information in this and the related threads does not conflict with Hougan in any terribly significant way, and owes him a debt of gratitude. She had much better hats. Ashton

Mein beret brought out ze green flecks in ze bunker draperies so nicely. Heil be seeing you. It's why we fight. Charles P.S. -- Are zere any Gages in ze family? Maybe you can get Purvis to answer the question I've asked him umpteen times now that he keeps evading—while chasing me through threads trying to smear me. Here's the question I keep asking Purvis that he won't answer: Isn't it true that gaining officer and instructor status in the Special Forces, as you attained, required considerable training in brainwashing and coercive persuasion techniques, including but not limited to familiarity with works referenced in the CIA manual "KUBARK Counterintelligence Interrogation," et seq.? That's not "personal": that goes to social engineering, and I think it's a very, very relevant disclosure that should be made, pertinent to exactly what these forums are addressing. Ashton
  4. Not in my back yard either. I did not say anywhere that there was "no throat wound at all." There certainly was a throat wound. Allowing for language difficulties, I invite you to please carefully re-read the thread from the beginning. Ashton
  5. He was not DOA upon his arrival at Parkland, period. The record is inarguable. For the intent and purpose of the assassination of the leader of the most powerful nation in the world, he especially was not dead. Period. The record is inarguable. Ashton
  6. We aren't speaking of the head wound(s). Read the topic subject. Please try to stay on topic. I've fully addressed the headshot(s) in appropriate threads, as you well know. If you want to continue discussion of any and all headshots, I invite you to keep order and common netiquette in the forum by posting to one of those threads or to start your own thread instead of attempting to hijack this one. Ashton Gray
  7. Ohhhhhhh, that's right! [HEAD SMACK] What's the matter with me: I had almost forgot that you had graced us with a "handwritten respons" [sic] from the man who destroyed all evidence of the throat wound. By the way, why have you still not answered my question I asked you repeatedly nine months ago, and asked you again just last week, and that you evaded yet again? Here it is again: Isn't it true that gaining officer and instructor status in the Special Forces, as you attained, required considerable training in brainwashing and coercive persuasion techniques, including but not limited to familiarity with works referenced in the CIA manual "KUBARK Counterintelligence Interrogation," et seq.? That's not "personal": that goes to social engineering, and I think it's a very, very relevant disclosure that should be made, pertinent to exactly what these forums are addressing, and especially pertinent to what you are attempting to do to this thread. You were right on time: I set my watch by it. And isn't it true that gaining officer and instructor status in the Special Forces, as you attained, required considerable training in brainwashing and coercive persuasion techniques, including but not limited to familiarity with works referenced in the CIA manual "KUBARK Counterintelligence Interrogation," et seq.? 8. This is one candidate: Please keep in mind that John F. Kennedy was not DOA at Parkland Hospital. However grave the man's condition may have been when he arrived in Trauma Room One, it's rather relevant to note that the President of the United States was still alive. Let me say it again: the President of the United States arrived at Parkland Hospital still alive. That would be a trifle inconvenient for the perpetrators if there were, in fact, a conspiracy afoot to assassinate the man and pin it on a Communist patsy, who, even as the President arrived at the hospital, was being run to ground and framed for the murder of a Dallas cop, wouldn't you agree? If it was necessary to make a hole in the throat of the President of the United States and then immediately eradicate the evidence of it before anyone could get a very good or close look at it, it nonetheless was necessary to "explain" it somehow as part of the shooting once anyone had seen it at all. Ashton Of course. Makes sense. Interesting idea Ashton but I have a slight problem with one of the assertions you made in support of it. JFK may have been alive--technically--when admitted to Parkland but I doubt there would have been a realistic chance of recovery, given his wounds. I doubt it too, Mark. But "doubt" is the operative word. If there were a conspiracy to murder the President, there was no room for doubt. See also the Strange Case of Phineas P. Cage that I've just posted in response to Charles on this subject. I'm suggesting the possibility that a device similar to the piercing needle I pictured above could have been employed, and in very short order indeed. I am suggesting that if some similar device had been used—either during the removal of the clothing, or even before it was removed, by sliding such a device between the shirt plackets under the tie—it would have produced a wound consistent with descriptions by all eyewitnesses. I believe that if such a device had in fact been used, it most likely would have been employed to administer a large quantity of some kind of toxin that would have been completely unsuspected, yet known to be fatal, and for which there was no existing test for detection in a human. However improbable some may consider it, it yet is not impossible—which clearly is the case in re a bullet having caused such a wound as has been described, which I have demonstrated dispositively. By hand, as I described just above. If the CIA were involved in any such conspiracy to assassinate Kennedy, at all relevant times they had a funded section devoted to methods of assassination. Of course if one believes they "told all" to the Church Committee (give me a moment to catch my breath), then of course they had no such means of murder. Ashton
  9. Psychiatry's favorite form of butchery for decades, the prefrontal lobotomy, was introduced into the annals of "science" when one Phineas P. Gage got careless packing gunpowder into a hole on a railroad project and forgot to pour in sand over it. When he went to tamp the sand down—that he had forgotten to pour—the tamping iron sparked against rock, setting off the gunpowder that he had remembered to pour. The tamping iron was three feet (1 meter) long with a diameter of 1.25 inches, weighing thirteen and a half pounds (6.12 kg). It was blown right smack through ol' Phineas's head with such force that it landed almost thirty yards (27 meters) behind him. He lived (in a manner of speaking) and became a sideshow attraction at P.T. Barnum's New York museum. (And of course without further case study the prefrontal lobotomy was born. Such is the "science" of psychiatry.) Indeed. Ashton

  11. There isn't an "if" involved. Look at the animations in my first post. There could not have been a bullet wound in his throat where a bullet wound was claimed to have been without it having gone through the tie and shirt. No bullet went through the tie and shirt. I'm not discussing it as an "if" until you tell me first how a bullet could have gotten through his tie and shirt without damaging them. Which means I won't be discussing any such "if," because it's patently impossible. I believe Mark Twain was onto something when he said, "Only kings, presidents, editors, and people with tapeworms have the right to use the editorial 'we.'" I don't see President Kennedy clutching his throat anywhere in the Zapruder film. Kennedy's hands are never at or around his throat or his tie or his collar. If you will clutch your own throat, you will realize in an instant that nowhere in the Zapruder film does Kennedy do anything at all like you are doing when clutching your own throat. At Zapruder 237, his fists have flown, clenched, up in front of his face: By Zapruder 260, his right hand is down by his chest, and his left forefinger is pointing down to his chest: No. It was a puncture wound in his throat. It was 1.5 to 3 (or as many as 5 in one account) millimeters in diameter. It could not have been made by a missile of any description, traveling in any direction, in Dealey Plaza. It is physically impossible. Ashton Gray
  12. I'd be very interested in seeing your slides on this. If you don't still have my e-mail address from the image you sent me last year, PM me. Yes, nothing possibly could have penetrated Kennedy's throat from the front at the location of the tracheostomy: not a bullet, a bullet fragment, a glass splinter, a June bug, or a beer keg. When the shootin' was done, the tie and shirt fully covered the location where the tracheostomy was done, and the tie and shirt were intact when they were removed at Parkland Hospital. It equally is impossible for a bullet, a bullet fragment, a bone fragment, or a Volkswagon to have made an exiting puncture wound in that location that was 1.5 to 5 (or more—depends on who you listen to) millimeters in diameter—but to have then come to a screeching halt at the instant it touched the inside of the shirt collar. No such exiting missile is anywhere in evidence, either. I didn't feel much like getting into that in the original article. Come to think about it, I don't feel much like getting into it now. There isn't much to get into: the concept is too ludicrous to entertain. In "My Little Chickadee," Mae West is asked by a judge: "Are you trying to show contempt for this court?" She replies: "On the contrary, your honor; I'm trying to hide it." Ashton
  13. My rather comprehensive response to at least the throat-shot aspect of this is not a response, per se, but an article that I have just posted in a veritable miracle of synchronicity, There Was No Bullet Wound in John F. Kennedy's Throat. Ashton
  14. "But the Parkland doctors said..." Well, what did they say about the wound to the throat? They didn't say much of anything that a same-size group of longshoremen or checkout girls couldn't have said about it, with just as much contradiction of each other, but scarcely more. What they didn't say is the hyperinflated mythology that rages like a fire-and-brimstone tent revival in the "research community," where Garrison-Book thumpin' Front-Shooter Faithful will swear on the Holy Gun-Totin' Ghost(s) that every medical personnel in Parkland 'lowed that there was a bullet hole in the throat, and that it was an entrance wound, so JFK absolutely had to have been shot from the front. Well, while the Front-Shooters all hold hands and sing "I shall not be, I shall not be moved," while they steadfastly refuse the evidence of their own eyes and stare fixedly away from the heathenistic animations above, let's you and me just go all-out heathen and heretic, and consult the actual sworn testimony of these sainted Parkland personnel to find out what in fact came out of their mouths—summarized and counted rather clinically and dispassionately here in this summary of sworn testimony about the celebrated lower-throat stigmata: If you're having any trouble with that image immediately above, you can access it through these links as: a direct browswer link to the image, or, a PDF file of the same chart, or, a web page with the chart as an html table, or, even download it to your default download location as a Microsoft Excel file. Assuming you have the chart in front of you in some form, it can be seen that out of 12 Parkland Hospital personnel who testified under oath about the throat wound—10 doctors and 2 nurses—9 were ambiguous about or flat out didn't know whether the wound was a bullet entrance wound or a bullet exit wound. In fact, fully half of the personnel at issue, 6 of them, said under oath that they never saw the throat (neck) wound at all, or saw the area only after Dr. Malcolm Perry had electively sliced a gaping tracheotomy gash right through the center of it—conveniently eradicating all evidence of the wound, however it had been made. This edited chart below reflects, then, the only actual eyewitnesses of record—except now I've moved the count for Dr. Ronald Jones from the EXIT WOUND column to the ENTRANCE WOUND column as a result of a discussion with someone in this forum that took place while this article was in progress—not because Jones actually made a definitive declatory statement that it was an entrance wound, but because his own ambiguous statements could be interpreted either way, and I was happy to concede the benefit of the doubt: So of the six actual eyewitnesses, half said it could have been either an entrance or an exit wound, one said he thought it was an exit wound, and two people in the entire world who claim they saw the wound—including the ambivalent Jones—said they thought it was a bullet entrance wound. Two people. Two. In the entire world. Two. (I probably should be more politic than to mention that one of those two—Dr. Ronald Jones—lied under oath about steroids that were administered to Kennedy in Trauma Room One in order to hide that fact that JFK's personal physician, Admiral Burkley, had been in the room and supplied the steroids, because it's a very inconvenient time for Burkley to have been there. But why should I start being politic now?) The utterly simple, if lamentable and painful (to some), truth that explains in full the conflicting opinions and assertions about whether it was a bullet entrance wound or a bullet exit wound is that it was not a bullet wound at all. Now, there's a good deal more that could be said about all this, and some of it I have said before, and some of it I could further say, but being a heathen and a heretic is only a part-time position and doesn't pay well at all, so for the moment I believe I will give this over to the Front-Shot Faithful and let the ghost-hunt begin. Again. Ashton Gray
  15. If your favorite indoor sport is trying to figure out or "prove" whether the purported bullet wound that "everybody knows" was in John F. Kennedy's throat was an inny or an outty, this article is useless to you, so please pass on by and find something else to do. If you have invested tens or hundreds or even thousands of hours of your life chasing after elusive no-see-ums like Hat Man, Badge Man, Dog Man, or any other Ethereal Phantom of the Grassy Knoll (hereinafter EPGK), or some other gun-toting h'aint haunting the Texas School Book Depository parking lot, or the Grassy Knoll retaining wall, or the pergola, or the overpass, or the sewage drain, or any bush, tree, fence, crevice, steam pipe, rock, leaf, or blade of grass anywhere outdoors in the width and breadth of Dealey Plaza and surrounds, which Ethereal Phantom you are sure must have existed in order to deliver the alleged bullet wound to the throat of John F. Kennedy, this article could send you into violent, shaking paroxysms of furious denial. You might break something, and nobody wants that. Of course, I can't stop you from reading on. But with these caveats, the author is not responsible and cannot be held accountable for any damage to persons or property that ensues if you do: you have been warned. There was no bullet wound in John F. Kennedy's throat. It categorically is impossible. That is the extremely simple reason why at all relevant times there has been, and continues to be, infinite unresolved and unresolvable argument over whether the throat wound was a bullet entrance wound or a bullet exit wound. It wasn't a bullet wound at all. Ipso facto, the question of bullet entrance or bullet exit has no answer or resolution because there was no bullet involved. To continue seeking an "answer" is an idiot's game. Therefore all search for an outdoor gunman that could have delivered such a "bullet wound" to the throat is nothing more than a search for a phantasm that never existed, who could not have shot a bullet that never existed, in order to cause a bullet wound that never was. The net result of fervent industry devoted to such searches for nonexistent answers, gunmen, guns, and bullets, of course, would be never to find the phantom gunman, never to find the phantom gun, never to find a provable or even plausible location for such phantom gunman, never to find a bullet that created such a phantom bullet wound, and not to have in hand a single particle of physical evidence of there ever having been such a phantom bullet wound, bullet, gun, or gunman. And that is exactly where the situation stands at this instant. The paragraph above is the precise net result of over 40 years of investigation, Congressional hearings, testimony, affidavits, analysis, discussion, symposiums, conventions, books, interviews, arguments, berserk speculation, and the densest population of elusive ghosts since Disney built the Haunted Mansion as far as a gunman for a "bullet wound" to the throat of John F. Kennedy is concerned. In fact, the only valid physical evidence in existence that can be seen with the eyes—as opposed to a Niagara of so-called "testimony," which we'll get to—proves in a glance beyond a reasonable doubt—at least to an impartial and reasonably prudent person who hasn't already made up his mind otherwise—that a bullet wound to John F. Kennedy's throat at the location where "eyewitnesses" claimed there had been a bullet wound categorically is impossible absent extensive damage to John F. Kennedy's tie and shirt—which damage did not and does not exist. This already was demonstrated at the beginning of this year with this animation: As if that weren't enough to demonstrate conclusively to any rational unbiased observer's satisfaction that no bullet could have gone into John F. Kennedy's throat from the front at the location of the tracheostomy butchery, it was augmented with this animation: Of course a wink is as good as a nod to a blind horse (which truth surely must extend to blind jackasses), so naturally there was considerably more braying and haying and naysaying to endure. Here is another comparison to the profile autopsy photo, this one with a profile of JFK from the non-part side of his head (since no one has ever determined with any certainty whether the profile autopsy photo was flopped or not), and with inerrant predictability, it again proves conclusively that no bullet possibly could have entered the throat from the front at the purported location of a bullet throat wound: Well, disinformation crows have to caw, and the Front Shot Faithful cannot stand to have their faith shook, so of course this, too, undoubtedly will be attacked with every specious and nonsensical catcall and hoohah and distraction that can be contrived. [Yawn.] Yet another animation, created with a front view of a dress shirt and tie sized to closely approximate Kennedy's autopsy profile, demonstrates further how cartoonishly farcical the idea is that a bullet could have entered JFK's throat without penetrating four layers of shirt fabric and at least fifteen layers of tie fabric (yes: four layers of shirt fabric and fifteen layers of tie fabric): No dress shirt in history ever spontaneously sagged like a Salvador Dali painting, no man's tie in history ever spontaneously loosened in the manner necessary to have allowed a bullet to enter John F. Kennedy's throat from the front at the indicated location without going through the tie and shirt. To pass through the knot of the tie, a bullet from the front would have had to penetrate the tie not once, but at least five times, as shown by this diagram of a four-in-hand knot: Because a man's tie is three layers thick (fabric on both sides with a "stiffener" fabric between), that means that any such bullet—had it ever existed, which it did not—would have had to pass through at least fifteen layers of tie material. There would not be just one hole in the tie: there would be at least five holes in the tie—which in fact would be holes through fifteen layers of fabric. And what is the physical evidence? Inarguably, there are zero bullet holes in the tie. Then there's the shirt. The plackets of a man's dress shirt are doubled on the side where the button holes are and on the side where the buttons are, so that's four layers of shirt fabric that any such bullet would have had to pass through after passing through the tie. The physical evidence? There are zero bullet holes in the button and button hole plackets of the shirt. The physical evidence of record is that there is not one bullet hole in either tie or shirt where so many bullet holes would have to be in order for a bullet from the front to have penetrated JFK's throat at the indicated location. There are none. Count with me again: zero. Why? The only possible answer is as elementary as it is obvious to any but the blindest eye of blind faith and bullheaded bias: because no bullet ever entered John F. Kennedy's throat from the front. And if a bullet didn't enter from the front, then no bullet ever entered John F. Kennedy's throat at all. "But the Parkland doctors said..." Well, just what did they say? We'll take up that question in Part 2, below. Ashton Gray
  16. Dual: 1. Enlarge Oswald's legend as a die-hard Communist. 2. Provide a "Castro was behind it" snipe hunt that would run for 16,038 days (if we can mercifully end it here and now). Of course they didn't "intend for Castro to be removed." They had put the bastard in power! Tosh Plumlee was flying missions for CIA from 1956 through at least 1958 running guns from the Florida Keys to Castro and the 26th of July Movement! It was Raul Castro who got Plumlee off the island when his plane went down on one of the runs in 1958, and Fidel gave Plumlee a fatigue hat, for the love of Christ! What kind of hoser actually thinks CIA didn't have any idea what Castro was when they armed him and backed him and put him into power, but then suddenly had their heads spin around like Linda Blair on crack in 1960 and realize with a blinding euphoria of cognition that he had to be [LEWIS BLACK]"remooooooooved"[/LEWIS BLACK]? CIA had a perfect track record of taking out every leader they ever decided to take out throughout the '50s. I'm sick to puking at hearing about the "OooooOOOOOOooooooooo, CIA plots to kill Castro." CIA never tried to take out Castro. If they had, he would have been taken out. Period. CIA had over ten years to cook up that "we tried so hard to kill Castro" science fiction before it was "exposed" in the Holy Church Committee—which was so astute it couldn't find out that CIA was running a secret Remote Viewing program with stolen Scientology materials six miles from where the Congressrats sat with open mouths listening to CIA fictions about mafia goons and exploding cigars, then let Helms and Gottlieb walk scott free after they practically bragged that they'd destroyed all the records that mattered. It's the same reason the Bay of Pigs "failed." Failed, hell! It never was organized to take Castro out at all. Form follows function. Whatever the form was, it was a servomechanism to the intention and purpose. That was to murder Kennedy and get away with it. So far, they have. Ashton
  17. The publication put out immediately after the assassination of John F. Kennedy by the Cuban Student Directorate/DRE says in pertinent part (my bold emphasis added, but all-caps in original): Considering it of top importance we want to reproduce a letter from our Delegate in New Orleans showing how the International Communism operates. ...The Americans started to shout [at Lee Harvey Oswald], "TRAITOR", "COMMUNIST", "GO TO CUBA", "KILL HIM". ...I asked Oswald to explain to me...whether it was "The Fair Play for Cuba Committee" or "The Fair Play for Russia Committee". ...After newspaperman Stuckeley's question, he [Oswald] declared himself a MARXIST. ...In the debate with the delegate of the Cuban Student Directorate in New Orleans he [Oswald] proclaimed himself as a marxist-leninist... . In the PBS Frontline presentation, Who Was Lee Harvey Oswald, FBI agent James P. Hosty says (my emphasis added): The original complaint that the police department filed on Lee Oswald, around midnight on the 22nd of November, said that Lee Oswald did, "in furtherance of an international communist conspiracy, assassinate President John F. Kennedy." Johnson was fearful that if this had gotten out, it would inflame public opinion and could possibly lead to World War III. This is exactly how World War I began, with an assassination. From Attorney General Nicholas Katzenbach's memo of 25 November 1963 (my emphasis added): Speculation about Oswald's motivation ought to be cut off, and we should have some basis for rebutting thought that this was a Communist conspiracy... . Unfortunately the facts on Oswald seem about too pat - too obvious (Marxist, Cuba, Russian wife, etc.). The Dallas police have put out statements on the Communist conspiracy theory, and it was they who were in charge when he was shot and thus silenced. "Too pat," indeed. "Too obvious," indeed. But not too pat for a patsy. The CIA propaganda message for Lee Harvey Oswald—black propaganda and every shade of grey—was that he was any and every shade of Communist. Ashton Gray
  18. [Ashton long-winded yap was here: mercifully removed in this reprise by its author.—A.G.] Hi Ashton, Point taken and understood. I would like to point out that I used the word allusion with reference to Scientologists (not Scientlogy) with consideration. Mentioning Swann in the way that TRDT does makes little sense - until one realises who Swann was and what he brought to the table of RV - unless one considers it to be an indirect or implied reference. To reiterate, though, point taken and understood. [Very, very small]>>> Oh. Heh. Sorry, Gary: didn't mean to beat you senseless with something you already understood. I see now how you were using "allusion" in perfectly proper sense and reference. Maybe just as well, though, that the point has been put up in neon lights for any who follow and might not understand the subtlety. My opinion is that TRDT probably knew very well what he/she/it was actually pointing a long bony finger toward in the allusions to Swann and Puthoff, so your choice of "allusion" was le mot juste. Since I'm here, though, and have done my mea culpas for gross overclarification, I think I'm going to take this opportunity to post to this thread two anonymous messages that appeared in several usenet groups in April 2004, about three months after the series posted by "The Real Deep Throat." I've been iffy about posting them because there are some very large assertions in them, many of which have no independent confirmation or documentation whatsoever that I am aware of. On the other hand, they also contain pointers to names and events that decidedly have borne fruit in my own continuing research. However, between the two messages—the second being a response to the first—they reflect obliquely at times and very directly at other times on the same issues and events that are express or implied in the "Real Deep Throat" series. So here goes, for what it's worth. This first message, called "28th May 1972," was posted in several usenet newsgroups on 6 April 2004: From: Frog <FrogRemailer@bigfoot.com> Message-ID: <OSQARPQ938083.49375@Gilgamesh-Frog.org> Subject: 28th May 1972 Newsgroups: misc.legal Date: 6 Apr 2004 11:52:38 +0100 Comments: This message probably did not originate from the above address. It was automatically remailed by one or more anonymous mail services. Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard was taken out on 28th May 1972 by agents working for and with American Central Intelligence under the direction of Richard Helms. The staging area was Morocco. American and Moroccan government assets, transportation and logistics were utilised in the job. CIA assets were assisted by two United States Special Forces agents who had been tasked earlier in Viet Nam for the operation and subsequently had been insinuated into the Scientology organisation in positions close to Hubbard, plus a third distanced from the task. Also assisting were CIA-placed embassy personnel in Morocco, Madrid and Copenhagen, as well as several operatives of the Commonwealth in mission-critical positions within the Scientology organisation. The job was architected to coincide with the international focus provided by Richard Nixon's trip to Moscow. Because of the extreme nature of the international crime an alibi for the dates surrounding 28th May 1972 was planned and provided by CIA to its senior assets involved in the Hubbard task. The alibi was accomplished using a group of Cuban CIA operatives and served the collateral purpose of eliminating a political figure who would have encumbered CIA plans for the aftermath of the operation. The alibi for the mission dates relied on self- and mutually-incriminating testimony by the Cubans and by the senior CIA assets concerning more minor illegal activities far away from the staging area where the senior CIA assets had in fact been on and around 28th May 1972, carrying out the Hubbard mission. In order that the alibi be impenetrable it led, as planned, to the conviction of the Cubans, and of the senior CIA assets as well, on criminal charges with minimal penalties under conditions prearranged by Helms et al. All eventually were compensated for their trouble, some of them handsomely. CIA control of the legal matters was coordinated through Gall, Lane, Powell & Kilcullen (later Lane Powell Spears Lubersky LLP). To commemorate for themselves their successful operation, which culminated in the termination of Hubbard, the principals arranged through Meade Emory of Lane Powell to have the Church of Spiritual Technology incorporated on the tenth anniversary of the task, 28th May 1982, in order that the corporation be final and sole beneficiary of the Hubbard estate under their governance. Persons still closely associated with intelligence and defence in the United States and even intimately related to the present administration were complicit in the planning and execution of the task itself as well as in the subsequent leveraging and exploitation of Hubbard's material in intelligence and defence programmes and activities internationally. The second anonymous message, below, was posted on 10 April 2004 in response to the one above. This copy that was sent to me came from alt.politics. Our own Douglas Caddy is mentioned by the poster, along with quite a few other names. I have a note about the Caddy reference at the end: From: Anonymous <BigappleRemailer@Optonline.Net> Date: 10 Apr 2004 06:26:36 -0000 Message-ID: <QHFFN85438087.1018055556@anonymous> Subject: Re: 28th May 1972 Newsgroups: alt.politics References: <3c3b539a826d094f525209c0f1990c2f@mixmaster.it> Comments: This message did not originate from the above address. Entered the White House on June 16, 1971, on pretext of being one of the "officers of the White House News Photographers Association" who were having a meeting with Nixon that day. This was immediately after Liddy had been moved over to room 16 in the old Exec Office building with the CIA hotline and scrambler under Krogh and Young. Met with Liddy and less than a month later was in Safi Morocco meeting with Starkey and co. over the Meister murder ("suicide"), July 13,1971. Briefing them on what was coming down the pike really. Same day Hassan Deuce executed the leaders of the 1971 coup attempt on tv. In the '72 Hubbard job Copenhagen was reporting to Pat Gray. Hoover had been taken out by Baldwin on May 2, 1972. Baldwin reported in to McCord the same day. Gray was put in to replace Hoover and was in the loop. McCord sent Baldwin north to Maryland to set up the Wallace hit for two weeks later, on May 15, because Wallace had to be gotten out of the picture or the Hubbard job couldn't go down. They blew it, but Wallace was hurt bad enough that he was out and the Hubbard op got a green light. > as well as several operatives of the Commonwealth > in mission-critical positions within the Scientology > organisation. One CIA asset from Gall, Lane, Powell & Kilcullen was Douglas Caddy, very thick with Robert Bennett and Hunt. Caddy was the hook-up to Emory who was connected with Lane Powell while legislation attorney for the Joint Committee on Taxation, which was the same time all this was going down. Emory started the tax litigation ball rolling on the Hubbard groups as soon as Hubbard was in the bag. He got paid off later with the Ass't. Commish job at IRS and ran the whole GO document gag for CIA from there. > To commemorate for themselves their successful operation, > which culminated in the termination of Hubbard, the > principals arranged through Meade Emory of Lane Powell to > have the Church of Spiritual Technology incorporated on the > tenth anniversary of the task, 28th May 1982, in order that > the corporation be final and sole beneficiary of the Hubbard > estate under their governance. > > Persons still closely associated with intelligence and > defence in the United States and even intimately related to > the present administration were complicit in the planning and > execution of the task itself as well as in the subsequent > leveraging and exploitation of Hubbard's material in > intelligence and defence programmes and activities > internationally. Bush Sr. was deep cover CIA doing the diplomat gig, and got bumped to US ambassador to the U.N. in '72 and was in the loop on the Hubbard job and the embassy traffic on it. So he later got bumped to DCI. I never thought I'd see the lid come off this one. What I want to know is if Blair is blowing it open because of all the stink on Iraq now or if it's a lower leak. The Brits have their own stink on the Hubbard trick and I don't see the upside. -=- This message was posted via two or more anonymous remailing services. About the Caddy reference: In June of last year, I asked Douglas Caddy about Meade Emory, and he replied: "I do not recognize the name of Meade Emory, and for that reason am unaware of any role that he played in whatever matter you apparently have in mind." There are so many hints, clues, and pointers in the above two posts, when coupled with the messages of "The Real Deep Throat," and when further coupled with the press releases of the Public Research Foundation, that perhaps you can see why I likened it all to the Great Rhombicuboctahedra. Just one of the events that really has made an indelible impression on me, though, is the 17 August 1972 brutal execution of Muhammad Oufkir, Defense Minister for Morocco—which of course was reported as a "suicide" in the wake of a failed assassination attempt on his boss, King Hussan II, in which Oufkir purportedly was the leader. In case you're wondering if your eyes failed you, no, none of the messages of "The Real Deep Throat" or the two other posts in this message mention Oufkir by name or this event. It came out of subsequent research, pulling some of the strings whose loose ends hang out in all the above. If, in fact, Moroccon officials had been involved with CIA on such a black and wet operation in late May 1972 as is alleged in the first of the above two posts, it couldn't possibly have been done without Oufkir's participation and knowledge. Of course the "attempt" on Hussan II (in which the attack planes had been loaded somehow with—wait for it—blanks) and Oufkir's "suicide" (in which he was shot repeatedly from behind, one bullet blowing out one of his eyes and his sunglasses, according to later revelations by an eyewitness) happened right in the middle of "Watergate," after the 17 June 1972 arrests, and almost exactly one month before the indictments were handed down on 15 September 1972. Just days before Oufkir's "suicide," on 14 August 1972, representatives from CIA's Operational Technology Division (OTD) and Office of Research and Development (ORD) had been busy conducting experiments in extrasensory perception at Stanford Research Institute (SRI) with Scientology OT Ingo Swann under the oversight and coordination of Scientology OT Hal Puthoff. Swann's results were "so startlingly accurate" that the OTD and ORD representatives suggested that the work be continued and expanded. CIA's Sidney Gottlieb reviewed the data, approved another $2,500 work order, and "encouraged the development of a more complete research plan." Then over in Morocco, Oufkir got his head mostly blown off for him. I think I'll leave it there for now. Ashton
  19. As ever, Robert, your keen insights advance knowledge with a commanding mastery of the facts at issue rivaled only by the style with which you present them. Damned shame you have such a stump as Gratz for a foil. I would submit just a few suggested minor refinements: I merely would point out that while we have confirmation from both ends of the conversation that contact took place, both ends were on the payroll of the CIA, who of course are professional liars, and there is no independent confirmation or evidence whatsoever concerning the actual content of the conversation. This is one of the most prevalent methods of disinformation in all the annals of black ops, one that I covered last year in an article in the Watergate forum, CIA Psy-Ops of Watergate and Beyond, which I quote from in pertinent part here: CLOSED DOORS AND CLANDESTINE INTERACTION A psy-op technique heavily relied upon in "Watergate"...is alleged private, secret talks and meetings and activities between two (or a few) of the principal actors, with nothing more than their own assertions of what the subject and substance of such an interaction was. An almost inconceivable amount of what we know as "Watergate" is built on no more foundation, and it is no foundation at all. It often is pure fiction. In most instances where we literally are forced to rely on the accounts of a small number of the co-conspirators interacting, one of more of the persons involved has known CIA background, connections, clearances, employment, or all four. The Watergate literature is so strewn with one-on-one encounters that the exceptions are easier to count than the instances. All of the people involved in these countless clandestine interactions have been solidly documented as having told knowing, willful lies, even under oath, about these same events. Therefore, it is of an importance that cannot be overstated to recognize, in each instance where a private meeting or phone call purportedly takes place between two criminal co-conspirators, that the only thing that can be known with any relative certainty is that such an interchange took place. And so it is in the Case of the Cuban Student Directorate Phone Call. This is perhaps the most telling datum of the lot. It is entirely consistent with the stateside incarnation of Cuban Student Directorate/DRE having been at all relevant times a CIA front operating as an integral part of CIA machinations that culminated with the assassination of Kennedy. The DRE essentially dried up after the assassination, though not formally being laid to rest until "a suitable period of mourning," as the saying goes, in 1966. It bears noting that its arch nemesis in this drama, the Fair Play for Cuba Committee (FPCC), also folded its tents and disappeared in the night immediately after the assassination. Given this duality of demise, it then is only fitting to glance in the direction of the genesis of these two entities whose strident opposition looms so large in the Oswald legend and the assassination—and the glance becomes a fixed stare. Consider this small portion of select entries from the timeline of the first few months of 1960 for the context—keeping in mind that CIA always plays both sides of the game: 18 January 1960 The first meeting of CIA's Cuban Task Force, part of Operation 40, is chaired by Tracy Barnes in his office. It is attended by David Atlee Phillips, E. Howard Hunt, Jack Esterline, and Gerry Droller (a.k.a. Frank Bender). 1 c. February c. 1960 Bernard Barker is evacuated from Cuba where has been "a regular contact of the Federal Bureau of Investigation," but has been "turned over to the Agency [CIA]" since "mid-1959." He is "hired by the Agency" for "work among exile groups." 15 c. February 1960 The Directorio Revolucionario Estudiantil (DRE), also known as the Cuban Student Directorate, is formed by Alberto Muller, Ernesto Travieso, and Juan Manual Salvat, young Catholic students at the University of Havana. 4 March 1960 La Coubre, a ship flying a Belgian flag, explodes in Havana Bay. It is loaded with arms and ammunition that have been sent to help defend Cuba's revolution from its enemies. The explosion kills 75 people and over 200 are injured. [NOTE:Fabian Escalante, an officer of the Department of State Security (G-2), later claims that this was the first successful act carried out by CIA's Operation 40.] 15 c. March 1960 E. Howard Hunt is summoned to CIA headquarters from Montevideo and named to be "chief of political action for a project recommended by the National Security Council and just approved by President Eisenhower: to assist Cuban exiles in overthrowing Castro." V.P. Richard Nixon secretly is "White House action officer" for the covert plan to overthrow Castro. Marine General Robert Cushman (same boy Hunt had shared an office with at CIA, and who will furnish Hunt with all the props involved in Watergate) is Nixon's "senior military aide" in this covert plan, and is the go-between for Nixon and Hunt, purportedly telling Hunt to "inform him of any project difficulties the Vice President might be able to resolve." 5 April 1960 The formation of the Fair Play for Cuba Committee (FPCC) is announced at a cocktail party given by the Cuban Conulate, followed by a full-page ad placed in the New York Times the following day announcing that the purpose of organization is to promulgate "the truth about revolutionary Cuba" to neutralize the distorted American press. 1 c. May 1960 A CIA station is established in Coral Gables, Florida as headquarters for CIA Cuban operations and as the "forward base" of the project for which E. Howard Hunt has been made "Chief of Political Action." [NOTE: This is the forerunner to CIA's JM/WAVE headquarters in Miami.] 4 May 1960 Carlos Bringuier leaves Havana, Cuba and travels to Guatemala. 3 June 1960 Text of memo from J. Edgar Hoover: Date: June 3, 1960 To: Office of Security Department of State From: John Edgar Hoover, Director Subject: LEE HARVEY OSWALD [iNTERNAL?] SECURITY - [illegible letter?] Since there is a possibility that an imposter is using Oswald's birth certificate, any current information the Department of State may have concerning subject will be appreciated. 1 - Director of [Naval?] Intelligence The DRE and FPCC were born only about a month and a half apart, and functionally died at the same time less than three years later. They certainly served Oswald's legend well, though, dinnit they? Even given these understandings—or perhaps due to these understandings—I believe it cannot be overstated that the one common thread running through all wrinkles of the fabric of the Oswald legend is summated in one word: Communism. It was not about Cuba, it was about Communism. It was not about Castro, it was about Communism. It did not matter a damn to CIA whether the perceived Communism was "primitive communism" or Stalinism or Marxism or Castroism or Trotskyism or any other -ism, as long as it was perceived by the public at large as some brand of Communism. The concentration on Cuba and Castro, per se, is a grossly altered importance, because the underlying pounding message in all of the literature (however false or staged or manufactured or hearsay) concerning Oswald and anything to do with Cuba is summated entirely in one word that absolutely radiated in 1963 America with loathing, fear, and hatred: Communism. That was Oswald's scarlett letter. Ashton
  20. Oh, for the love of God! How many "last times" are you going to reincarnate yourself and your spin-bin theories? And why have you still not answered my question I asked you repeatedly nine months ago? Here it is again: Isn't it true that gaining officer and instructor status in the Special Forces, as you attained, required considerable training in brainwashing and coercive persuasion techniques, including but not limited to familiarity with works referenced in the CIA manual "KUBARK Counterintelligence Interrogation," et seq.? That's not "personal": that goes to social engineering, and I think it's a very, very relevant disclosure that should be made, pertinent to exactly what these forums are addressing. Ashton Gray
  21. Without wishing to detract in any slightest way from the focus on Ewen Cameron's butchery and its influence on the development of CIA's atrocities in relation to mind control, my primary source for characterizing MK/ULTRA as having been "the brainchild of Richard Helms" is a Church Committee report with the windy title of "94TH Congress, 2d Session Senate Report No. 94-755, Foreign and Military Intelligence, Book I, Final Report of the Select Committee To Study Govermental Operation With Respect To Intelligence Activities, which says in pertinent part: MKULTRA began with a proposal from the Assistant Deputy Director for Plans, Richard Helms, to the DCI, outlining a special funding mechanism for highly sensitive CIA research and development projects that studied the use of biological and chemical materials in altering human behavior. The projects involved: "Research to develop a capability in the covert use of biological and chemical materials. This area involves production of various physiological conditions which could support present or future clandestine operations. Aside from the offensive potential, the development of a comprehensive ability in this field of covert chemical and biological warfare gives us a thorough knowledge of the enemy's theoretical potential, thus enabling us to defend ourselves against a foe who might not be as restrained in the use of these techniques as we are." MKULTRA was approved by the DCI on April 13, 1953 along the lines proposed by ADDP Helms. The actual "brainchild" language pursuant to the above is attributable to Martin Lee and Bruce Shlain in their book (which has almost as windy a title), "Acid Dreams: The Complete Social History of LSD: The CIA, the Sixties, and Beyond." 22. Hi, Gary. We still got to pull this taffy apart a little bit. As I said in response to Dawn (who seemed to have the same misapprehension) "The Real Deep Throat" (TRDT) never said anything at all about either Scientology or Scientologists (as such) or L. Ron Hubbard. TRDT does make an allusion to Hunt and Liddy in relation to CIA's Cleve Backster and Ingo Swann—but never mentions that Swann was a Scientology OT. TRDT does, in the last message, name both Hal Puthoff and Ingo Swann—but never mentions that both of them were Scientology OTs. TRDT does point a long bony finger at CIA's Remote Viewing operation as being significantly connected to the Watergate fraud, but never says anything specific about Scientology being a part of it, or about the possibility of the kidnap and/or murder of L. Ron Hubbard having been the actual skulduggery afoot that was being covered up by the Memorial Day weekend Circus of Impossibilities. TRDT does say that the Watergate principals actually were doing some very dirty work that weekend instead of monkeying around with Cubans at the Watergate. Was it wet work? TRDT doesn't say, but a reference to "the chair" seems to imply strongly that it was not penny-ante. I hope that lays to rest any further confusion about TRDT having mentioned Scientology or Scientologist per se, because he/she/it did not. TRDT did (correctly) name two Scientology OTs who were central to the CIA's black program, but did not identify them as being Scientology OTs. Having said all of that, I have to answer that as far as I know, the messages of "The Real Deep Throat" are, indeed, the first time a connection was made between the CIA's top secret Remote Viewing program and what we know as "Watergate." My own personal belief is that TRDT was leaving it to others to finish connecting the dots, and by the time the messages of TRDT appeared, lots of those dots already existed and were connected. In order to insure that my last sentence above does not sit as a complete mystery, I have started a new topic in this forum: Press Releases of The Public Research Foundation. That series of investigative reports came out in 1997, and as far as I can determine (so far), represent the first indication of the connection between Scientology and CIA's Remote Viewing program. That predates the messages of "The Real Deep Throat" by seven years. I can't say that I agree with you from my reading. I find that TRDT scattered bread crumbs throughout the messages leading to CIA's Remote Viewing program as the underlying motivation. I also find that TRDT says very bluntly and blatantly that the elaborate Memorial Day weekend idiocies "confessed" to by the perps were told only, as Dawn quoted, "to cover up their REAL crimes committed then - crimes far more vicious, far more heinous, far more odious, shocking, and abhorrent than anything ever uncovered in all the endless annals of Watergate." I also find that TRDT revisits this theme of a cover-up (the CIA's) wrapped in a false cover-up (purportedly Nixon's and CReeP's): "GEMSTONE was not an intelligence operation: it was only a COVER for a major intelligence operation." —The Real Deep Throat I'll give you this: the monolith in 2001: A Space Odessey ain't nothin' compared to this Watergate-Remote Viewing mess. Hell, that only had six sides. Encountering this is more like bumping into a star-sized one of these floating in space: I invite you to read the press releases of The Public Research Foundation, and I believe you will find yourself staring deeply into other colorful facets of this giant mystery. But no matter how confusing the facets might at first seem, just as with the Great Rhombicuboctahedra above, they all, indeed, are connected. Ashton
  23. Charles, this is a theme about which I could write a book. (Wait a minute: in fact, I am writing a book about it.) I don't want to go too far off into this theme in this particular thread, and it likely deserves its own (if you start it, I'll be there), so all I'll say at the moment is that to read Hunt's "Undercover" and Liddy's "Will" is to marvel that either of them ever got their pants on right-side out. To hear them tell it, it's The Three Stooges Do Political Espionage. Nothing they started ever was finished, and if it was "finished" somehow, it was a complete disaster. And of course the reason is because nothing they claimed they were doing ever was what they actually were doing, so of course none of it ever went anywhere. Ashton
  24. This is the sixth in a series of nine press releases issued by The Public Research Foundation. This release goes directly to the CIA's top-secret Remote Viewing program begun in 1972, at the height of the Watergate Scandal, exposing for the first time that I'm aware of CIA theft of Scientology intellectual property in the creation of that program. This is the last of the series that I'm posting in this forum, but I invite anyone interested to read the rest of the fascinating series at this page, The Newsroom, on the web. N A T I O N A L (ALSO LOCAL FOR: D.C., LOS ANGELES, SEATTLE) ATTN: ASSIGNMENT DESK FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: STUDY FINDS FEDERAL COVER-UP OF SCIENTOLOGY IN MILITARY INTELLIGENCE A chronological investigative analysis of once-classified intelligence reports, corporate papers, copyright and trademark records, court documents, and other public records has exposed a massive and pervasive co-ordination of the Executive and Judicial Branches in order to effect a cover-up, since at least 1972, of copyrighted Scientology technologies being illegally utilized in United States strategic intelligence. The study shows that the cover-up has reached all the way to the Oval Office in both Republican and Democratic administrations, including those of George Bush and Jimmy Carter. Bush's knowledge and involvement dates back at least to his term as Director of Central Intelligence. The timeline of events documents that an employee of the National Security Agency (NSA), Dr. Harold Puthoff, infiltrated Scientology, completed its confidential upper-level courses, and almost immediately secured a top-secret contract with the Central Intelligence Agency to set up the CIA-initiated "remote-viewing" intelligence program. The evidence is that the program secretly utilized Scientology techniques--intellectual property of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard--without Hubbard's or any Scientology organization's knowledge or permission, and without compensation. The study also shows that Scientology's Guardian's Office (GO)--headed by Hubbard's wife Mary Sue--had province over the intellectual properties being illegally used by the federal government. The GO became embroiled in protracted litigation, via the churches, of numerous Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) suits against NSA, the CIA, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), the Department of Defense, the Secret Service, and other Executive Branch departments and agencies. The FOIA suits sought the release of documents related to Scientology and to L. Ron Hubbard that were known to exist, but were being withheld by the federal intelligence agencies and the Defense Department, among others, on grounds of NATIONAL SECURITY. One ruling against the Scientologists even went so far as to justify withholding of documents about Scientology on the grounds that the Director of CIA is "responsible for protecting intelligence sources AND METHODS from unauthorized disclosure...[emphasis added]." Neither Hubbard, his wife, nor the Guardian's Office knew the exact nature of the documents, nor about Hubbard's copyrighted materials being illegally used by the federal intelligence agencies. Scientology's FOIA suits spanned the very time when the top-secret Scientology-based remote viewing program and budget were not only being expanded, but were being utilized by the Department of Defense, the President's National Security Council (NSC), and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. But the documents being sought by the Guardian's Office were never released; the FBI raided the church's offices in July of 1977, and the federal government filed criminal charges accusing Mary Sue Hubbard and the Guardian's Office of "criminal spying"--a strange irony. The sensational case resulted in Mary Sue Hubbard and 10 Guardian's Office co-defendants being sentenced to jail without a trial by federal Judge Charles R. Richey, which led to the ultimate disbanding of Scientology's Guardian's Office. This opened the way for a new senior corporation, "Church of Spiritual Technology" (CST), doing business as the "L. Ron Hubbard Library." It was set up in 1982--right after the Supreme Court had upheld Mary Sue Hubbard's conviction--for the express purpose of gaining receivership and control of L. Ron Hubbard's copyrights. But it was in the founding of this corporation that the first hint of the cover-up by the federal government lay buried. In an EXCLUSIVE 1997 STORY, the PUBLIC RESEARCH FOUNDATION reported that Meade Emory--former Assistant to the Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service and former Legislation Attorney, Joint Committee on Taxation--had been a co-founder of CST, Scientology's most senior coporation. That corporation now controls the copyrights for all of L. Ron Hubbard's intellectual properties, once valued at close to $100 million. CST also enjoys ultimate authority over all Scientology-related trademarks, including even the name "L. Ron Hubbard." But the discovery of Emory, a non-Scientologist, in such an unusual position raised red flags, since Emory's involvement in setting up the corporation had been hidden for fifteen years. Then it was learned that Emory had been Assistant to Commissioner of IRS Donald C. Alexander from 1975 through 1977. Strangely, those were the very years that an IRS employee, Gerald Wolfe, was supposedly a Scientology "double agent" guilty of numerous thefts of IRS documents for Mary Sue Hubbard and the Guardian's Office--leading to the arrests and convictions. Other oddities also surfaced: 1. According to a U.S. Claims Court ruling, none of the founders of CST but one had any religious connection with Scientology. They were non-Scientologist tax and probate attorneys. 2. The October 1993 IRS tax-exemption for CST was granted in a then-secret Closing Agreement only after a final round-up of every intellectual property ever produced by L. Ron Hubbard had been completed. 3. On November 29, 1993, scarcely two months after CST had been granted tax exemption by IRS in a secret Closing Agreement, all 7,730 of L. Ron Hubbard{s copyrights were quietly transferred to CST. PRF's original press release and supporting documents about Meade Emory's ties to CST were sent to major newspapers--including the Wall Street Journal--and to Senator William V. Roth, Jr., Finance Committee Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Joint Committee on Taxation. Within 15 days the secret agreement between IRS and CST, et al. was leaked to WSJ, who never ran the story on Emory. But the IRS Closing Agreement, once released, revealed that it had been the final step in the United States government's 20-year campaign to secretly get L. Ron Hubbard's copyrighted technologies and techniques--being illegally used by federal agencies in strategic intelligence--firmly under secret federal government control. Putting the copyrights in a 501( c )( 3 ) corporation bypassed the separation clause of the Constitution, because CST, despite its name, is not a church. So certain was the IRS that the secret agreement would never be exposed that it included a "Continued Conspiracy Clause," requiring all signatories to agree in collusion to protect Meade Emory and all other "current or former" employees of IRS and the United States government against any and all claims of their having been involved in a "continued conspiracy." Yet it was just such a "continued conspiracy" that apparently had brought the secret Closing Agreement into being. The federal government further secured its position by secretly setting up an illegal and unconstitutional "Church Tax Compliance Committee" to enforce Treasury regulations on the structure and function of the various Scientology organizations, including permanent installations of "Tax Compliance Officers" in each organization. Senator Roth's inaction on the Executive Summary regarding Meade Emory's involvement with the creation of Scientology's most senior corporation has now raised questions whether the Legislative Branch has been involved in the cover-up as well. -30- Ashton Gray
