  1. There is only one page in the Simkin JFK forum which will not work. It is page two of the Questions forum (or any subsequent). A member of this forum is believed to have caused such hacking on other such forums. It is part of a consistent internet effort to keep Jack White from posting. As Fletcher Prouty once told me...their efforts are because they fear your photoanalysis.

  2. THIS IS AN ACCIDENTAL DUPLICATE POST. DOES THE FORUM HAVE A

    FACILITY FOR DELETING SUCH?

    QUOTE:

Renegade CIA officers killed Senator Heinz in an effort to get access to the Heinz family fortune.

    BRINGS TO MIND:

I believe the CIA killed Howard Hughes and created the myth

of Hughes as a reclusive hermit so they could control and use

his companies and fortune. Agents Robert Maheu and Dick Danner

were involved. Hughes companies were then used in various

CIA covert ops such as the Glomar Explorer.

  4. Sorry about being unavailable for answering your questions for the past 36 hours.

I am able to access ONLY PAGE ONE of the "Jack White: Questions" forum. These are the ONLY pages here I cannot access. I believe either the forum or my computer have been hacked to prohibit my accesss. This is a familiar tactic which has been used on another forum to silence me.

Sorry about that. When John figures how to solve the problem, I will resume answering your queries.

  5. I'll be interested to read any further posts on this site as Chappaquiddick is my main area of research regarding the JFK assasination in regards to  connecting the subsequent tragedies of his brothers.

    Nanci...

Watching an NBC Dateline show a couple of nights ago about ANTHONY PELLICANO, a Hollywood private detective (who is now in prison), I recalled that I remembered him in connection with both Chappaquiddik and the OJ Simpson cases, and perhaps another (Monroe? RFK?)

Do you recall Pellicano coming up in any of your research?

  6. Ville,

I appreciate and applaud what you are trying to do here - but you need to be more specific. What do you mean by 'best'? The best written? The most persuasive in favour of conspiracy? The most persuasive against conspiracy? The book with the best illustrations? The one with the best document reproductions? The best book for beginners?

For what it's worth, here is a short list of the books I personally feel are the most important (no particular order):

The Warren Report. The most important book of all. If you do not know what the lies are, then you can hardly criticize them!

Accessories After The Fact. Remains the best criticism of the above.

Cover-Up (Stuart Galenor). Highly recommended for all newcomers to the case.

Pictures Of The Pain. Well-written and studiously compiled. A very important book.

No More Silence. Larry Snead's masterpiece gives us the opportunity to learn exactly what so many important eyewitnesses saw, heard and did. We should all be gratfeul to Larry for getting to these people and recording their thoughts. AsI have stressed many times before, you cannot interview a name on a tombstone. Larry got there first!

With Malice. A deeply-resesarched work, brilliantly illustrated and with valuable document reproductions. Okay, in the opinion of many of us, Dale Myers comes to the wrong conclusion but that does not mean that all his research is flawed. This should be on every researcher's bookshelf.

Kill Zone (Craig Roberts). An acknowledged expert marksman (USMC) exp[lains that Oswald could not have pulled off that feat of marksmanship because he (Roberts) couldn't have done it.

Just my own ideas. I doubt that any two people would produce the same list.

    Ready for the flak!

    IAN

    Hi, Ian...a good list...but

    Armstrong's HARVEY & LEE must

top any list. If you don't know

who Oswald was, you cannot understand

    the assassination.

    Jack B)

  7. I have been told that Oswald had one or more photos taken in Mexico City for a passport or visa and that those photos still exist.

Does anyone know of a source where I can see these pictures online?

    Thanks,

    Steve Thomas

The photo outlined in green was alleged

to be taken by LHO in a bus station photo

booth in Mexico City, as I recall. I doubt

the provenance of ALL alleged LHO photos.

  8. How do you respond to those who attack your credibility as a photo expert because of you HSCA testimony?  This is always brought up by critics of your work.

The PHOTOGRAMMETRY issue is a phony one...made up by Blakey.

I have worked with photos for more than fifty years. I am both a photographer, art director, darkroom technician and photoanalyst.

Despite being a photo expert, I had never heard the semi-scientific term PHOTOGRAMMETRY... which is used only by academics, not photo professionals. In lay terms, it means MEASURING PHOTOGRAPHS, which I did every day. I just called it measuring photos instead of the technical name.

Knowing the definition of a somewhat arcane word has NOTHING TO DO WITH PHOTOANALYSIS.

    Jack White

PS...after lunch, my friend Seth Kantor, as well as NPR analyst Nina Totenberg blasted Blakey for his tactics, and his staff apologized to Seth and me...calling it "BLAKEY'S METHOD" with an ADVERSE WITNESS, even though I was a staff consultant.

  9. Hi Jack!

Personally, I'd like to know more about the Zapruder Waltz.  There was a lot of detail in 'Murder in Dealey Plaza,' but I'm interested in your professional opinion -- specifically as to whether you believe one of the positions can be used as a 'template' or 'genuine' Zapruder/Sitzman whereby the other photos can be judged.

    - lee

Lee...I prefer not to give opinions or speculation... only what I see in photos. So I have no opinion on your template question.

However, I have done many comparisons of all the photos which show 2 persons on the pedestal. I believe all of them are fabrications based on the differing positions and relative sizes in a 6 second time frame. Here is a slide from my Duluth PowerPoint presentation for your study.

  10. But okay, here is a question about Jack's research:

Jack, please show us how you arrived at the conclusion that the old "tramp" is E. Howard Hunt, and how your research precludes it is Chauncey Holt?

    Wim

The reason Chauncey Holt is not the Old Man tramp is simple. One of the tramp photos shows a man who is identical to CIA man E. Howard Hunt. No photo of Holt can be matched to the photo.

  11. Jack, I am interested in your analysis of what have become known as the backyard photographs.

    http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/LHO1.htm

These photographs show Oswald with a rifle, a pistol, and two socialist newspapers. I know when I first came across these photographs I immediately thought they were fakes. Not because I knew anything about photographs but because I found it difficult to believe that an assassin would have a photograph of himself taken carrying the proposed murder weapon. The holding of the two newspapers also seemed ridiculous (especially as they were published by two opposing groups (Stalinist and Trotskyite) and were unlikely to have both been purchased by Oswald (from his comments he would have appeared to have been an anti-Stalinist).

If these photographs are fakes, it proves that Oswald was being set up in advance of the assassination as a “patsy”.

I believe that the two commissions that have looked at these photographs have declared them to be genuine. I believe Marina Oswald confessed to taking them and as far as I can see, has never withdrawn this statement.

Can you explain why you think they are fakes? I am particularly interested in the technical reason for this (rather than the political reasons that I have given.

John...I have studied the backyard photos for about 40 years, and they are provably fake in many ways, as I demonstrate in my video FAKE. Attached are two

slides from my Duluth PowerPoint presentation (see THE GREAT ZAPRUDER FILM HOAX).

The first slide shows a list of many of the problems with the 3 photos.

The bottom slide shows that EVEN IF the photos are genuine, the difference in the rifle SLING RINGS makes the backyard photos EXCULPATORY instead of incriminating.

I hope you find this reply to your question satisfactory. If you have additional specific questions, let me know.

    Jack

  12. Question of the month:

The American mainstream media is wary of conspiracies. It is almost a dirty word and it is often argued that vast conspiracies like most people see for example behind the Kennedy assasinations are too monstrous to cover up and that people would have talked before and after the fact. Actually this happened on many occasions, but let's ignore that ....

Why is the mainstream press so gullible on such a huge conspiracy as Osama Bin Laden and allies pulled off on 9/11/2001, involving 19 hi-jackers, four planes and god knows how many more backup people and infrastructure?

Mr. Dankbaar asks the KEY question regarding 9-11.

It is SO OBVIOUS that the truth has been hidden, yet the media refuses to look.

  13. John, thank you for the invitation to answer questions that are within my areas of study on the JFK assassination for your members.

As many of your members know, I have studied photographs related to the assassination for more than 40 years, and have a huge collection of photos, books, videos and other JFK media. I testified before the HSCA in the 70s regarding the backyard photos and the MC rifle. I was prohibited from testifying about the ID photos of LHO which I was studying at that time. Subsequently I produced two videos...FAKE, on the backyard photos, and THE MANY FACES OF LEE HARVEY OSWALD, on the identity of LHO. More recently I produced a video THE GREAT ZAPRUDER FILM HOAX as I worked with Dr. Jim Fetzer and others on the fakery of the Zfilm. I participated in Jim's three books, ASSASSINATION SCIENCE, MURDER IN DEALEY PLAZA, and THE GREAT ZAPRUDER FILM HOAX.

I will be happy to attempt answers to SPECIFIC QUESTIONS within my areas of studies. No generalities/opinions will be considered, since they often have no answers. The question I get most often is WHERE WERE THE SHOOTERS? Let's get that out of the way...I do not know. Nobody does.

Please keep your questions simple and one at a time; no long lists please. I have hundreds of JFK images already digitized, and will be glad to post specific images on request if I have them.

On the internet, provocateurs make ad hominem attacks on me and my work, and try to provoke me into "debating". I do not have time to "debate". And why should I answer questions for anyone who includes an insulting attack?

I note that the first posting in this category begins with such an attack. I will not reply to the legitimate question at the end because of the unprovoked attack at

the beginning. I will reply ONLY if the submitter edits the posting to include ONLY the question, without the attack.

    Let the questions begin.

  14. In a report published Monday, the Lovenstein Institute of Scranton, Pennsylvania, detailed its findings of a four-month study of the intelligence quotient of President George W. Bush. Since 1973, the Lovenstein Institute has published its research to the educational community on each new president, which includes the famous "IQ" report among others. There have been twelve presidents over the past 50 years, from F.D. Roosevelt to G. W. Bush, who were rated based on:

    1. Scholarly achievements

    2. Writings that they produced without aid of staff

    3. Their ability to speak with clarity, and

    4. Several other psychological factors which were then scored using the Swanson/Crain system of intelligence ranking.

The study determined the following IQs of each president as accurate to within five percentage points. In order by presidential term:

    142 - Franklin Delano Roosevelt

    132 - Harry S Truman

    122 - Dwight David Eisenhower

    174 - John Fitzgerald Kennedy

    126 - Lyndon Baines Johnson

    155 - Richard Milhous Nixon

    121 - Gerald R. Ford

    175 - James Earle Carter

    105 - Ronald Wilson Reagan

098 - George Herbert Walker Bush

    182 - William Jefferson Clinton

    091 - George Walker Bush

    In IQ order:

    182 - William Jefferson Clinton

    175 - James Earle Carter

    174 - John Fitzgerald Kennedy

    155 - Richard Milhous Nixon

    147 - Franklin Delano Roosevelt

    132 - Harry S Truman

    126 - Lyndon Baines Johnson

    122 - Dwight David Eisenhower

    121 - Gerald R. Ford

    105 - Ronald Wilson Reagan

098 - George Herbert Walker Bush

    091 - George Walker Bush

The six Republican presidents of the past 50 years had an average IQ of 115.5, with President Nixon having the highest at 155. President George W. Bush rated the lowest of all the Republicans with an IQ of 91. The six Democrat presidents had IQs with an average of 156, with President Clinton having the highest IQ, at 182. President Lyndon B. Johnson was rated the lowest of all the Democrats with an IQ of 126. No president other than Carter [D] has released his actual IQ (176).

Among comments made concerning the specific testing of President G. W. Bush, his low ratings are due to his apparently difficult command of the English language in public statements, his limited use of vocabulary [6,500 words for Bush versus an average of 11,000 words for other presidents], his lack of scholarly achievements other than a basic MBA, and an absence of any body of work which could be studied on an intellectual basis. The complete report documents the methods and procedures used to arrive at these ratings, including depth of sentence structure and voice stress confidence analysis.

"All the Presidents prior to George W. Bush had at least one book under their belt, and most had written several white papers during their education or early careers. Not so with President Bush," Dr. Lovenstein said. ! "He has no published works or writings, which made it more difficult to arrive at an assessment. We relied more heavily on transcripts of his unscripted public speaking."

  16. On 11-22-63 I was certain it was LBJ and cronies. For the next 30 years I read every book and watched every TV show, and considered... the CIA, the Mafia, the Cubans, the Russians, the Secret Service... you name it, I considered it. But I knew it was not a lone nut kid named Oswald. By about 1990 I was back where I started. I was certain it was LBJ and

    friends.

Over the years, logic prevailed. Who benefited most? Who had the motive, means, opportunity? Who could cover up the crime? Who could control the autopsy? Who could control the investigations and the investigators? Who could control the evidence and suppress or change it? Who could fabricate evidence in the hands of the FBI? Who could control the media? Who could control the public? Who could control the patsy? Who could fabricate the Zabruder film? Certainly not Dulles... Giancana... Castro... Kruschev... etc.

ANSWER: THE POWER OF THE PRESIDENCY.... especially a venal and corrupt president and his friends, backers, and cronies. Lyndon Baines Johnson. He controlled Texas. He controlled Dallas. He controlled Hoover. He controlled Dulles. He controlled the military. He controlled Warren and the commission. He had alliances with the mafia and the media. He and Hoover used BLACKMAIL and murder to control those he could not control. Hoover fabricated evidence for him. Hoover was his next door neighbor. He allied himself with Hoover, Dullles, Nixon and his backers in the oil/military industrial complex/CIA/military to carry out the murder.

That is the truth. It was so obvious all along. One of the most corrupt men in all of history... LBJ.

  17. Ron Redmon, a school principal in Indiana, has studied the Z-film extensively. Ron discovered that approximately 20 spectators along the north Elm curb east of the Stemmons sign do not appear to move for more than three seconds, while every spectator on the south curb does move. By overlapping images from two slide projectors, I determined that Ron was probably correct. It seems to me that a single image of the 20 spectators had been repeated over and over. It seems improbable that in this period of time not a single person moved an arm or leg, waved, or changed position to any noticeable extent. Ron speculates that when frames were removed in this sequence, spectator movements would have been very jerky so they had to be stabilized by repeating them. In correspondence with me, Ron also mentioned many other possible signs of tampering, which he summarized in The Fourth Decade in March of 1995. These include:

    (1) In frames 144-153 (one-half second), spectator Hugh Betzner has moved a distance which exceeds human speed capability indicating excised frames.

    (2) In frames 155-161 (one-third second), spectator Linda Willis has turned 180 degrees and comes in contact with spectator Robert Croft, another instance of superhuman speed... again indicating excised frames.

    (3) In frames 161-180 (approximately one second), Linda Willis takes several steps, and Rosemary Willis takes several steps... again much too fast, indicating excised frames.

    (4) Looking at the Stemmons sign, in frame 161 it is in perfect condition, but by frame 183 there is a significant notch on the top left edge, yet by frame 188, the notch disappears.

    (5) In frame 255, Ron speculates that a fake shadow has obscured driver William Greer, to his west. Since the sun was overhead and to Greer's left, Ron says this shadow is inconsistent.

    (6) In frames 312-321, Governor Connally turns 90 degrees in one half-second. Also the white spot on the grass in the background moves more than 10 feet in one half second.

    (7) In frames 321-336, JFK's head moves from the seat back to leaning forward with his head in contact with Jackie's left arm in less than one second, seemingly too fast.

    (8) In frames 153-155 (one-ninth of a second), a woman who is the thirteenth person east of the Stemmons sign has shifted her feet significantly... more than should be possible.

    (9) In frames 335-336 (one-eighteenth of a second), Jackie moves her right arm a significant distance. Ron reminds us that laboratory tests show that a human eye blink is one-twenty-fifth of a second, and a flinch or startle response of moving an arm, leg or head takes one-fifth of a second as a basis for his conclusions.

    (10) Comparing the Willis and Betzner photos, which are almost simultaneous in time, Ron notes that in Willis five adults and a child can be seen framed between the posts of the Stemmons sign, but in the Betzner picture, from a similar angle and a split second earlier, the same persons are not seen. Also, two women appearing in Zapruder in this sequence (188-210) should be seen in Willis and Betzner are not seen.

    (11) In recent correspondence with me, Ron cites Dan Rather's description of the film and compares it to what is seen. Rather, of course, was one of the first persons to view the Z-film. Early in his commentary. Rather says the film shows... "The President's automobile was preceded by one other car... (the film does not show this) ... the President's black Lincoln automobile made a turn, a left turn, off Houston Street onto Elm Street (the film does not show this). It got about 35 yards from the corner of Elm and Houston... at the moment the President put his hand up and lurched forward and it was obvious he had been hit." The present film begins with the limo already on Elm at frame 133 and the forward lurch is between frames 188-200. "Governor Connally," Rather continued, "... in the seat just in front of the President, sensed something was wrong... his coat was unbuttoned... and as he turned he extended his right hand toward the President, he exposed his entire shirt front and chest... and was wounded with... a second shot (as Redmon comments, no existing Zapruder frames show the specific action that Rather describes, with the governor in full turn with hand extended toward the President). Rather continues"... the third shot hit the President, and... his head went forward with considerable violence." Was Rather looking at an unaltered different film... or is he just a lousy reporter?

  18. Reasons why the backyard photographs are faked.

    (1) Same Lee Harvey Oswald face on 3 bodies.

    (2) Chin is square, not pointed.

    (3) Fingers are chopped off.

    (4) Shadows are wrong.

    (5) Left arm is too short.

    (6) Rifle is wrong length

    (7) Body is out of balance.

    (8) Newspapers are wrong size.

    (9) Rifle swivels are in the wrong place.

  19. Jack D. White was born on January 17, 1927, in San Angelo, Texas. His parents, John Nathan White and Billie Lorena Dumas White, moved the family to Fort Worth shortly after his birth and he was raised and educated there. After graduation from Amon Carter Riverside High School in 1944, White worked briefly for the Fort Worth Press as a sports writer covering high school sports under legendary sports editor H. H. "Pop" Boone. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1945, during World War II. After his discharge in 1946, White returned to Fort Worth to pursue his interest in journalism, art, and history. He graduated from Texas Christian University in 1949, with a B.A. in journalism and began an advertising career as copywriter and art director at Yates Advertising Agency in Fort Worth. In 1954, he joined the Witherspoon and Ridings Public Relations Agency in Fort Worth, which later became Witherspoon and Associates, at the time the largest advertising agency in town. White began as the firm’s first art director and during his twenty-seven years with the agency rose to vice-president, executive art director, personnel manager, and part owner. He specialized in design, type management, and photography and developed their in-house facilities for darkroom work, studio photography, and slide show presentations.

Although White had photographed the city since the 1950s, he only began collecting Fort Worth photographs seriously in 1972, when Witherspoon was planning the 100th anniversary of one of its clients, the Fort Worth National Bank. He was in charge of acquiring copies of historical prints of Fort Worth for the bank’s annual report, a historical booklet, and an exhibit for the bank lobby. After the anniversary event, he took care to preserve all the exhibit materials. During the next twenty years White reproduced other clients’ historical photographs and took hundreds of pictures to add to the collection. Another of White’s areas of expertise and collecting interests is the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas, in 1963. He is nationally known as an expert on the assassination and served as a photographic consultant to the U.S. House Select Committee on Assassinations during the hearings. He was also a consultant on the Oliver Stone film, JFK. As a result of his interest in the Kennedy assassination, White published two videotapes on his photographic studies of the assassination. He has developed a slide lecture, which he presents to classes and symposia on the JFK assassination and also contributes his research to professional journals.

White retired from Witherspoon and Associates in 1981, and formed his own company, Jack White Enterprises, which specialized in free-lance art and photography. In 1984, as business increased, he took on partners. The firm’s name changed to VJS Companies, and the company added new services, including typography and photostats. The firm closed for a brief period in 1991, following several setbacks, but reopened later in the year as Jack White Graphic Arts. Now retired, White lives in the White Lake Hills addition in east Fort Worth with his wife the former Sue Benningfield. Their home, built in 1970, was designed to focus on a view of the downtown Fort Worth skyline.
